My friend and I are a lover of The Big Biscuit, but this location has some issues. My friend and I were the only patrons in the restaurant when we ordered (one woman came in later). We both ordered 2 eggs and bacon. I asked for crispy bacon, my friend did not. My bacon was chewy (I sent back for additional cooking), my friend's non-crispy bacon meant not cooked (inedible). He also sent back. I wanted cheese on my eggs (and didn't get). He didn't want cheese and got it. And our "toast" was just slightly warmed bread. His orange juice never was delivered. I think the saddest part was the undrinkable water that was delivered - it had a weird, foul taste. As our waitress was unsurprised, and upon request brought "better" water, we assume the weird water is a repeating issue (???). Have to wonder if a new, inexperienced cook is in the kitchen. Going to hit the Super Donuts once we pay the bill. Oh well. read more

This place has yet to disappoint! Staff go above and beyond for you. The place is very big and can get very crowded during breakfast. Simple decor and they have an outdoor patio for a dining option! So every time I come I try one of their special highlighted in yellow. This was the Three Car Pile-Up and talk about massive portions! We waited a long time before anyone acknowledged us. Sat and it was another 5 minutes before staff came over to take drink orders. We were ready to order and was told she would be right back with out water. She waited on another table that came in after we did and she did take their food order. Food was a long time to come to table. People that came in after us was finished eating before we received out food, which at this time was not hot. The food was almost not eatable as the gravy was thick and pasty. You may get a huge plate of food, but if it isn't eatable and the service horrible, why bother. We used the online waitlist to check in since there was a wait. They were having some tech issues because it said it was our turn but it really wasn't. That part was a little frustrating. We waited probably 10 mins total, so still not too bad. Just would be nice if their online thing synched properly. Our food was really nice. The loaded sticky bun was amazing. Really great omelet too. Service was pretty quick, which was also a plus. Our waiter was attentive but I wish restaurants would train waitstaff in how to project their voice. I'm not hard of hearing but I struggled to hear what he was even saying. But other than that he did a nice job and the service was good. read more

Been there a few times and the food is great. Good place to meet with friends before a big game day or other event.

I came here for lunch with my wife at about 1:00 pm on a Thursday. We almost sat ourselves as we stood there for a few minutes with no one to greet us. Once seated, we perused the menu and found what we wanted. The waitress came and took our order about the time I found what I wanted. The breakfast menu is much better than lunch. I only saw burgers, pork tenderloin, and blt's and fries for lunch. My wife had a sausage and cheese omelette. Heavy on the cheese. She got the grits and a biscuit w/gravy. She enjoyed her meal but wasn't able to eat it all. I got a fried chicken sandwich w/fries. The sandwich was tasty but the bottom bun got very soggy in the middle. The fries seem to have some coating on them that was very displeasing to me. I only ate a couple. The food here is good but not a must have. The overall experience was just, meh. Our server had one table and couldn't remember who got what meal. When she collected our nearly full plates, she didn't think to ask us why we left so much food. Not big deals, but also not enhancers. Overall I probably won't revisit this restaurant as I just didn't enjoy the experience very much. read more

I've heard such good things about this place, but was pretty disappointed when we actually got around to going. It took 5+ minutes for us to even be seated and then our waitress was unfriendly and inattentive. The restaurant itself was freezing cold. Not very welcoming when it's 40 degrees outside. My husband's food was really good which is the only saving grace. I ordered eggs Benedict, which was just ok. The hollandaise sauce tasted like mayonnaise and mustard mixed together which is not what hollandaise sauce is meant to be. We likely won't be back. read more

We've been trying to get into The Big Biscuit for a while now, but wait is always long. Today, we got there at the right time. Was seated within 10 minutes. My wife ordered full biscuit and gravy, and I ordered the Kansas City omlete. The portions are ridiculous. We could have easily shared either entree. The biscuits were fluffy and huge. Gravy was creamy. The Kansas City had lots of bacon, sausage, and ham chunks. My wife also ordered one of the new western drinks, Cowboy Colada, and loved it. The place was busy the staff friendly and the food was great. We will be back even if we have to wait a little longer. read more

What the heck is going on here? PURE EPICUREAN DELIGHT, that's what! I got the "Haymaker" ...a bowl with fries, covered in cheese, then fried chicken strips covered with sausage gravy. Crowned with a large, buttery biscuit that has a gently crunchy top. The sausage gravy tasted better than any restaurant gravy I've had in the past 40 years. Very pleased and we can't wait to return. Got seated fast server did a good of explaining the menu and what everything was on the menu. Waffle plate a lot food for your money, egg, potatoes, waffle were delicious, Bacon was tough, my husband had country fried steak it was good, messed up order got hash brown instead of potatoes. She corrected it, it was strange however do lady came in and everyone seem to spend time talk to her. We ran out of drinks because she was talking to her.
