They have a variety of candles and the owners are always super friendly. Of course, candles are always expensive, and I think these prices are just about the same as you'd get in like Illuminations or something. I think the brand they sell is Illume, which I LOVE. Smells so good, and they actually make your room smell good too. I hate candles that smell good when you put them to your nose, but don't actually permeate the room when you light them. But yea...check out this place if you're ever in Carmel-by-the-sea, which is super cute!

The amazing scents plow you, of course, as you walk in the door, and the shop owner does helpfully point out the little bowls of coffee beans scattered about to help relieve the scent saturations so you can appreciate each candle. Candles in one hand and coffee in the other, and you are armed for shopping! Like many shops, they also featured Halloween displays in late September and no doubt continue this trend for all holidays, so you'll never see the same store twice! All types of candles as well - votives, tapers, standard block candles for arrangements, and many types of holders. Scented, unscented, glittery, melty, round, hexagonal - if you can dream it up, they probably have it here.

You're Killing Me Smalls candle smells warm and amazing. I'm a big candle person and I love for my home to smell warm and cozy. This will do it. 2. Egyptian Amber is sexy. This candle, red wine and some cheese. It's a whole vibe and I love it. 3. Black Raspberry Vanilla smells like I have something delicious baking in the oven. It's perfect. 4. Lavender Vanilla incense. Not overwhelming, very balance and perfect for a nice bath. Bonus: Don't forget to grab the fresh linen room spray. That clean house smell never fails! Absolutely walkable from anywhere you park, of course, and 100% worth the visit even if you don't buy anything! I wish I asked more about the teas and remedies she makes, but she has so many of them targeting any ailment a human could possibly have. I was more interested in her candles (my guilty hoarding pleasure) because I love crystals and their meanings. Her smaller ones in the gold vessels are $52 and larger ones in locally made pottery are at least $150 I believe. Everything she offers is on her website except her beautiful candles since they sell so fast! My friend had her eyes on a pink quartz candle, but I said we can come back right before it closes if she's still thinking about it then. Of course we went back, and she actually fell in love with a different candle! ...and I did too. I first saw one with dominos that looked cool, but when we came back I saw one with a lapis egg.
