Best WH we've been to. Very clean and everyone was so friendly. Alaina was excellent. Will definitely be going back!

Really prefer this location to the others in the area. It gets five Waffle House stars; one for each item on the Allstar.

Liz came by the table to say hi to my mother in law and to meet us all. I started my meal with a spicy Bloody Mary and then had the Seafood Scramble with Spicy Hollandaise and a side of Cheesy Grits. The scramble had a good amount of eggs and seafood and the sauce had a nice level of seasoning. I would've loved to have the biscuit that came but I saved it for my son since he can eat gluten. That biscuit looked soft and fluffy. I loved my egg dish. My son had a Cheeseburger with Sweet Potato Fries and my brother in law had the Grilled Cheese and Crab Sandwich. They both looked great and apparently were delicious. The Shrimp and Grits and Debris Eggs Benedict were awesome too. We will definitely be back on our next trip if not another day this week.

Liz's exterior appears a little downtrodden and parking a bit limited, but inside is welcoming with a bright and shiny Louisiana ambiance. We had excellent service and Liz herself dropped by and welcomed us. We ordered a variety of specialties, with me enjoying an egg scrambler with all the trimmings, my wife having a sumptuous roast beef po'boy and my son having a burger and fries. All were very good and our iced tea glasses were never allowed to be empty. We were seated immediately, but business is brisk and you may need to be prepared to wait at peak times. We look forward to returning!

I certainly appreciate them making it work. Crazy Pig has an excellent menu for breakfast with lots of different options We went on a Sunday morning I got one of the omelettes I think mine was the lean omelette Everything comes with bread and or biscuit I can't eat bread or biscuit so our waiter offered me avocado and tomatoes, which were a perfect choice to go with my omelette Most restaurant places that I've been to usually just remove the item without offering a substitution I was so happy with the alternate options I spoke with the owner to let her know that I appreciate having the tomato and the avocado instead of the bread and the biscuit. Then she told me that they just had a class on food allergies This is really exceptional that a restaurant is taking up their own initiative to learn about food allergies so that they can service their customers with better care While the food is definitely excellent with the capacity to offer different options for the different dietary needs that people have and the staff is educated, I just wish that they had better coffee at the Mandeville location like a cappuccino or a café latte Still an excellent choice

We were greeted by a wonderful young lady who looked around at all the empty tables and said, "Sit anywhere!" We looked around at all the available tables and chose a round four seater by the door. As we were sitting down, an older lady who appeared to be the manager said not that one! You have to sit at a square table. I looked around and only four of the 12 tables in the room had guests. I asked why and she said it is a rule because if a group of five or more come in they need the round table. I looked at three large round empty tables that could seat five or more. I asked to speak to the manager or owner and she replied she is not here and walked off. We went to a square table and had our meal. Only two other people came in while we were there and the same lady told them to sit anywhere. The food was good, the young people who served us were excellent but the manager was rude, devoid of any concept of the importance of good customer service and unyielding in her effort to follow her rule. Had I been alone, I would have left. I definitely will not go back.

Think eggs Benedict with a Louisiana crabmeat twist. It starts with a buttery homemade biscuit topped with a whole artichoke heart, creamed spinach, a perfectly poached egg, hollandaise, and caviar. It's served with a generous portion of lump crabmeat and a side of potatoes. With so many rich components, I expected it to be heavy, but everything was surprisingly balanced. Every bite worked together, and it was an incredibly delicious dish. My wife ordered the French Dip, which was the brunch special, and she absolutely raved about it. The shaved ribeye was incredibly tender, the Gruyère added just the right richness, and the au jus was packed with flavor. My daughter, who considers herself a burger connoisseur, insists their Brunch Burger is the best burger she's ever had. She ordered it again today, and it only reinforced that opinion. I also tried the Golden Hour cocktail, and it may have become my new favorite. I highly recommend giving it a try. From the food to the service, everything was exceptional. Tchefuncte's continues to deliver one of our favorite brunch experiences, and we can't wait to stop in again the next time we're in the area.

The service was phenomenal! It was for an anniversary, and they made sure to tell us happy anniversary, and add it to a little sign that was left on our table. Now for the main part: the food. Fried Oysters and Pork Belly - very good, if you get this make sure you eat them together (that was our "best bite" for that serving). Wedge Salad - one of the best wedge salad's we have had. The blue cheese dressing was creamy (rather than chunky blue cheese). It had crispy shoestring onion strings that almost acted as the croutons. I loved every bite that included lettuce, tomatoes, onion, and bacon. Delmonico Steak - this was probably our overall favorite item. Just a great steak, and large enough for both of us to enjoy. Redfish - this was good, not great. Would probably try something else other than this if we went back. Tchefuncte Potatoes - they almost were like a twice baked potato (flavor wise), but they are super creamy and fluffy and then turned into a lightly fried ball. Good and very unique. Crème Brûlée - if you like crème brûlée then you will enjoy it here. A classic dessert that was delicious. And to top it all off, the ambiance was great. It is right on the water, and service was very attentive.
