No Red Bull at all in store. Apparently they didn't renew their contract with Red Bull so now they do not / cannot sell Red Bull. Arguably the most popular energy drink... I literally just left my entire cart of groceries and went to Safeway. I'm not interested in going to two different grocery stores to get my items, so I will unfortunately not be going to Fred Meyer again until they sell Red Bull. Safeway for the win! read more

You all are eliminating positions. Rather than allowing those who are losing their jobs the chance to transfer internally, you are hiring from the outside. You also profile shoppers. My son has been to your store many times with no problems. Then, he gets profiled and asked to show his receipt several times before he even gets to the exit. I was told that he "looked suspicious". At the start of the interaction I gave them my insurance card. They had me fill out the paperwork for my flu shot, and made me wait. After all of that they told me they don't take my insurance. Somewhat recently remodeled...which means I can't find anything. Like many other Freddy's, they've decided to put their alcohol into its own area with a register just for alcohol purchases...while still having things tucked behind cases. If you want beer you can take that up to the regular register with your grocery. The other stuff? I don't buy it here anymore unless it's on a really good sale (which actually happens!) Fred Meyer has all the things that you'd expect to find at a grocery store. Interestingly enough I can find things at Auburn that I can't find at other Freddy's, but this store doesn't appear to have anything special that I can't get else where. Overall it gets the job done nicely and the prices are pretty on par with the rest of the grocery stores. I like the fact that they're starting to use doors for the cold sections. It's Earth friendly and I'm basically a lizard, so I enjoy not freezing as badly! read more

Fred Meyers is one of my favorite stores. They sell everything you can think of. Groceries, bakery, healthy/ gluten-free grocery items, clothes, jewelry, furniture, house hold items and lots more. I love their lemon bars they are my favorite, I also enjoy ordering special cakes and cupcakes. There's lots of beautiful flowers and plants as well. I was so excited when I saw the new Mochi cooler, pretty neat. I love that you can get any kind you'd like. Always a clean and organized store. read more

Druggies hanging out outside the entry doors trying to get shoppers to buy stolen purchase they JUST pilfered from the same store, parking lot is filled with wayward shopping carts, garbage, and transients harassing people, produce is in horrible condition and many items are half rotted most of the time; like inflation isn't bad enough, but now you want us to buy poor quality items on top of it? When I've tried to have these conversations w/management, they could care less (at least the ones I could track down....that speak some semblance of English). Today I came in for a cake, at 6 pm Monday July 1st. They didn't have any that said happy birthday so I flagged someone down to see if they could have the baker quickly write happy birthday on the blank cake. Prices are fair in today's market. But many times their items don't ring up correctly. Then you have to stand in line at the customer service, where one clerk has a line of about 10 people at any given time. Having to wait for 20-30 minutes because of an error of theirs is frustrating. I love Fred Meyer! One stop shopping trip! They have so many departments that it's so hard not to check them out. I usually stop at this location after Costco when I rather not buy a specific item in bulk haha. Only downfall is that it might be a little too big... don't get me wrong it's nice but when you wanna find something quick it might be all the way on the other side. Everything is pretty spread out & you could be walking forever so I suggest asking an employee if your looking for something before you walk the whole store. We have decided that this is our last trip to Fred Mayer. It's a big store with lots of departments; but, try to find (grocery items) that you're looking for - they're not there. This review is in regards to the meat department people. It's highly unprofessional to close early. I was there at 6:20pm to get bacon for my weekend after my long shift at work. The lady proceeds to help some people in front of me get shrimp, but then tells me they're her last customer even though I can't think of any place that closes at 6:20pm. Also how hard is it to just help a customer real quick?? I work retail and I help people past close all the time because that's just basic customer service. Next time I'll stop by Safeway or drive the extra 15 minutes to the Fred Meyer deli in Auburn because at least those people are nice and competent at their job. read more

Terrible place to buy anything not grocery. Couches, vacuum, anything larger. They never know if it's in stock so you have to sit and wait for them to physically look for it. I shop here every now and then and love that I can find the ingredients that I need. It is hard living on the West Coast where there is very few Puerto Ricans and trying to find certain ingredients. I like the fact that I can find the ingredients I need and at a decent price. I like the cheese selections and seafood selections that they have. Stores usually clean when I'm there and always crowded. I am incredibly glad that they have self check out because it gets really packed in there. I think they are a little expensive for some of stuff they have, but they do have a little better quality than most places. I love the array of vegetables that they have. I love how they have many choices for different things; cheeses, alcohol, seafood, and meat. Four stars because they are way too expensive. read more

