Every single time I shop here, the store has been filled with numerous homeless individuals loitering throughout the aisles, many without shoes and some with visible open wounds actively infected and leaking fluids. Shopping for groceries in this environment feels unsanitary and unsafe, especially when selecting food items that I'll be taking home to eat. Homeless people demanding I buy them things and getting mad when I decline makes shopping extremely uncomfortable. It's disappointing that management doesn't address this issue more effectively to maintain a clean and hygienic space for paying customers. I won't be returning. read more

Ralphs markets have really gone to the bottom of hill in recent years. Their produce is frequently mis-priced or no price tags at all. A box of blueberries marked at $2.99 on sale ended up being $6.99. When I told one of the staff stocking fruits about the pricing mistake he simply ignored me. They also frequently run out of the terrible "environmental friendly" bags in produce. Their inventory is also a mess. Shelves are disorganized and many products are missing. The staff also seem morose. While they will assist when asked none seem eager to help. I overheard one employee at the self checkout area being super condescending to the customer who asked for assistance. I went to Vons afterwards and what a difference. read more

Out of the 3 Ralph's here in Pasadena, this is definitely my favorite. Parking is better than the other two (except around the end of the year, in which they start setting up the bleachers for the Rose Parade (this one is on Colorado Ave.)). Minor grievance, but this is the only Ralph's in Pasadena that doesn't sell Hershey's Cookies 'n' Creme candy bars individually in the checkout aisles, other than that, the discounts are great, the produce is fresh, the layout is fantastic, the bathrooms are kept clean, the sushi and nigiri by the prepared food counter is pretty good. 10/10 location. read more

They had exactly what we were looking for, a deli. Luckily there was no waiting in line to order a sandwich. We ordered all veggie sandwich with all the fixing and it ended up tasting pretty good. I occasionally use this location to buy some groceries. This morning I wanted to use a coupon for pizza and the manager gave me attitude claiming I already used the coupon and that I wouldn't be able to redeem it again. It seems like they don't know how to read as the offer was available to make the coupon valid for more of the same product. This guy Ron is very nice to other customers but me. No idea what I did to him as I'm just a regular customer and want my shopping done smoothly without any hassle. Several people in the area, including myself, have noticed under stock, not enough supplies, And false advertisement. They offer to fry your fish for free. However, for two weeks the fish fryer is NOT working no matter what time you go to the store. It's always, "it will be ready in an hour!" Customer service in that department are very rude. read more

This is a wonderful Ralph's, clean and has a wide variety of products. They have self checkout, groceries, and everything your local Ralph's should have. I did take off one star because of the cramped aisles which many reviews have mentioned but I honestly didn't find it to be that big a problem. The parking is plentiful and the employees are kind and gracious. Someone even greeted me at the entrance. However, the one thing that did make this Ralph's stand out to me was the fact that they had the Snyders pretzel rounds I have been searching for for almost half a year. These things are absolutely amazing, they are fluffy and crispy and melt in your mouth. I have scoured every Ralph's for these to no avail so when I found these, I was ELATED. Otherwise, I bought some spicy tuna sushi which was great albeit a little hard to find because of store layout, some slices of cake, and some snacks. All the groceries were great and I definitely recommend this Ralph's. Such a blessing that I found one of my all time favorite snacks here :D read more

Even though the Rose Bowl is being played in Texas, this is still one of the best Ralphs in the area. Their store is well stocked and has an excellent meat department. Because of its location, it get's a lot of their business from the Rose parade, and rightly so. I'm starting to come here more often, looking for specials and quality goods to bring home. read more

December 2022 Just a hard no on this store. Why? Thanks for asking: the staff is the most miserable, poorly informed, unhappy group you'll ever run across. For example: ask if there is someone to help you to the car. Before you buy, the answer is a cheery YES. Once you've paid, YES becomes BLEEP NO. Seriously, this happened. Another incident of an elderly Asian couple attempting to ask something to the store manager in broken English at the checkout. He was short and condescending to them, didn't help them at all, although a few minutes before this he was having a lengthy nice, casual conversation with a Spanish speaking customer - not caring that a line of customers was growing behind them. I don't live in the area so I only come sporadically to this Ralph's. I've always liked it and they have a great deli with good workers! Well today I desperately needed $20 in change for a local book sale I was helping with (but the change hadn't arrive for cash customer.) Mirian, the manager, immediately goes into action trying to see how much change she can get me (I paid for it.) She checked with the cashiers and ran to the deli to see what they had. She was able to get me $16 in changed!!! Mirian went above and beyond!! Honestly, she was remarkable!!! And the thing is, Mirian was just being genuine, she just wanted to help me out!!! An older Ralphs - narrow aisles, limited selection/stock, just a small building in general. I used to like that they had express lanes, but those were removed a couple years ago so they can get customers to check out and bag their own groceries - one less cashier to pay! :D I really don't get the door to the bakery case, it just falls open when you shut it which doesn't work out great for the contents. During Covid they had items in individual bags which kept them from petrifying in 6 hours - I could stop by in the evening and get buns that didn't have the texture of lava rocks! I only come here for the flowers and I probably won't even come for that anymore. The employees and sometimes certain "self entitled" customers put off a really obvious racist vibe. I've probably shopped at this location like 25 times in the last 2 years but today I was really angered by a customer and the cashier. Reading over the yelp reviews I can see management doesn't care for paying customers of color. I thought only I experienced this. I've lived half a mile away for 11 years and it's odd to feel this way inside of a Ralph's of all places. This community is so diverse and i had never thought I'd experience this in Pasadena. The issue here like I've experienced 3 other times was me waiting in line patiently and the employees opening a new lane for the apparent white Caucasian middle aged person behind me. Oh, my gosh! This Ralphs is a lifesaver. I live in Highland Park and had been using the online ordering featuring at the Vons in Eagle Rock. Every order they make a mistake, and finally I lost my patience. They failed to deliver on a promised time, never notified me that they didn't have it ready, made me wait for 20 minutes, and then Yesena couldn't bring her self to say, "I'm sorry." (This is an unfortunate trend I've noticed these days.) I turned to the closest Ralphs to get my order. The exact same order was $12 cheaper at Ralphs ($51 vs. $63 at Vons). But the customer service at Ralphs is incredible. The staff is so friendly and efficient. They had 100% of my requested items in stock -- something that NEVER happened at Vons. They were running behind that day and called me 2 hours before my order was due to talk to me about alternatives. I've placed 2 orders since and I love it! I came in last night to get a few things, I come quite a bit since I live close! All I can say is Im beyond insulted, the worst visit ever. I was in the soap aisle and can the security guy make it any more obvious, apparently he thought I was gonna steal, he stood in the same aisle with me acting and pretending like he was looking at something, I'm not stupid it was so obvious! I have $ I don't need to steal shit! When I was checking out he saw me pay, I guess that blew his mind that I wasn't gonna steal anything. As an über driver, I have to express my gratitude to this particular Ralph's location for allowing me to camp out here for the rose bowl to catch that 100 dollar fare after the game. Really appreciated it. Would also recommend to other uber driver's to use this place too as you're strategically placed for those rose bowl rides. read more

