He wanted to check it out since the one by our church had closed down and we hadn't stopped by one in a while. She forced me to repeat myself multiple times and essentially made me yell out the specific medication I needed in a public space, which felt like a massive violation of my privacy. Even after I went and sat down to speak directly with the original pharmacist to sort out the issue, Gaby continued trying to shout things or talk over to me across the room. The pharmacist's excellent customer service AFTER HER was completely overshadowed by Gaby's unprofessionalism and total lack of discretion. I hope management addresses her behavior. Thank you again to the lady after, and I apologize for my part in the matter.

Tons of people have visited it over the generations, and it's one of the landmark history spots of Los Angeles, and is a must-see stop if you are a Route 66 history fan. Parking in the area can be a bit difficult; however, it's not hard to find metered street parking in front or the paid parking lot across the street. Inside is really cool and preserved as if it is in the 1950s. In the back, they have a fully functional and working pharmacy, and in the front is a merchandise area, a little bodega, and a full service soda bar and milkshake station. The attendant behind the counter was extremely polite, and I tried a Cherry Soda, which I thought was great, and I wanted to get a banana milkshake; however, they were out, so I chose Funfetti Milkshake and enjoyed it very much. It was a great sweet treat on a warm day, and I would highly suggest to anyone to stop in for the history alone. It's also well known in many movies and TV shows, so if you are a filming location fan, it's also a must visit. I would highly recommend and will be back again in the future.

Today I just happened to be driving by for work and I decided to stop in and buy something. Before I stopped I checked to make sure they were open and it said they open at 9 am (it was 10:51) so I went it and instantly someone asked me if I was getting a prescription, I said no and they immediately told me "in that case we're closed, come back at 11:30" I said but you open at..... and they interrupted with "we open at 11:30 come back then". If an establishment makes you jump through hoops just so you can buy from them, then it's not worth going. It's sad to think I may never be able to shop here again just because they make it so hard. What a shame that I might have to buy what I wanted online, and that's how brick and mortar shops die.

I thought that maybe CVS was downstairs or nearby... It turned out that CVS was a vendor inside of Target - it's similar to how Starbucks is a vendor inside of Target! Darn!
