The drinks station was clear of any mess, trash, and spills, so it was clear that they cleaned up. I was quickly greeted and after some food was delivered to a table, my order was taken. The price was very reasonable for my meal. It took about 3-4 minutes, and she was at my table with my breakfast croissant in hand. I drove a few minutes to work, and it was still warm and quite tasty and filling. A great visit. I've been a few times for lunch, and it is understandably very busy during those times. The so called "Bagel" is not a Bagel at all. At the most, it is a roll. It is steamed and not boiled. If this "Bagel" was in NY New Yorkers would run it out of the city immediately. If you are craving a good bagel, look no further. This visit all I had was a pumpernickel bagel with garden veggie cream cheese. It really hit the spot. In precious visits I've had bagel sandwiches and bagel pizzas and they also did not disappoint. The food tastes very fresh. It's a very casual and unassuming place. Order at the counter, and at this location the food was brought to our table (it wasn't busy). It may be that you pick up at the counter at other times (or maybe not but I digress). It's no frills and good value. They don't really advertise so I often forget about it but have always enjoyed what I've ordered. I come here every now and then and one things remains constant is that they appear to be understaffed. I come for lunch and for breakfast and the wait is kinda long to say you just get a sandwich. They cater well to their regulars. They know them by name and their orders which is a great thing. I don't think the service is bad. They are just a tad understaffed. I had never been to this location I usually use the one located inside Price Leblanc Toyota. I ordered the philly cheese steak hoagie meal with the bagel chips , cream cheese dip, and a drink then I added jalapeños. It cost $12 something which I rounded to $13. The sandwhich was okay but honestly for $13 I can go get anything I want so I probably won't pay that for a sandwhich again. Service is phenomenal. Everyone is friendly and there is plenty of staff to accommodate the traffic. It was my first time here and I didn't know what I wanted. I decided to try this place for the first time and it was amazing. I had no trouble finding the entrance and there was even a sign that indicated where it was. The decor was very modern, cozy feeling and it was very clean. The two ladies at the registers were very friendly. I order 2 plain , 2 sun dried tomatoes and 1 manhattan skyscraper all toasted with plain and spinach cream cheese. Lots of bagel and cream cheese flavors. The manhattan skyscraper had a good amount of pastrami and all in one was a good bagel sandwich. I would definitely have it again. Presentation was nice too. It also came with bagel chips. I would eat a whole bag of them which I did got some with a small tub of veggie cream cheese. The bagels were delicious and nicely toasted. The sun dried tomatoes bagel had actual tomatoes baked into them which was a delicious surprise. I also met the owner / manager and she said their cream cheese were homemade which is a plus and it was really good. The manager was super nice and helpful and would definitely come back for the food and the customer service. Prices are pretty low I believe I saw a lot of menu items under $10. I think I've become spoiled by a bagel shop in Atlanta that is owned by a New York native that makes real New York style bagels. The bagels here are definitely NOT New York bagels, but they are ok. They are fresh and taste ok. The cajun bagel I tried was...interesting. I've been here a couple of times now and the sausage egg and cheese on an Everything bagel is going to be my go to breakfast bagel. The employees are nice and courteous and the shop is clean and airy. One of my favorite spots to grab breakfast in Baton Rouge! I've never tried anything other than the bacon, egg, and cheese bagel on Asiago, but I can absolutely vouch for its quality, and you can't beat the $4 price tag. From what I understand, all bagels come with a side of bagel chips - "savory" chips for the lunch bagels, and cinnamon bagel chips for breakfast bagels. These are delicious too, although I wish they were a little softer, or maybe thinner? They're a little tough for me to finish since they're so thick & crunchy. That said, there are several different cream cheese options to choose from, and all of them are made in-house! My favorites are the standard cream cheese and the pecan delight. This is one of my favorite spots in town to grab breakfast. The bagels are always fresh and so is the cream cheese. I love the garlic and herb cream cheese on the everything bagel! Tastes just like you're in Manhattan. I will say I wish their lunch menu had a few more additions. Avocado, different types of mustard and even a couple of salads on the menu would be nice.
