Today a pharmacy employee went out of her way to help me find a location that had my prescription since this site was out of stock. She was able to do this while 3 other customers were chewing out the pharmacy techs, and it's embarrassing to see how unhinged people can get over a wait time. Has every experience I've had been smooth sailing? Are my prescriptions always in stock? No to both, but the staff are professional while overwhelmed with work but still doing their best everytime. Let me suggest how to run a pharmacy efficiently... you have 3 computers. You have 7 people working behind the counter. You have over 10 people in line. 1 of the 7 people working are at a computer. That one person is also searching for prescriptions as each customer comes up. Try this - put at least two people at the computers, and have another person being a "runner" grabbing the prescriptions as the people on the computer request them for customers. read more

The Pharmacy rarely answers the phone. They put you on hold for 7-10 mins, pick up then rehold you.Then after the same time frame they pickup & hang up. They ignore script trasnfers , they ask you to fill there this 1 time for eases and then they will transfer. I am literally being told this right now as I am on the phone with their pharmacist. The items on sale are not properly labeled. It's much cheaper to shop at CVS because the prices are lower and more discounts/rewards are given to regular customers. There's always a long line at the counter and some cashiers don't know what they're doing. Do not recommend. read more

Seems the reviews are on point for this location. Staff does very little to help resolve issues and their best advice is to go somewhere else. I did a rx transfer and they didn't even attempt to assist just tell me it wasn't there even though I had an email confirmation. Placed me on hold mid conversation and proceeded to then pick-up and place me back on hold without a word. Pretty useless location unless your Rx requires no effort. read more

Phones are ALWAYS on hold because they don't want to answer calls while they "work". Understaffed, small operation, rushed, rude, high rate of turnover, which means employees are burning out and leaving. No surprise because they always seem like they HATE their job, and it shows the way they treat you with a uncompassionate dismissive attitude. Meds "out of stock" on a random basis, even though we get the same meds every single month for years. Worse of all, they occasionally override the doctor's written prescription!!! Phone wait on this phone tree is horrible up to an hour wait constantly no matter what day. On the chance you get a hold of somebody they appear incompetent on how to pull your profile and keep your prescription together in one piece I had a prescription that had three products on it they broke the prescription up and only gave two of them now being disabled I needed somebody to pick it up for me and they've only brought back two of the three with no reasons why they wouldn't give it to them? When trying to call back their excuse was temporary pharmacist as a floater didn't want to talk on the phone because they were busy doing other customers which is understandable but when you wait 50 minutes plus another 15 minutes to talk to the pharmacist you think they would give you a little bit of the time to make sure how to correct the problem this store is terrible even the front end manager doesn't know how to return calls or have a voicemail system?.! I don't know how to get the word out is letting corporate know the problem because they just send you back to the local store manager to fix the problem we need to be more proactive against these conglomerates that think they can't be touched because we're just the individual customer client however you want to call it?. They just seem that they're Untouchable and they can treat us any way they want to stand your ground people get these reviews in call corporates and let them know if you're being mistreated as I am. read more

This Walgreens is the worst pharmacy! This location can't get it together. If you need to get your new prescriptions or have them filled, go elsewhere. You will easily wait 30 minutes and there's constantly a line. Oddly, they are "always" out of stock even though you get notified it's ready for pick up. It's quite unfortunate. I just wanted to chime in and give a pharmacy staff named Miretten some love because I spoke with her one evening and she was extremely helpful. I am an RN and was calling her about a prescription my patient thought was at this pharmacy, but apparently it was out of stock. When Miretten confirmed that they didn't have that medication there, she offered to call another pharmacy for me and ask if they had it. You rarely run into people who are willing to do things like this for you, especially at busy pharmacies! Miretten is a great example of going above and beyond and she deserves recognition for this! read more

The pharmacist and techs work very hard with the amount of patients they see everyday especially since Rite Aid closed. Yes, sometimes there's a line and we have to wait, but people wouldn't complain if it was Starbucks line as much. read more

There's something very wrong with this pharmacy. After months of dealing with "out of stock" prescriptions and being forced to call them multiple times for updates every month only to be told they had it, I got fed up and chose a different Walgreens pharmacy nearby. The new location has no problems. When something was out of stock, the new location updated me immediately on the app and I picked it up within days. No phone calls needed, no misinformation or lack of information etc.. Besides these issues, this location on Gregory has a significant lack of privacy with employees who loudly repeat the name of what you are picking up which is very unprofessional. One employee actually hung up the phone on me when I expressed my frustration with their communication telling him maybe I should try CVS. No other words for me, he just slammed the phone down. I'm glad to be done with this location and that it seems to be more of an individual store issue than Walgreens as a whole. read more

