The website shows the location on Lomita and Western was open. IT WAS NOT! The clerk said I could come to this location on Western and Sepulveda and as long as it's not a controlled med, It's in the system and I could get it here. The pharmacist asked me for the information for my bed-ridden, racked with pain sister, ...then told me "THAT WE ARE CLOSING FOR LUNCH AND refused to fill my prescription with me standing right there. I've been coming to this Walgreens for years. I've never written a review for a pharmacy, but after my experience yesterday, I decided to write one. I called them because i lost a bottle of prescription medications, and they said they'll call the insurance to get an insurance override. And then within five minutes, they called me back and got the okay! I'm so grateful. (btw this wouldn't work fora control med). I usually go through the drive-through and I get my medications pretty quickly. They have my card on file so it's easy. And then sometimes I'll just have it delivered to my house. They never answer their phones , they have customers waiting for hours for service. They have no working drive through people with disabilities need to go in to pick up their RX when they have a drive through. Poor customer service. I spoke with Angel the acting manager on duty, he stated that it was so busy because the pharmacy had taken over Rite AIDE CUSTOMERs. If you know you're taking on more work, higher more staff. I went to this store looking for a health supplement I could not find it , the pharmacy had 4 people in line with only one clerk . I went to the front to ask for help the woman at the front desk a heavy wet black woman was rude, she told me she could not leave the desk to come help me . Instead of suggesting to call someone for me / I told her to call someone when that person came she had an attitude . So I went to the one on western and Sepulveda . While the clerk who helped me was very friendly and polite, I am disappointed in the service of the photo department. Advertised as same day service on holiday cards, I placed my order for 20 and was quoted online as being ready in 30 minutes. Great! but since it was late in the evening I planned to pick up in the morning. Stopped there around 11:30 - could not find my order anywhere. It had not been processed yet and the photo clerk was out to lunch. I was number 4 in the queue - since the night before! Not my idea of same day service, I even gave them an additional 12 hours beyond the originally quoted time. Nothing to do but go home and wait. After I'd been home 10-15 minutes I received a call that my order had been found! Really? Nothing like having to turn around and go right back. False advertising. Going forward, if I ever do have photos done here I will be sure to make sure my order is "found" before I leave home. read more

Angie the manager was great she really helped me , I went last night for a special they were having and I had coupons and of course it was a mess and to make it worse the worker forgot to put something in my bag. This morning I went back and was stressed because I knew it was going to be a mess again. No surprise here, this location is a 2 star rated store. Dirty aisles, poor management, rude employees. After living in the Torrance area for 37 years I have never had such disgusting service. Associate Beverly was on her phone for 2 minutes while we waited at the register. After ringing us up another associate came and added 2 candy wrappers to our total which were .20 cents each. I asked the employee why these were added and she accused my daughter of eating them. My daughter NEVER eats Airhead candies. She also is very honest and tells me when she wants something, she knows I'll happily buy it for her. My 5 year old daughter can't stop asking me why she was accused by these ladies, and tells me " I never took those candies". Once we paid for the groceries Beverly never asked if I wanted a bag, she never even passed over the groceries. After paying I had to reach over to grab them. She then went on to make rude remarks, "well you didn't buy a bag". I was never offered a bag, she continued on her phone and rang out my items and I paid. At this point I was Furious, I asked for a manager. To my utter disappointment a lady by the name of Angie came. This lady was worse than the original employee, shocking she has been there since 2004? This lady couldn't manage a herd of sheep, she went on to defend her employee and did NOTHING to de-escalate the situation. Terribly ran store, if I come back here it would only be in an emergency because nothing else is open. Angie tried to flex her "management" position which is a joke, her years of tenure with Walgreens have taught her nothing. 10:30am December 20th, check the cameras; I am sure you will be utterly embarrassed that my daughter never touched your .20 candy. read more

