Her knowledge is vast and deeply rooted in culture. If you're like me and you are very picky about where you purchase your spiritual goods, this place is THE REAL DEAL and not a place where you find yourself questioning the authenticity of the shopkeeper's spirit and energy. I love how this shop has an essence and acknowledgment of light and dark energies and that which lies between. That gives it a very genuine feel... you won't find that "good vibes only" type of faked energy here. You will find meaningful depth in every nook and cranny you look into in this store. Some of these items feel like they came from another time. There is the most incredible collection of Santa Muerte goods here. Also, the best veladoras preparadas. Good collection of minerals/crystals, smudging herbs, evil eye merchandise, books, string bracelets, bells, curandero oils/herbs/incenses/aguas espirituals, and tarot/oracle cards. Truly one of a kind place and you can easily spend an hour here and not even make it through one full aisle. They even have a gorgeous altar with candles in the back and they have a sweet little dog here also!

The first time they told me children weren't allowed and then, most recently, they told my mother-in-law that they were going on lunch at 3 PM, and the kids had to leave, but then they never closed the store. This unwelcoming attitude doesn't build a strong buy local community. This is discrimination and it should not be tolerated in our downtown Salinas community. It is really disheartening that this kind of behavior is occurring.

Beeswax candles don't leave any residue and it's a natural air purifier. Add essential oils and you've got the best of both worlds. I've tried the candles, candle melts and the lotions and I've loved them all. Everything smells soo nice in this store! The candles last a long time but the candle melts last almost forever. I actually left some samples of candle melts in my car once and it had melted because it was so hot out, but good thing it was still in a plastic bag so it was fine. But it made my car smell soooo nice! I even forgot what that sample was but it smells like honey and some yummy goodness! So I got a little container and used that for my car freshener. It's way better than using those chemical laden car fresheners. Everyone who rides in my car tells me how amazing my car smells. It's been over a year and I still have it. I've been needing some more candles at home and so I checked if they were open. I ordered some online and sent an email because they offer free delivery if you're in Hollister. After I checked out online, I received them in less than an hour! I love it! And they wrap everything up like it's a present! I love the product and the service! What more can you ask for?
