I love the whole store, especially their pharmacy! Always friendly service and courteous staff!

The worst customer service. Either there is someone that talks like she is 4 years old. Or there are 3 people that are tossing a customer between multiple lines. Been on hold for 10 minutes to only be told "hold on" yet again. Ridiculous! read more

If I could give this location no stars I would. The pharmacy department is managed horribly without any care about patients. The counter ladies are horrible with customers and care more about their looks rather than customer experience. Need a new pharmacy manager in this location. read more

Definitely sketch people about here at night, random bike by swearing and whatnot. Could have been a one off, but very strange. But, if you need something, first aid kit, shoes, snacks, this is a good place to stop. I found some flip flops for 2.99, just what I needed. read more

Terrible pharmacy services, except for Sara and the gentlemen who were there this past Saturday who repeatedly called for management help (to which no one responded even though there was very little activity in the drugstore - except for at the Pharmacy counter). I was there the Saturday before, and the line and service again were horrible. Sara was there and doing the best she could to serve people. The other female, it was either Sage or Julia, left the counter to "go help someone in Photo." The person in Photo told her it was a mistake and that she didn't need help. The person Sage or Julia, never returned to the Pharmacy despite the line, she just roamed around the store. I was inline for almost a half hour waiting for my medicines. I called the store afterwards (on Saturday or Sunday 10/20 or 21) and was referred to the male "manager" who told me the person was either Sage or Julia. As a "manager" he could not have cared less. I called last week to order a new prescription. The female who answered the phone told me it would be ready the next day. It wasn't. She didn't even put in the order. I called a couple of days later and received Sara on the telephone. She confirmed nothing had been done on my prescription and filled it for me so that I could receive it the next day - several days following my wasted telephone call and time w/the other useless Pharmacy person. Wow, can't believe you rated a store at one star just because of their operating hours. If you need drugs after 11, you may need to look into that problem. Why not actually try rating the store on a matter of substance rather than your personal problems? I believe Walgreens carries sleep aids. The staff at this location are friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. I've noticed customers behaving like rude, spoiled children, however. Some requests are unreasonable! It's a chain-store with corporate-wide policies and no the customer isn't always right. In fact, your insistence on being right holds up the lines and makes all the other customers wait while the employees try their best to appease your silly requests while not putting their jobs in jeopardy. Thanks for being a considerate human being, jerks! I've worked retail. It can be a nightmare. Think of the most obnoxious situation you've dealt with at work, then imagine that happening 25 times an hour, every hour. That's working in retail. Next time a store clerk or other employee goes out of his/her way to check on something for you or find an answer, thank them, please. Even if they don't have the product in stock or the price you want or a magic wand to fulfill your every, insane, unreasonable whim. It's not that person's fault. They are guppies trying to survive in a corporate ocean. Moral: tip your waiters, thank your clerks, be courteous of the other customers, and have realistic expectations. This Walgreens isn't perfect, but it's a down-economy, every place is cutting a lot of corners. I'd definitely recommend this store to others. read more

This pharmacy always takes a minimum 45 minutes even when your picking up something that's already been called in plus they are rarely stocked in syringes even when I have called days prior. Needless to say we have already switched to the Safeway pharmacy. read more

Consistently terrible service here. The girl at the counter literally has no idea what she's doing. The rest of the employees are not even remotely helpful either. Instead of bringing more cashiers to the front when there is a line (which is pretty much always) they just tell people to go over to the photo counter. Conveniently for them, there is almost never anyone over there to help. There are plenty of other convenience stores in this area, don't go to this Walgreens. read more

They fill prescriptions incredibly slow. I have never had a prescription ready in the amount of time I was told, even when it was only 10 pills total. The cashier also made me wait an extra 30 minutes after I had gotten the text that my prescription was ready to be picked up because she thought my name was someone else. I told her i got the text, she said it's not ready yet. She called the other persons name and looked at me so I told her that isn't me. She then rang me up for a different persons prescription after figuring out she messed up and processed it through to where I saw the full name and medication, which is a HIPPA violation. She also never checked my ID and didn't offer me a consultation with the pharmacist for my brand new prescription which is a STARS violation. read more

I go to Walgreen's mostly for prescriptions (of which I have many), and their pharmacy department is horrible. You can stand in line, for ten minutes, STARING at them while three or four pharmacy techs flit about ignoring you completely. I have never waited in line here fewer than 10 minutes. Once they get around to helping you they seem nice enough but the ridiculous wait time always leaves me so angry that I can't muster any civility. If I didn't live so close, I absolutely would not patronize this pharmacy. read more

The photo service is okayish at best. We ordered 40 cards online for pickup. We took them home same day only to discover that over 10% of cards had printing error on them. Called in for replacement, and they had it done same day but this caused a 2nd trip that could have been easily avoided if they looked at what comes out of the machine before handing it the customer. I guess quality control is my job when I pick up my order...Plus on the phone photo tech asked me If I was "sure" that there was a mistake. Now why would you ask such a question?? I will try target next time, they must have better service than this. read more

When you have a baby with epilepsy, a good and reliable pharmacist is suddenly very important. They take really really good care of us here. When we had the perfect storm of events that left us without medication last Saturday night, the pharmacists stayed late to get us an emergency supply. Then they got a hold of our neurologist even before I could Monday morning to get an early refill approved. I wish this had been our first incident with needed medication asap. We also took an unexpected road trip & had no medication on us, so Walgreens called down to Carmel and arranged for a pharmacist to be there 3 hours after closing so that our baby wouldn't risk being without. I am SO grateful for Walgreens. Hands down the BEST pharmacy chain around! read more

