Zero stars!!! Mediocre food and terrible service. No one listens! Ordered a child's burger and fries add cheese. Server informed is cheese would be an extra .50 cents. No problem there. Except the burger came out without cheese. We had cut the burger in half and it came back out without cheese the same bun, cold without melted cheese. Also ordered the slammer. 12.99. Asked for peppers and onions on the hashbrowns. Came out with Peppers and onions on the sandwiches instead of the hashbrowns.Asked them to fix that and they did, but everything was cold coming back out. There was a discrepancy with the ticket and she gave us a discount. When I explained to her we was charged the wrong price, she redid it and the price went up. I've lived in Joplin for a very long time and never been to Webb City Cafe. So the wife and I decided to give it a try. The place is definitely dated (they still have a smoking section ). But my grandmas always said don't judge someone or something off appearance alone. Staff was great. Even jokes around with us. Our waitress was busy and another got us refills but told us to tell our waitress she was a terrible server. So I did and she knew exactly which lady helped us so then they traded each other for a couple minutes. I got French toast, scrambled eggs and a ham steak. The wife got cinnamon swirl French toast, scrambled eggs and bacon. The French toast was wonderful. It was fluffy yet slight crunch to it with great cinnamon taste. As some warm syrup and it was a home run. The cinnamon swirl French toast was even better. The eggs were dry but as hot sauce and they were fine. The bacon was crispy and the ham steak was heated up just fine. If the review was based off food and service alone 5 stars all day long but we sat too close to the smoking room and someone with asthma it's not great place to be near. It was the only spot open when we got there. If they didn't have the smoking room definitely would have been higher rating for us. read more

Enchiladas are great. One thing I love and didn't expect was when I reheated my leftovers. Wasn't soggy and the quality didn't go down when reheated. Tasted exactly the same good quality as when I first got it which is rare for most foods. Will always visit again. read more

We stopped here while traveling down I49, after a Yelp search for breakfast food. We both hand Benedict's, wife had Country one and I had just plain. They were okay but not something that would make us choose to eat here over any other place. The server was wonderful. Decor is lacking and outdated, not the cleanest place, but not totally unacceptable. read more

Highly recommend taco Tuesday, the chef knows his stuff. but at far as other stuff like burgers, stick with your favorite place. But the diner type dinners are good. I love this little spot! It's so nice to have a cute diner right in town & the staff are so sweet and welcoming! Their coffee is BOMB and I love the $3.99 breakfast!!! My husband had their French toast and it was delicious too. The inside is very old and quintessential small-town diner, so if you're into that sort of thing you'll love this place. This was one of the worst places I've ever eaten. I placed a to go order the other day & it was AWFUL. First off they forgot one of my sides. Second, it was VERY noticeable that the vegetable medley is a bag of frozen veggies that gets thrown in the microwave. For a small café, this place has the largest menu. The only downside is they still allow smoking in one of the rooms and although I don't like it, I'm all for a place choosing if they want to offer that to their clients or not. The food is good and we have always enjoyed our meals here. read more

This is actually the old Norma's Diner. Had the breakfast special which was two eggs, two strips of bacon, hash browns and toast for $3.99. The hash browns were cooked to perfection! Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. It was a great deal. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is they have a smoking room. That's just NASTY!!! read more

I used to eat here when it was Normas. It was never a great restaurant but it's steadily gone downhill. The interior is very worn out and dirty. There is a large smoking room next to the main dining room that most of their clientele seems to prefer. The food is decent but the servers can be a bit rough around the edges. Overall the restaurant overall feels very dirty. The last time I went there I finally admitted to myself that I never wanted to go back even though it's convenient and reasonably priced. This is my favorite place to eat breakfast and it's a non chain restaurant. They have good service, nice employees, and delicious food. The service is awesome bc they always refill your drinks and you don't have to wait a long time for your food. The waitresses/waiters are very kind and know what they are doing. This is the kind of diner I like, whether by yourself or with a group. Honestly who ever you have with will find something on the menu (which is pretty extensive). Another plus for some is a seperately smoking section that is actually seperately by wall and glass door. The food was good and fast, you don't get that very often. They have actual gyro sandwiches, but have NO idea how to make them properly. You don't out pickles all over it. They also chip the meat into tiny pieces. If you get one you need to tell them how you want it made. Sliced meat and NO pickles. Other then that it is very tasty. People are friendly food is good for the price. read more