This Walgreens store is okay for someone who lives nearby. The store has products on the shelves, and the staff is nice. But the pharmacy service is slow, and has been a problem for about five years. It usually takes two visits to get two of the same prescriptions that are automatically renewed every 90 days. The wait line can take 20 minutes or more. Pharmacy staff turnover seems frequent. read more

Do yourself a favor do not fill your prescriptions at this location. They are completely understaffed, will tell you constantly in a firm voice how busy they are when you contact them and medicine is often late. This Walgreens is great for its basic needs!! I never half even a percentage of issues that ppl have here I live down the street so this place is really convenient for me All the workers are so great and kind. Pharmacist Michael Yang is so great. So is all the helpers that work back there. Many ppl don't understand how stressful it is to be back there. Most of the time, they're just trying to get your medicine as fast as they can. I can see M.Yang running around stressed trying to fill what they can. I try to be pretty patient or try to come when they're the least busiest so I don't waste time waiting around. I've been coming to this store since it opened 30 years ago. Sadly, the pharmacy has become a chaotic mess. Consistently, refills are not ready when promised--repeatedly. E.g., two 90-day auto refills were delayed for 3 weeks, then CANCELLED by the system for no apparent reason. It took two visits and two days to finally get them refilled. There was no explanation or apology for any of the delay or inconvenience to me. Looks like Walgreens will soon go the way of CVS and start closing stores, if the pharmacy performance is any indication. Another Covid toll? I will be going else where for sure. read more

This pharmacy is broken. Someone who works there is totally incompetent or management is completely failing in staffing. It takes almost a week to fill a prescription there if they do it at all. I always have an amazing experience here. The staff is always polite and welcoming. Today in particular, Mohammad helped us at the photos counter, and his service was exceptional. I had ordered photos to be printed and bought some gum, Mohammad automatically scanned a coupon for us, that saved us $$. This rating is specifically for Michael the Pharmacist and Pharmacy Manager (and his wonderful tech staff): My husband and I have used this pharmacy for the past 4 years, and always have a wonderful, personalized experience. Michael always remembers who we are, even on the phone, and takes such care to ask how we are no matter how much he is running around. The technician staff are equally as pleasant, despite the many cranky, nasty customers I've heard over the years. Yes, I really hope that Walgreens considers spending more money on helping them increase the number of staff to reduce the line/ wait times... but that's corporate greed for you. May be that the store would get a 3, however, the older large female cashier who resembles the lead singer of Twisted Sister has to be the most rude and unfriendly person I've ever encountered in customer service. This store is super close to me so we were frequent customers for the basics. However, after the third visit in a row where this lady was beyond rude, I'll never be back. This store already has horrible staffing but the people have always been nice. Not sure if this lady is mistaking me for someone else but she killed my business there. Danielle the pharmacy tech is the worst. I came in a few times the past two weeks because my family and I got sick and we needed to pick up some meds from here. It was my first time picking up from here, so they didn't have my information on file. That's fine, so I made sure to bring my health insurance info- group #, ID #, along with my license, etc., She threw this hissy fit at me because rather than bring in my physical card, I logged into my healthcare's website on my phone and pulled up my digital card. She kept saying she needed to see my physical card, and I asked why. I asked her what information would be so drastically different on the physical card versus online, and she kept snapping at me that she would only accept the physical copy. I understand that the days I happened to go to Walgreens, they were pretty packed. We waited maybe 40 minutes for two people in front of us, which was fine. When we were up at the counter and were asking what difference a physical and digital card made, Danielle suddenly made this announcement, "Everyone, I just wanted to thank you all and say I appreciate your patience while dealing with people today." It was completely out of left field and incredibly rude. The only reason I came here is because the pharmacy I usually go to was out of the meds we needed and they said this was the closest alternative to where I live. This Walgreens is right down the street from my work, and the location is so convenient! There's a large, open and spacious parking lot, and lots of it is right up front by the door! Inside is also pretty large. It's one of the nicer locations I've been to; everything is neat and tidy and organized! I love that they have a large food section because it's a hassle to go to Safeway on my lunch. This place is much closer. Line can move pretty slowly, but since this place is so close, I'm never in a hurry when I come here. They always have what I want/need when I venture over here. read more

She does not belong in the customer service world, she doesn't acknowledge you or tells you the total or asks if you would like a bag none of that! She is just rude pushes your groceries away and when I let her know she wasn't very nice she then decided to go off and call me a despiteful woman and how I shouldn't even be allowed to breathe! This Walgreens has a nice exterior and easy in/out access to the parking lot. The interior is always clean and it's easy to navigate through the aisles. Employees are helpful and friendly and it feels more like a neighborhood store rather than a chain. I've found that they are well stocked with items that I need that I cannot find at other Walgreens stores. Plus, there is always parking available right in front of the store. read more