Absolutely terrible, disorganized and outright rude pickup service. Website computer was down when I logged on to alert Ralphs that I'd be there in 20 minutes. So called one number in my contacts and nice voice said "I'll let them know." Parked in my usual slot. Waited 15 minutes. Called another number in my contacts and man said "I'll let them know." Waited more. Another car drove up and parked beside me. Soon their order was wheeled out. Pronto. I got out and said "I've been waiting 20 minutes!". Ralphs employee shouts(!) back "Hey! I've got other orders!" And snarls "I don't need the attitude!" So Ieft. What a miserable, unpleasant pointless waste of time thanks to Ralphs. Friends: Stay away. This Ralphs is a hop, skip and jump away from work, so I end up here constantly. Either for breakfast items for the team, quick lunch from the deli or full blown grocery shopping. DELI - The deli is great! Located to the left of the entrance near Colorado. Most items are very reasonably priced. They offer made to order sandwiches, pre-wrapped sandwiches, tuna and chicken salads, fried chicken meals, organic salad bar and other goodies. My go to is the made to order sandwiches. They use Boar's Head meats and cheeses, fresh bread, fresh veggies and your choice of spreads. I love getting the roast beef with swiss on multigrain. The sandwiches are large and filled to the brim. For $7 bucks, it's a steal!! Another item I love is the chicken salad. I like ordering a small portion of this and picking up a package of pretzels as a light lunch. Also, if you ever walk by the deli and smell the tomato bisque soup.... MMMMM it is the BEST soup you will ever have... A 16 oz cup is $4. So worth it, especially on those cool days. As for the overpriced sushi, I'd rather go to a sushi restaurant. I haven't tried the sushi from the deli but I do have to say they always have a sushi chef making fresh items. STORE - This grocery store is very clean and well stocked. The aisles are clearly marked and organized. They offer delivery within 2 hrs for a charge. I haven't used this, but I bet it will come in very handy. They have a big parking lot and usually isn't too full. I haven't had any trouble finding parking. Totally recommended! read more

This place had it covered from top to bottom. They had full staff full deli service full hot prep. You know things they run out of at dinner time. They had rotisserie chicken pasta dishes like Mack and cheese Mac salad full sandwich trays. I mean com on people they had the full coffee bar and all the staff was so nice. Never one to deny a fair assessment, I just wanted to put it out there that the deli staff at this location are always on point and their fried chicken to go made me a believer !! I often come here on a tight lunch schedule and usually make a bee line straight to the deli. The fried and roasted chicken is always moist, flavorful and reasonable priced. I've had fried chicken that's priced three to four times as much at a few toney restaurants on south Lake Ave and elsewhere that did not match the flavor and/or consistency of regular old generic great tasting fried/roasted chicken. Make a run down there and pick up some of that Yard Bird' to go. And don't forget some of the tasty sides they have to offer. read more

My favorite Ralph's. Service is always fast- lines move very quickly. Staff is always very attentive, helpful, and kind. A particular employee Tatiana has always been friendly + attentive when I need assistance finding anything. Ralph's isn't the cheapest grocery store but they have decent prices and good vegetable/fruit selection. Parking is ample. They do have a homeless issue- there are always individuals outside asking for help. It's sad, I wish I could help everyone but unfortunately I can't. This Ralph's is usually well stocked with items and clean. The store itself is a decent size but perfect for everything you need. I really like how this location carriers plenty of organic options. Inside the store is cold though, so if you get cold easily like I do wear a sweater. read more

A lot of old people shop here including my 95 year old mom, who i take here weekly. There are never enough cashiers available to service the lines because they are trying to get everyone to use machines to check out. Doesn't work for older folks and it is very hard for them to stand in line for 20 minutes. read more
