The employees were incredibly helpful and patient with me. It was pretty much my first time and the smells bombarded my senses and I couldn't differentiate between the scents. They sprayed the little try it cards with the fragrance and I was able to smell them. And they would come back around to see if I needed help with another product. This is the newer location located outside on Del Amo the promenade. The staff here aren't well trained. They keep the doors closed and it keeps all the chemical smells inside the building. Bath and Bath Works is committing highway robbery. I miss the deals. 3 for $21. Now everything is overpriced. Even the trial size or travel size are at least $10 each. I only want the semi yearly sales. Note: you can use paper coupons if you have used the in app coupons. When did that start! The salespeople need more training in customer service. Asking you to punch in your number before you can explain anything. Take your time. It be so many people in the store. Check out what I noticed after my resent purchase at this store! I took advantage of their Semi-annual sale a week ago (Or so I thought. Turns out they took advantage of me! ) After I returned home with my new jar of Body Butter I noticed that Bath and Body Works are giving me 5 ounces LESS of the product but charging me $1.50 MORE!! WTF? Boy...I don't know about you but I'm so SICK of corporations just fucking over their customers whenever they fucking feel like it!!! After this review I will take the time out to email Bath and Body Works and ask for an explanation for charging us MORE, and giving us LESS! Plain and Simple. If they tell me it was to save 100 jobs... Great...so be it, more power to em! But more than likely they will just Ignore my email that surprisingly has happened to me numerous times before from these big, well known brands. Shocking Yes! Came to get the little hand sanitizers. I like them for my office. My daughter and I were looking and smelling them. It was very busy and crowded. A man (tall white guy) was reaching over us to stock. No exaggeration his arm was right in my face. That is so rude to me exspecially from a employee. I left what I was going to purchase because it just did not sit well with me. Come to find out he is management. My purchase wasn't a big one but I can not deal with rude people. Had to leave a review for the most amazing employee here named Julio. He greeted me and my son when I walked into the shop. Then when I started putting items into my shopping bag, he asked me if I had downloaded the B&BW app. When I said no, he proceeded to explain the 20% discount on my purchase if I downloaded it, and he helped me get it onto my phone. So glad he was there because indeed I did get 20% off my order! Then when I left, he ran to open the door for me and my stroller. What a nice gentleman and great employee! It's not like he would get any credit for my download of the app, but he was still so persistent and patient as he really wanted me to get the discount. This review is for the Bath and Body that is located in the newer section of Del Amo Mall. There's lots of construction near this area right now but this place was hopping cause of the 75% off sale. Tons of stuff from the holidays, tons candles, body sprays, lotions, etc... so cheap! I don't live near a mall so every time I come here, it's some new scent, new display, etc... Some of the associates were very proactive and greeted me when I walked in and they were very friendly. Remember the 5-10 (hospitality) rule: acknowledge people from 10 ft, say a nice greeting at 5 ft...dunno if Bath and Body works applies any of this into their daily customer service credos, but they should. The other associates were just blah and did the bare minimum when I asked questions about some items. This one young one, she sighed *LOUDLY* and was face to face with me. It was uncomfortable because wow, I thought she was helpful but eh- the vibes she gave out was she would rather be elsewhere than there. Hey young girl, no worries---I was young once and I used to deal with lots of people...but I used to go above and beyond and not just sigh or think it was torture. I used to love dealing with people, the more the merrier. If retail is not for you, you should work elsewhere! No customer service for you, cause it's really not in your DNA! Yikes! Customer Service is great here, no problems with that. Clerks are friendly and helpful. I'm writing because - stay away from Wall Flowers! They smell great and have a huge variety of plug-ins and fragrances, however they burn up in just about an hour. Seriously, in the time it took me to wash and dry a load of laundry I checked on the wall flower and the bulb was empty. I held it up to the light to double check and yep - bone dry! Such a disappointment because neither the bulbs or the plugins are cheap - $6.50 for the fragrance, like $9.99 for the plug in. Needless to say, I'm returning the rest of the batch...I'm not about to freshen up my room at $6.50 an hour. read more

Well went to bbw today in the mall and it was the semi annual sale. Very disorganized. Product thrown every where. No associates trying to offer assistance. Got to the counter to pay and was told I could not use a coupon as it was a coupon code from an email and was "only to be used online". Final straw bbw. Im done. The formulas have changed and I now break out from the body wash (have used bbw since I was a preteen) Customer service used to be top notch. Not anymore. The customer used to always be right. Five stars for joanne or Jody I think her name was. Middle aged asain lady who quite honestly I think is underpaid. There is no way she is making 100k a year there and that is what this lasts customer service deserves! My husband tried to get out of perusing in there and she even made him laugh and he said he's coming back just to see her! She has a natural tact to lure you in and show you what you want versus trying to show you what they think you want. Very delightful and she should be working in Beverly hills at a commissioned place because she would be best seller. Not only did they help me choose gifts for my mom and sister, but they did an amazing job with some custom wrapping and took the time to be sure I was fully satisfied with the gifts. I had visited their location on black Friday and received excellent customer service during one of the busiest time of the year. The staff was very helpful, new their product locations, and would search the back if it wasn't on the shelves. Well one person stood out the most and it was the store manager, I think her name was Shauna. Anyway, there was a cashier who was getting completely frustrated with a customer over their coupons and large purchases but Shauna stepped in very calmly and did her thing. Gloria had a sour face, made very little eye contact and seemed annoyed that I wanted to use a coupon for two transactions. I needed to spend $40 to get $10 off. She just said, oh you can't use the coupon. Didn't offer to tell me how close I was to using it and didn't offer to help in any way at any time. After I asked how close I was, she said I need $5. I said ok I'll take some pocketbacs. She just stood there. Didn't direct me in any way. She doesn't want to be there. This place is a mess. The staff is rude and inexperienced. I know it's just a lotion shop but sheesh. I was there the other day and had to argue to get a bag!!! A bag! I purchased several items and they tried to shove them in a small plastic bag that was obviously too small. When I asked for a real bag they said "they were short on bags". Everyone around me was getting regular bags. It was such a scene the manager had to intervene and ask the employee to give me a regular bag.
