Without a doubt, the worst pharmacy in terms of wait times for prescription pick-up, inside or the drive-thru. Plus today, after waiting 30 minutes in the drive-thru lane, got up and they said they didn't have my prescription, which had been called in five hours earlier. Then it was run-around, they didn't have record of it being filled in January. I spent way over one hour, and to top that off, pharmacist told me they'd have to contact my doctor; and five minutes later, the pharmacist called MY phone number. Idiots! I went straight to Rite Aide to have all of my prescriptions changed to that pharmacy on Munras/Del Monte Center. It's NEVER crowded and I waited 1 minute to talk to the pharmacist. read more

I hate this Walgreens and every time I go in here I vow never to do it again, but this morning I found myself once again in line in this terrible store. In the last two years I have been in here at least 2 dozen times and not once has it ever been a pleasant or even normal experience. There is always a line of 6 or more people at the register regardless of how many they have open which is rarely more than one and it never fails that the customer checking out has an issue with something not ringing up properly from the clearance section or the cashier holds up the line in one way or another like to check the weekly sale brochure for a special price on this or that instead of just moving the customers along... Once I was in there mid-day and there must have been 15 employees on the floor stocking items with bins and carts all over the place, there are at least 30 customers in the store and they have one cash register open, just one! WTF??? The general consensus of other customers I am standing in line with is that this goes on all the time and is just normal... That's ridiculous. I know it is a prime location and hence it is a busy store, but they certainly could do a lot better if they wanted to. Ironically in contrast to other reviews I have not had any problems with the pharmacy. In fact they have been very helpful the couple times I have used their services, but for me that is not enough to save the stars on this review. read more

Absolutely worst pharmacy I've experienced. Due to power outages I had to take in paper scripts for medications, and they only filled 2 of 3 listed, due to losing one of them. On another occasion they failed to update me regarding a delay on a medication, and also did not reach out to my doctor to fix the issue. I had to reach out to my doctor in regards to the hold, after which the pharmacy called my doctor and claimed I "rejected the medication due to payment issues/ cost". This Walgreens every single month does not have my daughter's medication in stock, I even ask before leaving it if they have it. I was told yes and come back in 4 hours! I went back the next day and the clerk says they don't have it but can order it! I went back again on Friday only to be told again they don't have it but can order it. I have always used this pharmacy for my prescriptions, come to find out on 1/19/19 that a prescription I needed for a surgery the next morning would have to be on a 24 hr hold. They said there was nothing they could do about it, and said how they had just gotten an email from corporate that morning saying that ALL prescriptions for ALL customers would not be available for 24 hrs from now on across ALL Walgreens. The woman behind the counter telling me this seemed like she couldn't care less. I am highly disappointed in Walgreens. I understand there needs to be security measures, but most people can't wait 24 hours to pick up things like flu meds or pain pills. I will be using CVS from now on. Smallish for a Walgreens, it's also somewhat disorganized and dingy. Being open 24 hours is a huge plus. I've gotten a couple of prescriptions filled here. Both times I waited for it to be filled as it only took around 15 minutes, but neither time did they page me over the intercom as they said they would. On the last prescription the consultation did not mention much about side effects or proper use, but instead consisted of the pharmacist telling me that I should use natural remedies instead. I found it very insulting, as he assumed a lot about how the medication would be used and that I hadn't tried any alternatives, and acted like he know better than me and my doctor. I do not plan to ever fill a prescription at this location again. read more

Hard to believe that when I was 18 I worked a fast food drive through and was treated like absolute shit while making minimum wage, but those ABOVE minimum get to meander around. I had the worst experience in their drive thru and would recommend to never ever use this service. I sat in line for 40 min. with about 5 cars ahead of me. Seems no ones order is ready when they get to window as each person is there for about 15 minutes. I finally get to the window and she says its not ready and I would need to come inside and wait longer to get it. Sitting next to me is my mother in her 90's that needs this for a uti who did not get her meds. I was so irate and WILL NEVER GO BACK. I'm sure they are making a ton of money, as she told me they are busy with vaccines, but sorry that is not my problem. I don't normally go there as she gets her meds in the mail. I don't use the pharmacy at any Walgreens, so I can't comment on the experience as everyone else here. Although, I can comment on the shopping experience. Honestly, I can't complain as I found everything with ease. The only thing that bothered me was a few vagrants walking around the outside, but luckily none of them asked for money. The parking is a bit smaller than I'm used to, but this place doesn't seem that popular. And if you're not impressed, I'm almost certain that there is another supermarket down the block. read more

I never have a prescription filled here, I use CVS for that. This store is small and disorganized almost dirty. The only reason I ever stop here is that it is on my way home and it's also open 24 hours. Most of the employees are rude and not very helpful. The only exception is the nice older gentleman. He is always friendly and has a smile. I haven't seen him the last few times that I have been in, I hope he still works there! This location is not worth stopping at except for convince. DO NOT GET YOUR PHOTOS FROM HERE! Printed aN 11x14 photo and when I got home there was a huge white spot in the center. Printed two more photos one 5x7 and 11x14 at midnight (figured it's a slow time so I can pick up later that morning) get there and no photos were printed. I received a confirmation that they were both done @1:41 am yet that was not the case. Edwin was very whatever about it and said "it'll take awhile I'll call you." I have been coming here for 7 years. Out of the blue, because of a clerical error they are no longer supplying me with some very important medications. This happened on a saturday and I have no way of fixing it. Already having severe withdrawels. They offered me no help, and refused to give me an emergency supply of antidepressants. Well I always shop at Walgreens on Fremont Street until today. Ran in to buy some Band-Aids and sitting out front were at least six homeless people. They were rude and panhandling calling out to everyone for money. They did the same thing when I left the store. They were laying on the sidewalk and all around the doors. Well, I have no choice but to continue using this pharmacy, since it is the only one in Seaside that takes my insurance. They recently informed me that they had been giving me THE WRONG MEDICATION FOR 3 MONTHS!!! Seriously?!?! No apology, they didn't even act like it was a big deal!!! Everything on the label was how my Dr. ordered, and they acknowledged that there was no error on her part, but apparently "she could've made it a little more clear"... I have just been transferred to Walgreens as our preferred pharmacy for our insurance. I have a simple question to ask them regarding the incorrect pricing on my RX. They couldn't help me through chat so I had to call them, luckily I'm multi-tasking at work but my phone now says I've been on hold for 34 minutes! That is crazy, when I call CVS they answer very quickly and don't seem to have the same type of issue. So disgusted with the customer service before even talking to anyone. Update, phone answered at 40 minutes, the gentleman I spoke with was very helpful and really pleasant to talk to and worked with me until we resolved my issue. With that said I'm still going to use them as little as possible but that redeemed them one star. read more

This review is for the pharmacy. The staff is overworked and they always seem to be under staffed. The pharmacy tech Long is honestly one of the most rudest people there. According to Raul she works from only works from time to time. Now why would you want a rude employee who can work from time to time? I meant to call corporate about her attitude but Raul asked me not to. I asked them to send my rx to another pharmacy and after almost 3 weeks they haven't sent them. This place is a joke the only reason it survives is because it's the only 24 hour pharmacy in this area and this area has limited options and I think that's why Raul doesn't care how the customers are treated by his staff.
