Just visited the Chicos in Greenville SC in Greenridge. I have NEVER been totally ignored by the staff like I was at this store!!! We were looking quickly because we'd eaten nearby and knew they closed in 20 minutes. There were two women working in the store and neither one looked at us or offered to help. I was with my sister and my mother and we saw several items our mom could use but we won't be going back. They were amazingly RUDE!!! read more

I was at the Kent Chico's today. I shopped, then stepped outside. Then I realized my ulcerative colitis was about to act up, so I went back inside and approached a worker. When I told her my situation, she just said, "Non-shoppers aren't allowed to use our bathrooms." I told her I had just been shopping there, but she just went to her other coworker and wrote a four digit number on a stickie note and gave it to me. In poor English, she told me it was the number for the public restroom down the street. We thought it was an address, but when my husband googled it, nothing came up. So I asked a worker at The Loft if she knew what it was, and she said it was the code to the public restroom. She pointed out where it was, but said I could use their restroom, saying she understood my situation. Her empathy made my day. I will never go into a Chico's again. read more

I purchased a shirt online and picked it up at my local store. The person who helped me was brisk and fairly unwelcoming. I was handed my blouse wrapped in tissue paper. I was not offered a bag or any additional assistance, despite the fact that I was looking at another blouse. It was not a. great look for the store. read more

Very poor customer service! I had to returned supposedly non-shrinking shirts which shrank considerably after washing. I went to return the shirts immediately after the first wash. The manager in back said I could return them, but the saleslady in front was so nasty. She said she would have to flag my account and I shouldn't be buying these shirts anymore. She kept going on and on even though her boss had already approved the return. Her tone was that this was my fault instead of the company's fault even though she admitted they are not suppose to shrink. I am not sure how I was suppose to know they shrank before washing it. The whole comment of flagging my account so I don't buy these shirts was ridiculous! Of course, I won't be buying them, but her attitude has caused me to not buy anything at this store ever again. read more

I check here first whenever I need a nice outfit for an event or when I just feel the need for new clothes. I have found the employees always helpful and polite. Also the clothes selection is varied, and I almost always find what I need ( and more!). If the exact size or color is not in the store, the sales clerks gladly order it for me. Returns are a breeze especially if I retained the receipt and no problem without one. It doesn't matter if the purchase was online or from another Chico's, the staff is always helpful when I need to return something. The store is located in Kent Station so it is easy to find a good restaurant nearby and even a movie if you are so inclined. I recommend the Kent Station location in particular. read more

Do yourself a favor and check out what events are happening. Also, get the Passport Membership. It is a great loyalty program that will help you receive a 5% discount for life. I've been there a couple times. I just went there to return a Christmas gift that was ordered online. I felt the lady was rude to me and challenged the return. she didn't know what she was doing and said she couldn't return the item. I had to explain that right on the back of the receipt it said I could return it to the store. she got someone to help her. I just didn't appreciate the rudeness. my mom shops there a lot and this is how they treated me. I feel the quality and the prices are not good either. I won't be going there again. I did get a gift card and was able to return the item, but it wasn't a pleasant experience. they didn't even ask if i needed help and assisted other customers. I had to go home and reorder the item. I didn't understand why they couldn't just reorder it for me. I thought this was a high end boutique with good customer service. but, this is not what I got. maybe because most of the women in there were older. I'm 46, but people say I look 36. I felt discrimination. read more