12/5- I place an order for holiday cards and arrive well after the "Earliest time available" time. The store is empty and there is one employee at the cash register near the door. I ask him for help and he tells me to press the button on the counter of the photo area. I press the button and wait. I probably heard the call for help over the intercom about 10 or so times before I go back to the guy at the register and ask him to help me. This guy tells me they are understaffed and someone should arrive shortly. At this point, I was in the store and one other person was shopping down one of the aisles. Someone eventually came and she was pretty rude. I told her my full name and she asked when I placed my order. I said I placed the order today. With an irritated look, she asked again, "Like when did you place the order? What's your name? What's your last name? Oh, the order isn't ready, I need about 20 minutes." Since I could not wait for the order I went home. I honestly wasn't sure if I would bother returning because I was so disappointed by the treatment I received. This person seemed highly bothered by my presence. 12/7- Over the next couple of days, I didn't get a chance to order cards elsewhere so I decided to give this place another shot. I went straight to the photo counter and pressed the button. A gentleman came right over and found my order. I was in and out in under 2 minutes. When I got home I really hated the "photo print" Christmas card. It seemed super flimsy and cheap! 12/8- I go back to the store to return my original order and pick up my new set of cards. I see the same lady from Monday night but she had her back to me and was working on the machine. I waited for a while and then repositioned my body to be more visible. I started making little sounds and noises to get her attention but she ignored me. I pressed the button on the counter to get her attention. She came over and asked how she could help me. I told her I wanted to return my photo print cards, pick up my new cards and pick up 1 single photo. She begins to process my return and tells me that I need to show her ID. I left my ID in the car so I ran to grab it. When I came back, she said she could not find the photo. I asked about the cards. She raised her voice so loud and said, "I did not check on the cards because you never told me you had cards!!!" I took a deep breath and told her that I was not hard of hearing. I told her again I ordered a set of holiday cards. She then asks me how I want my return. I told her I didn't care because I wanted to make another purchase. I also told her I didn't know the different return methods so she could do was she felt was best. I originally paid with a credit card but she took cash out of the register and slammed it on the counter. She went and found my holiday cards and slid them to me. Without a word, she turned and went back to working on the machine. I just walked out. I didn't want to be subjected to this lady anymore! I didn't even care about my photo. She can keep it! Came here during my lunch hour (location recommended by my co worker) for my quadravalant flu shot and was in and out in less than 10 min. If I could select zero stars I would. I never write reviews, but the anxiety attack that I had after dealing with this pharmacy and its incompetence warrants writing a review to warn others and hopefully let management know what happened, if they even read these reviews. I really should have researched before selecting this pharmacy. I took time off work to go get my injectable medication to bring to my appt. They received the order two days prior, and it's one that I typically pick up on my way to the appt (I moved over to Torrance recently so this was my first and last time at this pharmacy). This pharmacy somehow determined that since it was not covered by insurance, which it never had been in the ten years I've been on it, I wouldn't want to pay for it and so they didn't even order it. They never called me even though they had my number on file. I took two hours off work, which limits sick pay substantially, for absolutely no reason. And now I have to reschedule the appt and take even more time off of work to get this done. I left this pharmacy in tears because they completely and royally messed up and I don't think they fully understand the implications of their inability to fulfill my prescription. I will never go to Walgreens again. I never did before today, and I will resort to cvs once again where I have never had this issue. If the pharmacist who helped me out sees this, I hope you and the staff in your pharmacy do better and call the numbers before deciding that people won't pay for their prescriptions. It's insulting and inconsiderate to assume otherwise. read more

I had very important photos to print out for other people and I didn't have time to do it, myself. Plus, there were a lot of pictures that I needed to print. I remembered that Walgreens allows you to upload photos directly to them via their app, for printing. I had tried it before and the app didn't work right. It completely sucked, so I uninstalled it and forgot about it. It's been quite awhile since that happened, so I figured that they had time to fix all the bugs. I downloaded the app again and was quickly able to upload the pictures directly from my phone. It took about 30 minutes for all of the photos to upload, but be patient. It works. It all depends on how many you upload to print. The more you have, the longer it takes to upload. But, have no fear...they were ready on time in an hour, as promised! read more

4 stars for the always neat and tidy displays. LOVE having something open 24/7 somewhat in the vicinity. Tall black cashier is a great kid. always friendly & helpful. theres a light black young girl on the swing shift that sticks out as a great girl also. other than these 2 the majority of people I've encountered dont seem to pleased to be there. I will say this particular location has the worst mostly non existent clearance section of all the Walgreen locations. prices are pretty high but exception of some decent sales. it's a trade off being one of the very rare 24/7 open spots. read more

The inside is pretty standard. The people are okay not the nicest but definitely not mean. At night it's not the best area to be in. The pharmacy is one of the only 24 hr ones in this area so I end up having to deal with them. I'm diabetic so I prefer 24/7 pharmacies. The pharmacy gives problems to my husband as well but the cvs that we used to go to on PCH and Narbonne is no longer 24hrs, the closest one is in Long Beach and Carson I believe. Anyways the drive thru takes forever! Don't expect to be in and out. read more

