Asiago Bagel

Delicious and soft bagels, fresh-made cream cheese and quick counter-service, Creole Bagelry exceeded our expectations for both a brunch and bagel spot. We ordered everything from the Asiago bagels to the breakfast bowl to the DIY omelette and it was all delicious. My favorite bites were the smoked gouda grits and the crispy everything bagel, complemented by the spinach and artichoke cream cheese. 9/10 I think my husband and I have found our new bagel spot!

Walk in and order at the counter. The line moves pretty fast so don't be worried. There are a lot of bagel options as well as a whole list of different cream cheese flavors! We ordered breakfast this time, but next time I'll be sure to order some bagels to go. I ordered the smoked salmon Benedict with side potatoes. My husband ordered the Big E omelette with side grits and an everything bagel. The food was excellent and came out pretty fast. Casual atmosphere, nice service, you walk up to another counter to pickup your food (they'll call your name). Remember to bus your own table after you are finished.

Service here is always good. Today I noticed a lady had one glove on one hand and her other hand was bare. She touched the bagel with her bare hand. In between time she was on her phone. I wasn't comfortable with her touching my bagels and she didn't change gloves.

I highly recommend Creole Bagelry. I had the crawfish omelet and Crab Bisque, both were outstanding dishes. Great food at great prices, four stars are not enough.

The girls here are so nice I love the South. I didn't know what to expect but the food is so freaking good. I had a breakfast spring roll I added bacon and sausage when I tell you so good that's an understatement. Food is so good you have to try it. The service was amazing everybody in there was so kind and so full of energy and smiles. And the place is pretty big you can sit and eat and we took our food to go but I had a mimosa while I waited.

This is the Avocado Flight on a garlic toasted bagel. My custom request. Superb!!!! I love the ambiance here and would recommend it

If I lived in Slidell I would be here all the time. Great staff, great food, and cute atmosphere. Perfect breakfast spot. Love it!

Never ever been disappointed with this establishment. Food and service has been amazing. It is really busy so expect a reasonable wait but nothing crazy. They keep the dining area picked up and it's packed with families. Very family friendly with a good variety of kid dishes. Follow them on Facebook to see their limited time bagel releases because some of them are amazing. They have a good assortment of spreads too. They're not just bagels, they breakfast and lunch plates, with quite the variety I'm struggling to try them all because one would be so delicious I get it again. Join the

Absolutely love this place the staff are always super friendly and helpful. I ordered the breakfast egg rolls and my eating buddies ordered a praline waffle, bagels with various cream cheeses and a plain Belgium waffle. The breakfast egg rolls were a favorite for all of us. I ordered the Asian sauce on the side which was a great idea. They were the fan favorites at the table. The combination of eggs, bacon and cheese wrapped and fried were just phenomenal. The breakfast potatoes were seasoned very well and came out fresh and hot like the egg rolls. Simple but delicious. The waffles were fluffy and the praline sauce was perfect not to sweet but just right with a nice amount of pecans on top.

Yum! Loved the food! Seasoned just the way we like it here in Louisiana. The chicken and waffle was so good! Sweet Belgian waffle cooked perfectly and crispy chicken drizzled with a spicy pepper jelly syrup. It came with 2 eggs cooked your style and breakfast potatoes.

We started out with an order of seafood croquettes. They were good, but not our favorite. We also had an order of brussels sprouts and they were perfect. My husband ordered their shepherds pie. It was a massive portion. The whipped potatoes on top had just enough flavor to complement the beef and veggies. My daughter ordered the seafood, stuffed potato, and boy was it stuffed! Rich creamy sauce with lots of shrimp and crawfish. The yakamein was calling my name! It was perfect for a cold windy day. I had a little bit of a kick and just enough noodles and seafood to make me happy. The portions are very generous, so be prepared to ask for a to go box. This place is definitely worth checking out.

If you like a hot sandwich, the portobello mushroom and swiss is tasty and is unique amongst sandwich chains. The cold Veggie sandwich is good - get extra cheese and it is as filling as a meat sub. The Philly chicken cheesesteak is fabulous, better than the steak version. I love the hot pepper mix they offer. Goes with almost any sub on the menu. The staff are friendly. I have had them bring out carside delivery in bad weather and they are still cheerful. Props for that. Sometimes they are busy and hustling and the vibe gets a little rushed but that's understandable. The store is clean. It is small so it gets crowded at peak times. The traffic flow through the ordering line doesn't always work very well, kind of meanders through the tables. They have an outside patio where you can sit if the weather cooperates. The parking lot is crazy tight. Narrow lot with straight-in parking spaces. Add a few big SUVs squeezing in there and you are taking your chances. Save your car doors and park down by the Walgreens and walk to the store.

MAY 2026 Anniversary Vacation Part 4A: NOLA Southern Grill…read morein Slidell, LA. We were in Oyster Heaven last night at NOLA Southern Grill. It's a Hidden Gem nestled in Slidell, LA. We like to sit at the bar in restaurants and chat with people. Last night, we enjoyed chatting with the bartender Carol and her friend who is another local. I started off with a killer dirty martini! Carol knows how to make a good one! She, the cooks and entire staff are so appreciated! They were a lot of fun. Carol was so nice, very attentive and saw to every need of her customers. They offer Happy Hour 3-6:00 which included OYSTERS, raw or chargrilled! So I had both...raw and chargrilled. Terry stuck with the grilled. The raw oysters were amazing! Plumper, meatier, creamy and mild and less briny than East Coast NC and VA oysters. These are the kind of oysters you also want to fry! They were so perfect and so delicious! Next came out the Chargrilled Oysters...drenched and grilled with a melted Parmesan, Garlic, Herb Butter Sauce and served with slices of warm, garlic French bread to sop up the hot butter sauce that pooled at the bottom of the tray. Oh my oh my oh my! Shut the front door OUTSTANDING! Terry and I relished every single bite, I may have been moaning as I kept saying how delicious they were. Perfection on an oyster shell. We shared 2 doz chargrilled plus I had a doz raw with cocktail sauce and freshly grated horseradish. I seriously think I could have had more oysters! Terry also ordered their fried mushrooms, best we ever had! We ate like Kings and Queens. Dragos is on our list to go to but if we don't make it there this time, I'm so happy with NOLA Southern Grill's chargrilled oysters, I'm good, I don't need to go. I would like to compare the chargrilled oysters though, we shall see. But in the meantime....move over Dragos! NOLA Southern Grill has entered the building! Let's what we can get into trouble with later today in NOLA. I have my list!
