The employees are super nice at this location. It seemed like they were a bit short staffed. Shelves were bare and others were disheveled. Some sections were definitely worse than others. I'll give you a five star rating when you fire whatever blonde started knocking on the window around 8:20-25 trying to get the cashiers attention. Not only was she harassing customers who just paid for their items and JUST walked out the store, but she ran in and interrupted the cashier. Her "Did you ring up those guys" Cashier asked what guys and the woman started talking too fast. This woman turned to me looking high out of her mind off rocks, looked me up and down and snapped at me "did you?!" I said no and she rolled her eyes scoffed and walked away. Not only do I not work here but the only people I saw leave as I got rung up, had paid for their items. Sometimes you are not so DIY and sometimes you are. This is the place to harness those needs to create and let them loose. I wanted to spruce up my place for the holidays. Get out of my "Covid" coma that we have all been in for the past years. This is the place to let those juices flow and create without breaking the bank. I filled my cart. Yes. (No baskets to be found only carts), to the brim. I found not only cute decorative ideas for around the house but also cooking bags big enough for turkey. Place mats and oven mitts. Very decorative. Another visit to another Dollar Tree store! This time at this location. It was pretty packed in there today (11/08/23). There weren't any carts available, so found an empty one around one of the aisles to put the stuff I wanted in there. Bought some nice X-Mas decors, ornaments, Reindeer, drinks, personal care items, candies and bathroom stuff. There were a lot of things, store seemed pretty full of inventory this Holiday season. Not the best Dollar Tree. I was visiting a friend in Covington and needed some party supplies, so came to Dollar Tree where they usually have a great selection of party favors, utensils, paper plates, etc... Although it's nice that the store is located in a business park, making it easy to run errands while in the area, the store itself is cluttered and messy. Because of so, it's disorganized, making it harder to find certain items. I did like that they had seasonal items at the front of the store, but once I was walking down the aisles to find party supplies, many items were in the wrong aisles, so didn't know if there was more stock for the items I was looking to purchase. Check out lines were super slow and long here. People also seemed to be putting their cart in the check out line, to hold their place, but would leave to continue shopping. This Dollar Tree is one of the best Dollar Trees. Let's be clear: this is a dollar store and your expectations should keep that in mind, but compared to the other dollar stores in the general area? This one is definitely on the nicer side. They have a ton of stuff that I don't see at other Dollar Trees and this one is very nicely kept. I don't always go to the dollar store, but when I do it's for disposable items. Some sort of gifting event? Buy your bag/tissue/wrapping/whatever here! It's the exact same stuff you'd find at stores like Party City, but it costs 60% less! They also have great selections for basic office supplies and they usually have fun novelties for whatever holiday we're currently working on. read more

Natasha, who came from her long smoke break smelling horribly like smoke, was rushing, and overcharged me. Rather than being apologetic, she gave me extreme attitude due to HER error. I do not appreciate her tone when I asked her to clarify her mistake. The manager a thin dark stringy haired lady just stood and watched. Horrible customer service. There was also a creepy young black guy standing at the register not checking anyone out.. well he was, but more so as in staring at them and me. I felt very uncomfortable. As far as the selection and what they carry? It was limited, they really didn't have much. It was just nicely placed. Just had the worst experience ever shopping here. Went through Brenda Sutherlands line and she was the most disrespectful cashier I have encountered there. Had an attitude when I first stepped up in line for my turn when I told her I had exchange. Then she was scanning everything and one item wouldn't scan because someone stocked them wrong, she instantly got snappy and said she couldn't sell them like that. I stated it wasn't my fault they were stocked wrong and she stated yes it wasn't but she can't sell them like that. Then she asked if I wanted any and i stated I would take them as the package and she stated she couldnt do that. She then called another employee and had him take them all back. I stated well if you arent going to sell as the pack they were on the shelf then I will take 2. Once again has a snarky attitude and was stated that I just had asked you. I then said you do not have to have an attitude with me. She then proceeded to say she didnt have one. I had an exchange to do and when it got to the end of the transaction she said my total. And i stated I still have the exchange. Then she grabbed the exchange bag and had a irritated look on her face. I then at the end of the transcation asked her to speak to a manager and she stated she was the only manager on duty right then. I asked for her managers number and she said just call the store and ask for manager. She shoved the refund receipt in front of me with a pen not explaining that I had to sign anything just expected me to know. I asked for my orignal receipt back and she said "its in your bag" i then was very upset and fumid of how I was just treated with disrespect. I have worked retail before and was a cashier i know how rude customers can be. But for an employee to begin treating a customer like that is down right disrespectful and not customer service at all. I understand its Holiday season and the stress but there was no need for any of her attitude or rudeness. I then leave the building, get in my car and proceed to call the store where I asked for a manager and Justus Howard answered stated he was one of the manangers on duty (interesting as Brenda stated she was the only manager there) I expressed how upset and direspected I felt in regards to Brenda's customer service and asked for the corporate number because her attitude and disrepect towards a costumer should be addresses. Stopped in to buy some balloons for my son's birthday. I forgot that it was also graduation time and the line for balloons was long. I was debating if I should wait or forget it, when two extra employees came up and started helping. Before I knew it, I had my balloons in hand and was on my way. Ordered online to be delivered to this store. It was a week late from the date said to arrive. When I got the email saying that my order was ready I headed out to the store only to have them tell me that I would have to come back because they didn't finish unloading the truck and wouldn't get around to it today. This is not on my way... I have to drive quite a bit out of my way to come back again. Not convenient at all! They should tell you in the email to call first to verify that your order is truly ready for pick up. I will not order from them again. So I get to be inconvenienced by coming back so that they don't have to be inconvenienced by having to unload their truck on time... great customer service! read more

We ordered several balloons in advance for our daughters birthday party. The person on the phone was pleasant and was eager to assist. When picking up the balloons we realized we were missing a few. Not sure what happened but the gal at the check out stand was very helpful and was eager to make it right. I didn't have time otherwise I would have let her blow up the correct balloons. read more

I prefer coming to this location due to the size of the store. I think it is just a trend with Dollar Tree's being very messy inside and stuff just thrown around haphazardly. I guess that will happen when many parents don't pay attention to their kids grabbing things off the shelf and throwing them on the floor (yes...this happens A LOT parents!) Anyways, the service has always been good at this location, but there are usually a lot of empty spots on shelves and they run out of things often. I will continue to come back because you can't beat a $1 for a lot of things that are $3+ elsewhere, but... the store could use some improving on cleaning up after other people unfortunately. read more

I guarantee that the staff here are kind and truly polite people. This review is not meant to explain an experience concerning any staff but the over all appearance of this Dollar Tree. I actually HATE discount store shopping of any kind, due to the possibility of situations like this but today we went in to look at some supplies for an art / presentation project my husband is working on. As soon as I walked in the stench of very cheaply created plastic items assaults your nose! The piles of boxes of products, cracked open for "shopping" are stacked precariously all over the isles. The floors are littered with retail and cracked open containers! I was so horrified I forgot to photograph it! I tried to distract myself with a phone call but instead was faced with the repulsive offerings of this store! Deciding on the poor selection we hurried toward the front door! I suggest someone from corporate or their DM makes an appearance, puts on an apron and starts HELPING this store. It's DISGUSTING! read more