It is my plan to stop all of my major shopping at Fred Meyer. Gone is the enjoyment of shopping at Fred Meyer; which it used to be a very enjoyable trip. I used to be able to go into a Fred Meyer store, head to the produce, quickly get what I wanted, go to organics, quickly get what I wanted, head over to a few key areas that were close together and be done in a short time - even for a good sized haul of groceries. Now the store has become spread so far apart; that going to the store even for a few items means traversing across most of the store and if you forget something from an aisle you already passed, it is time consuming to head all the way back. The location of oranges vs shampoo vs kombucha etc. -- it's very time consuming. What about our Senior Citizens who have shopped with you for so many years; many may have issues with walking; many people on chemo who would enjoy their short time shopping in the store - will likely stop shopping at Fred Meyer altogether. Many senior citizens don't use your apps because it requires too much for them. Even for people such as myself, and a younger worker at Fred Meyer; we find that when we get to the store - your ap has reset and in order to log back in we need the password - but tha's at home. WE don't log in often enough to remember it and it isn't saved on your app for some reason. This American problem, yes; what great access to so many products; but it would be good for you to know, Fred Meyer; where you will likely be losing customers. It's the seniors; it's the busy mom's who don't have time for the trip in your store. We'll choose Safeway. Also, have stopped shopping the Fred Meyer clothing altogether due to the change to the DIP clothing line, hard to find something nice. Now we go to Kohls. So for our major shopping, we'll enjoy Trader Joes, Safeway, PCC, and even go to some others such as Grocery Outlet and even purposely go to Winco and H-Mart... Missing the old Fred Meyer that used to be Senior-Citizen friendly, and quick-shopper friendly.neeed your store today. Went in for a relatively small load; should have taken me 20 minutes... Your remodel means that a lot of customer time is spent walking while in the grocery store... From oranges to shampoo. From shampoo to kombucha... And if you didn't remember the bread you head way back over to the bread - and what if you get decide that you want meat... over to the meat... SHopping at Fred Meyer is no longer a quick trip due to the layout of the store... Used to be able to head in and grab a whole bunch of healthy items in one area - head over to a not far away few other things and get out. Now it is a trek and customers will need to make organized lists so as not to have to trek back and forth, back and forth though the store wasting time. Not only this, but to get things on a good sale you'll probably have to load it on the ap; but if you don't load it to the ap before you get to the store you can expect that there's an update, and you don't remember the password. Too bad for all those seniors who used to enjoy using coupons at your store. Too bad for those who can still walk but have ailments and it is no longer a well thought out quick trip inside your store. Poor layout. IT was a bad idea to change your groupings. One diabetic at your store today was so upset, she could find the creamer she wanted with sugar... Couldn't find the sugar free. The sugar free of the same brand same flavor was placed in a totally different place (and they're done with the reshuffling...) Fred Meyer is no longer my #1 goto store for shopping. I love our local Fred Meyer store in Covington! It's all one-stop shopping here as they have most of what we need. The store is clean and the employees are all friendly. Lately we have had our groceries delivered to our home and each delivery has been a pleasant experience. I get a text when the shopping has started! And I get text updates when items are not available and being replaced. Our shopper takes pictures and send what are available and I guess if time permits that I respond quickly, they'll replace it with what I want. If an item is not available, they will tell you and refund it. Once shopping is complete, I get a text again that they are on their way. And again when delivery is complete. We've been getting Israel as our "shopper" and he is amazing! You pay when you order online and you add tip. The delivery fee is about $10.00. We;ve been happy with our delivery experience so you get a chance to add additional tip if you want. Appreciate that this shopping option is available especially during these times. I decided to try their delivery service at the Fred Meyer in Covington and was completely in shocked to find out that Fred Meyers uses a 3rd party not only to deliver the food but to also SHOP for your food. I have used the pick up service multiple times, but decided to try the delivery. I ended up getting food delivered in the most unprofessional way, not to mention rotten produce. When I reached out to Fred Meyers to let them know, I was disappointed in the Fred Meyers employee whom picked out my food sending photos of the food and this is how they responded...
