It was apparent the guaranteed 20% gratuity tacked on to the large party was obviously larger than the gratuity I would have left, so I didn't bother to leave one. I don't know which "server" would have gotten it anyway. The hostess at the door who seated us provided the best service of anyone. Note: in my entire life (56 years) I have walked out of a restaurant FOUR times without leaving a tip. This was the fourth. I will look for any reason to leave at least a small gratuity, but this time there was simply not one. Not going so far as to leave a 1-star review, but I was tempted. I hate to do that almost as much as I hate not leaving a tip.
