This pharmacy may be smaller, but it's packed with genuinely wonderful people. One thing I've learned is that we, as patients, sometimes need a little patience too. The pharmacists don't make the rules--the insurance companies and government do. And let's be honest... the insurance companies seem to excel at making life unnecessarily complicated. (Looking directly at you, Aetna. ) What I really appreciate is that the pharmacists and staff actually try to help. If there's a coupon, a discount program, or a more affordable option, they'll often suggest it before you accidentally have to sell your firstborn just to afford a 30-day supply. Using prescription coupons isn't being cheap--it's being smart. I've also learned that not every delay or refill issue is the pharmacy's fault. Sometimes your doctor needs to update a prescription, review your medications, or catch a potential drug interaction before they can legally fill it. As frustrating as that can be, I'd much rather have a pharmacist preventing me from becoming a zombie than simply handing over a bottle and wishing me luck. The staff has always been kind, helpful, and genuinely interested in making sure I get the medications I need safely and at the best price possible. I'm really glad I moved all my prescriptions here, and I honestly wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Instead of politely informing me of the mistake, the attendant abruptly wedged herself between me and the register and announced, "You picked the wrong one," in front of everyone waiting in line. It was embarrassing and made me feel as though I had done something dishonest when it was simply an innocent mistake. Customer service is about treating people with respect, and there are far more professional ways to handle situations like this. I understand mistakes happen at self-checkout, but there was no need for the attitude or public embarrassment. In my experience, this employee is rarely friendly, never smiles, and consistently comes across as unapproachable. I enjoy shopping at this store, but I will be avoiding the self-checkout whenever she is working.

Through the phone, I can tell how much more personable, caring, & concerned they were when it came to handling a recurring issue I had with locating/linking my insurance to my account. This was a complete 180 with how they handled this situation the 1st time vs. the multiple opportunities Walgreens had (put on hold for a really long time/long wait times/constant follow ups to see if & when my prescription was ready/repeatedly explaining the same issue with my insurance status, etc.). Anyways, wished I had switched sooner to Ralph's after now knowing how awesome their service is & feeling reassured in their ability to look into & resolving my problem! My family has been using this pharmacy for years. Their pick-up process is very efficient. The staff at the front are kind and helpful, and they have several people working behind the counter to sort inventory and make sure everything runs smoothly. They sometimes offer delivery services, which has been a big help on busy days. While they carry a selection of over-the-counter products like Solstice products, Tiger Balm, Cetaphil, and Vaseline, I do find that these items tend to be more expensive than at other stores, so I usually prefer to purchase them elsewhere.