I come here all the time. Usually between 5am and 5:30. They are the only place open. I get chips and a soda. Depending on what the sale items are. They have some great sales. Other things are priced higher and you could purchase them somewhere else for less but after midnight those places are closed already. The photo department is great and have used it. You can select you photos you want printed and pick them up in a hour. read more

I had to get cough medicine at 3am. Two CVS stores near my home, posted 24/7. However both were closed wasting my time and fuel. This Walgreens was open, and provided me what I needed. I tested negative for COVID-19, but I had a reaction to my second Moderna booster, 6 days after taking vaccine. I developed a cough, chills, slight fever, headache, and rashes on my face. I had used up my Tussin MD Max & Musinex. My wife developed a a fever and severe cough. Still using cough med 21 days after second booster vaccine. Dr's not sure what it is, but this is spreading to children and adults. I recommend this pharmacy for late night pickup. Friendly employees! read more

This is my favorite location for photos and canvases. I had a canvas framed at this location, and approx 3 to 6 months later it cracked on one side and the warranty expired. Giselle went beyond customer satisfaction by explaining the policy but stated that she would discuss the situation with her manager about repairing at no charge, and would call me with an update. Giselle did exactly what she said she would do. I received a call within 1 hour stating that the manager would make an exception and fix the frame. Additionally, a few hours after that I received another call, the same day, advising that the reframed canvas was ready for pick up. I do not know the manager's name that approved the exception, but I am grateful to Giselle and the manager for their act of kindness. I stopped by yesterday (May 16, 2022) to pick up another canvas order and Giselle helped me once again. She probably didn't remember me from last month but once again her demeanor was professional, she was helpful and kind, and it is apparent that she loves her job! The lady on the phone was very rude. I tried to refill a prescription and the wait was 4-5 hours when I told her that was a long wait she told me that all refills need to be order 1-2 days prior. That is unacceptable what is the difference on filling a new prescription that you can get within a hour. I will take my business somewhere else. Customer Service is HORRIBLE! read more

Hmmm....I've been here several times and don't really understand the overall low ratings given. This location is open 24/7! Has a drive-thru Pharmacy (although I've never used it), plenty of open parking spots, Redbox Movie Rental Machine inside, and it's fairly clean & organized. Upon my last visit, I purchased a passport photo. They offered same day service. In fact, it only took about 10 minutes for my picture to be ready. The guy helping me was nice enough to take several pictures because I'm sooo not photogenic! So far, no complaints I can think of. This is pretty much my go-to Walgreens Store. read more

Horrible customer service. I had written a review before, but now it's gone, so I am writing it again. I won't write as detailed of a review as I had before, but a few things: 1. I saw the manager texting in the back after they told me to wait for 30 minutes for two prepackaged prescriptions. I have NO allergies, on no other meds so no need to check for drug interactions, etc. No one was in line, no one came through the drive through, I barely heard the phone ring as I was waiting, and you obviously have time to text. Oh, and one of them was an antibiotic. 2. I was told to wait and that I would be called from the waiting area when my prescriptions were ready, but when I finally asked about whether or not it was ready, it had been sitting there for a while. 3. Another time, I came through the drive through, and I was told that a prepackaged medrol dose pack would take 50 minutes. What the heck?! Don't you know that a medrol dose pack isn't a chronic medication and it is obviously high priority? 4. When I wrote my last review, the daughter of one of the pharmacists (the one that was particularly rude to me) sent me multiple, LONG messages defending her mother. I suppose that is kind of sweet and naive, but maybe her mother (and other staff at this pharmacy) should learn basic customer service and patient care skills before contacting people. Just sayin'. Verdict: These pharmacists are lacking in clinical judgment/skills, ability to prioritize, and customer service. read more

3 Stars for being 24 hours. I would have only rated it with 2 stars if it wasn't. But they are always under stocked when it comes to their drinks. They also have a very poor drink selection. I walked in last night and there was no good Arizona drinks left. I usually get the green tea, mango or half iced tea and half lemonade drink. I was walking in and she was speaking to her coworkers rudely over the walkie. I came in for a COVID test, I asked the pharmacy and they told me to ask the front counter. I went up and the worker didn't know either, which was understandable... so she calls up vero who came in like a mad bull and she points out rudely the small ass white box in the car corner that didn't even have a price tag or label. I quickly grabbed it so I can leave and not die OR scare anyone in the store when she starts ringing up everyone. I waited another three minutes. Went back in to return it after I read the package was WRONG without opening and of course she continues to be rude while badgering another customer. She gladly told me to call the 1 800 number after I told her to treat customers better. read more