Pharmacy on North Main St is still horrible. One hour wait in line to pick up a prescription that was READY at 10 PM. I get home, and am missing one. Call Pharmacy and am on hold for 30 minutes just trying to find out what the problem is. Pure craziness. read more

Can't rate a drug store above one star if they close before 11. Times have changed, the only worthwhile reason to go to a drug store these days is for quick late night needs. Without the late night, all of their business is lost to Safeway and everyone else that has caught on to when people want drug store supplies. If you want the best prices on pharmacy medication, and you don't mind shopping during work and dinner hours, stick with medicine shops, they're always better. Basically, while 10 is "getting there," it is still way to early for me to consider "convenient." Rating is therefore stuck at 1 star, no matter how the store it's self is. This is all due to the category this store falls in. read more

I stop by this Walgreens at least once a week. There are a handful of really nice and helpful employees in all the various departments - register, photo, pharmacy. I think their pharmacy has the latest hours for those around this area, which helps when you have a sick little one at night. They are great with returns. Glad I live nearby this one. read more

The pharmacy is terrible. Long lines and wait times. It has taken them anywhere from several hours to a few days to fill simple prescriptions. Even after giving them ample time, i spend a while in line and when i finally get to the front, I'm told to wait 15 more minutes which turns into an hour...disappointing as the location is convenient. read more

I have been going to this pharmacy for a number of years. At first, they were great, but in recent months they have made some pretty significant mistakes on my wife's prescriptions. First they gave her aspirin instead of the drug the doctor ordered because the pills looked similar. And finally, they did not read a new prescription correctly and filed it away because they thought is was a duplicate. They did not call us to check or notify us what they were doing. They then blamed it on our doctor, who assured us that he had made the change clearly in his new prescription. We called back and one of the pharmacist's found the mistake. This delayed my wife's medication, which she was running out of for another two days. Going to move our prescriptions to another pharmacy. read more

Once again walgreens in pleasant hill is just TERRIBLE. Tonight the line was long as usual (20 minutes) and then a half hour wait for a prescription that had been called in much earlier to finally have them tell me that they couldn't understand the prescription and now the doctor s office was closed and they were confused. No dought. They are very incompetent. What are you thinking Walgreens??? What is going through your heads???? Hellllllloooooo????? Why are you so insensitive to sick people????? read more

My son goes to school nearby so this place has always been somewhat convenient to stop by and grab a few things. Even considered transferring my RX's here. After my second BAD experience here I'm not even sure I'll be coming here to pick up the basics anymore. Had to pick up some cold medicine and waited in line at the pharmacy while the pharmacy tech "helped" someone for a good 20mins or more. The lady/customer apparently screwed up calling the RX in and without helping anyone else in line the tech went ahead and filled the RX while the rest of us waited and waited. The other tech was glued to the phone the whole time and didn't offer to check anyone out either. I wasn't even there to get an RX...Just needed that regulated cold medicine that they keep behind the counter. Then when it comes to show your driver's license the tech has to hand type every little detail into the computer. All the other pharmacies I've used in the past would just scan your license and you're good to go. Needless to say this place wasn't really customer centered at all...20mins of NO ONE checking anyone out at the register is pretty unacceptable for me. I've requested a pair of headphones through the glass case and since the manager was just too snooty to open the case he said he'd find someone to open it for me...No one ever showed...I assure you just by looking at the manager's expression you can tell he really HATES his job...Sorry Walgreens...I used to LOVE Walgreens but, am glad I've stuck with CVS over the years...They do close earlier than some drug stores but, I think anyone needing to pick up drugs after 10 has bigger issues... read more

I visit this store frequently to collect medicine for my mother. I prefer them because the staff is motivated and courteous, especially the pharmacy staff who are caring and go out of their way to help get you all medication in time. They have this warm & welcoming atmosphere of a typical neighborhood store, that keeps you going back. read more

I have used this pharmacy more than one year. I phone in my prescription and come in to pick it up. It is always a long wait while you watch the pharmacists talk on the phone and play with their computers - perhaps they are working, but they need to give priority to the on-site customers. Today was the last straw: the pharmacy is advertised to be open from 10 to 6, so I made a special trip at 1:30 pm to pick up my prescription only to find a "closed for lunch" sign with an illegible magic marker scribble in the "closed until" box. Tomorrow I will be changing my subscription to CVS. read more

For everybody about the pharmacy, yeah maybe but this walgreens is great. I go here pratically everyday with my friends to buy candy or whatever and the workers here are completely tolerant about my friends being loud everyone in a while. The workers are great, and the prices are crazy good. read more

The people here are nice and helpful. I used to go here all the time before and after high school classes. It was great to come here and get quick snacks and drinks. This store is clean and organized, and there is usually a lot of parking. read more

This is my local Walgreens, and I am incredibly disappointed with the service I recently received at their pharmacy. My son was very sick with strep throat, we had come directly from urgent care to this Walgreens pharmacy at 8:40p.m., who's posted hours were open until 9pm. There were maybe two people shopping in the store who MIGHT have been waiting for their prescriptions. I was told by the pharmacist that she could (or would) not take my son's Rx because she had other people waiting and they were closing. What kind of customer service is this? You can plainly see a sick son with his frazzled mom out on a rainy night in need of a little human decency. As a person who works in customer service, I can't imagine turning someone away during operating hours because I want to punch the clock and leave as soon as the store closes. I will NOT be using this pharmacy in the future. What a disappointment. read more
