Look it's a waffle house so I don't put high expectations on the cleanliness of the place or it's patrons. We went early enough in the evening that the patrons weren't your "typical" Waffle House crowd. Mostly just older folks when we went. So for tidiness of the place yeah we will just say it's a waffle house. Now our waitress was an absolute Rockstar. They only had one waitress and one cook but those two ladies were moving right along. Our waitress didn't stop once and was constantly making sure everyone was taken care of. Drinks never got low, she always had jokes when she came by and always had a smile on her face. Everything we ordered came out just as expected and tasted good. Absolutely terrible. The food was ok, but the service was absolutely atrocious. Had to ask multiple Times for more coffee and after 3 requests it finally came. The meals came out staggered. My breakfast started with eggs then after some time a bacon plate came out. After requesting the rest of my food 3 more times to 2 servers it finally arrived. Waffle House Webb City, Missouri; Party of four adults and one Grandson arrived on May 4, 2019 at 8:00 a.m. for breakfast. There was no place to sit so we opted to sit at the counter. Our order was taken promptly and we were served within ten minutes. Eggs were perfectly done "over easy" for me. The bacon was good but the hash browns were not. They did look great with a nice brown crust, but once you cut into them with a fork, they were like eating pieces of string. Not your typical shredded hash browns! The biscuit that came with the meal was cut in half, grilled and served without butter. When I picked it up it fell apart in three pieces. The biscuit texture was mushy as it appeared that a Grill Spatula was used to mash it in order to brown it evenly. The waffles were like eating a pancake with waffle marks! Pretty nasty. My Cousin was smart and ordered himself a "4" minute waffle. This he said made the waffle more crispy. We had to track down the waitress for more coffee. As with most places like this the coffee was warm and weak as if just colored water. No recommendation here from this Food Critic. My Qualifications as an Experienced Food and Service Critic; I have been trained in two culinary schools to include on-the-job training at other different venues. I've managed full service as well as fast food restaurants and have also had my own catering business. As a trainer, I have trained personnel on how to provide superb cuisine and customer service. The only reason for the second star is the food was tasty! The service was terrible. Grace was our server, she seemed extremely overwhelmed even though there were only 5 tables seated and two other servers. We got our waffles within 5 minutes. Then 5 minutes later, our eggs. Theeeeeeen after asking 3 times for coffee refills, we received them. Literally 15 minutes later, after asking two different people, we finally got our toast and sides. Now our eggs are cold. It's a place for either old timers or extremely drunk parties.. I am not old and we went in at 2 am.. I was coherent enough to notice that even after my husband spilled my water all over my lap right in front of the waitress she failed to help me out at all! Two thin napkins soaked it up real nice I do not go here and the only reason we did is because my friend was screaming that she wanted eggs. I had hash browns with jalapeños and gravy. why do they keep the pie locked up in the back and not able to access it. I eat here 5-6 nights a week. They tell me the manager won't let them put the chocolate pie out. They can put pecan and soggy apple out. Will be glad when I finish the construction project here in Webb City, MO. Hopefully the next town has a decent Waffle House. If I could leave no stars I would! Went and picked up my meals to take home and they stated they ran out of lids. So they placed a tin foil wrap on the top stapled into the trays, so when I opened them I had to be careful or staples fell into my food. I went to Waffle House in Webb city, Mo this morning. I never seen it so but, the service was quick and friendly. I will return there.

Prices on some items are double the cost from a few years ago. Rumor was that corporate bought the store. It used to be packed, now it is easy to get a table. Prices are bad compared to other places in the area. The tables are still wet or dirty, every single time. Why can they not clean and wipe off the table so it's dry. I don't get it. read more

I've recently developed an addiction, you might say, to the Waffle House pecan waffle. Webb City's restaurant is decades newer than the Joplin Waffle House and in my opinion, a little bit better. The staff is young and energetic and they seem to run like a well-oiled machine, talking and laughing the whole time and providing excellent service. The food was outstanding, and their sugar free syrup is actually very good (I usually just like Cary's brand and theirs was very similar). In fact I'd say it's hard to find a better breakfast in the area, and that's in comparison to local and chain restaurants alike. We were quite impressed. The only thing negative I have to say is the coffee seemed really weak to me. On the other hand, my fiance's a lot pickier about his coffee and he loved it. read more

So, I'm at waffle house in Webb City MO. I walk in sit down at the high bar, no one speaks to me.... there is several servers scurrying about but no one speaks to me!? Customers walk in after me, several servers say " Welcome to Waffle House". By this time I'm wondering if I can even be seen? Am I ghost? finally after about 10 mins the lady washing dishes says have you been helped? Now mind you I've been sitting right in front of her for 10 mins, and she asks have I been helped!? My response is, and not in a very nice way I might add, something along the lines of NOPE! So she finally gets someone to help me. Because apparently she's not capable of helping me, that takes another 5 mins. I place my order, God knows I've had plenty of time to decide. Food takes another 20 mins or so to get to me, good thing I wasn't in a hurry. I have to say food was good and well prepared, nice and hot, although I did have to wait for my waffle, ironic isn't it? by the time my waffle gets to me I'm almost done with the rest of my food. Now I do have to say as a courtesy I was comped my drink.... beacuse I had to wait so long. Because nothing says sorry like comping the least expensive item on your order. By the way my check came before my food. Gotta love it when that happens! So all in all, good food lousy service. For a waffle house, this place isn't bad. They keep it clean inside and the food is very good. I really like the strawberry waffles.

Very clean and very friendly. You are greeted as soon as you walk in the door and your order is taken within minutes.

Even though they didn't actually have cups of peanut butter for our waffles the service was exceptionable. By his name tag we knew his name was Talyn and if he isn't part of management then he should be. Super cool guy and a great waiter/cook. Sincere. I give this a 3.5 I would be even better if it wasn't in webcity. The ceiling has a lot of aesthetic. The sound is that of cats hissing which give me a sense of home. The service is with a smile ask for Misty she's the best. The only thing it lacks is chicken tendi's. I would go mabye once a every 5 weeks. read more
