Pancakes, eggs, wrap

Absolutely amazing - the food was outstanding (great eggs and INCREDIBLE pancakes), the decor was so cute with trains / little village buildings everywhere, and the employees were so, so nice. Might be my new go-to in Joplin

Cute restaurant with delicious food! Our server, Audra, did an excellent job as she was friendly, attentive, and spot-on with her recommendation. She suggested her favorite menu item, The Reza, and it was absolutely delicious. We'll definitely stop by again on our next trip through Joplin!

Cute place. Loved the music and the decoration, very welcoming. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and freshly prepared. I would say the only down fall is we waited an extremely long time for the food. Either than that everything was great. If you don't mind waiting, it's a delicious little place to stop by for a bite.

Katz corned beef on rye with cabbage roll soup

Although service was slow, the staff was friendly and kept our water glasses full. It took a while for the staff to take our order and then they forgot my drink and did not bring it out until I asked. We all enjoyed our food, I would say the sandwiches were better than you normally can find in town which we were pleased with. Prices were comparable to other sandwich shops in town without all the noise and hustle. You might get a larger sandwich at other fast-food locations like Jimmy John's, Subway, or Jersey Mike's but the prices are similar and come with fries, a cup of soup, or tator tots. I hope they work on their processes and get the turnaround time fixed. It took over an hour to bring our food from the time we ordered it and we did not have any changes or substitutions. From entering to leaving we were there for two hours for what should have been 30 minutes. One thing I would change is when you call your shot, whether it's in baseball, pool, or sandwiches you sure had better make your claim stick or look foolish. They named their corned beef sandwich the Katz after the famous NYC deli. In this claim, they fell flat. If you say your sandwich is a katz it had better be somewhat close to the real thing. Instead, this was a typically flat small, and overcooked corned beef like you get at Arby's or Denny's. A Katz Deli Corned Beef has about 3-4 inches of moist, juicy, corned beef, it's not hard or dry and has a distinctive tender texture. Their bread is soft and full. If they had just called it a corned beef grill my expectations would be the same for everywhere else that also don't know how to make a proper corned beef sandwich in Joplin. Calling it a Katz requires that you make it as close to Katz as possible, otherwise, you do you both a disservice. I'm sure we will try them again in a few months to see if they improved, we don't usually have two hours for lunch to get a sandwich.

Not only was the food great but I just love the setting of this place. There is a small film area, lots of board games to have a cute board game night and even a backyard with live music!! As for food, I got the truffled grapes and a bahn mi with a side salad. All items were tasty and I felt very healthy after that meal!! The sauces/dressings they use are so tasty and really elevate the sandwich/salad. I wish they added a little more honestly! My only issues with this restaurant are they run out of some sides very quickly. My friends and I went at peak dinner time (5/6pm) and they didn't have a lot of sides left! I was really looking forward to trying the fries but I guess that means I just have to go back again! My other comment is the price. I spent roughly $12 for the sandwich and $6 for the grapes. As good as they were, the portion size for the price was a little bit unequal. I was still hungry after :( However, I do still highly recommend this place and would definitely want to go back (especially when they got a movie play!)

Let me just say that we have been to Branson twice for probably a combined dining experience number…read moreof around 12 times and this blew everything so far out of the water, it should be in it's own league. The poutine was fabulous. The fry coating was crisp and tasty and the gravy was full of flavor. The Reuben sandwich is outstanding! The way they cut that corned beef was nothing short of magic. An egg on there? What? I've never heard of such a thing, but yes please. And I had the brûlée corn; which I may need to learn how to replicate because I've never seen this on any menu in Chicago, but it's too far to travel as often as I'll be thinking about that dish! The old fashions were smooth! Went with vanilla and loved the subtle flavors. Everyone was so nice and the atmosphere was a delightful mix of old school pub/English castle. All of it was just what I was hoping to find. Food off the beaten path that deserves a huge shout out. In a town of bland flavors, this place shines like a real gem!

Sat in a comfy table with a padded pew close to the bar with our backs to the wall, which instantly put my hyper vigilant husband at ease (IYKUK). Chatted a bit with our kind server who was also a millennial, how do I know this? The eye contact and lovely snarky conversation. My husband ordered his med rare, which probably came out more med and not enough pink for his liking. Correction on my part, I got the mahi mahi with parmesan grits and green beans and I didn't even need to look at my pictures to recall, it was that memorable of a meal. Being early January a parking spot nearby was an easy find, I imagine though finding one come spring will feel like a miracle. I'd love to stay at the attached hotel but found it's already booked a year out. Doesn't surprise me, the old English charm with its stone and dark wood is straight up story book.

This popped up and I was pleasantly surprised when we walked in. The owners have taken care to give it some upscale touches. (The ladies restroom is selfie worthy.) There is one pool table, nice dining spots for groups and couples, a dartboard and a really nice couch area with a fireplace. The food was pretty good, drinks and service were great. Happy to have stumbled on this place. Just keep in mind it is a bar. There is music, karaoke the night we were there...the point being if you're looking for some place intimate to have a conversation over dinner this probably isn't it.
