I came in on a weekday afternoon, expecting a coffee shop, and found a French bakery instead. Coffee is good, but the baked goods are truly memorable; a great array of croissants, tarts, cookies, brownies, and more exotic desserts are available, as well as a good selection of specialty and breakfast sandwiches. Seating and ambiance are a little limited, but counter service is friendly and efficient. If you're looking for quality desserts and baked goods, this may well be your place! read more

Cute neighborhood bakery! I walked in and was hit was the fragrance of freshly baked bread and pastries. Ben was kind enough to walk me through each and every dessert. At one point I had to ask him to stop because I was having a hard time choosing which to take home. The lemon meringue croissant was perfect each flavor was light and just enough lemon. The brioche morning bun was so fresh it was still slightly warm when I bit into it. I would advise anyone to try them it would surely be more than one visit. I'm eager to go soon and try the fresh baked bread along with more sweet treats. read more

Stopped by this quaint bakery with Parisian vibes while on my way to work. Grabbed a pomegranate blackberry lemonade and an almond crossaint and lemon tart. OMG! The almond crossaint melted in your mouth. Loved it and the lemonade was very refreshing not tart at all. Found me a new spot! read more

The baked goods are outstanding!!! Try the tiramisu croissant!!! The cruffin is also delicious

The pastries and breads made here are EXCELLENT! Give them a try and you will become a regular customer.

This is by far the best bakery on the NS. The plain and almond croissants are incredible. Tres Leches is the best I've had.

Nice bakery with good options. Stopped here while passing through and wanted a sweet snack. Staff was friendly and service was very quick!

I love Tournesol. I came into this cute cafe a few weeks ago and have been hooked ever since. On that occasion, I ordered the eggplant sandwich. It was flavorful, fresh, and served piping hot. I paired it with an iced tea, but plan to endulge in one of tehir beautiful fresh baked breads on my next visit. I love that they have challah bread. As a NYC transplant, I miss some of the ethnic varieties of food and dietary offerings I had in a bigger city. I believe the restaurant is Kosher which also helps me bring my halal friends and family here for treats when they visit. read more

Love the pastries. We received a gift box of artisan sourdough and lovely French pastries from our neighbor, a Housewarming gift. All of the items were delicious, an almond claw, raspberry filled croissant, perfect blueberry scone. We ate off of it the whole weekend. We went to visit Tournesol cafe with our friend that enjoyed the experience, a must try. read more

Always a great place to stop for wonderful pastries and bread. Highly recommend this bakery.

Such a great bakery with the best breads and pastries. Always a great selection!! Try it out

The croissant is EXCELLENT! It's very flaky, buttery and yet very light. The beef meat pie, cheddars scallion, lemon curd croissant with Swiss meringue, and almond croissant are also delicious! This is a must try if you are visiting. The brownie and lemon tart are the BEST desserts by far. The brownie is chocolatey, filled with chocolate chips, and crunchy on the top; very pleasing to the palate. Delicious! Driving 43 miles to get these tasty treats was well worth the drive! Try the bar-b-que beef brisket, you won't be disappointed. The arugula salad that came along with it is also very interesting. GREAT customer service, in fact, it is outstanding which is hard to find in today's environment. read more

This place is my guilty pleasure. His baked items remind so much of my childhood in Europe. This place is worth visiting! I cannot praise his avocado toast more than I have. I get an over easy egg on it be it's like a food orgasm. Check it out if you are in the neighborhood. read more

This place is fantastic! I had an iced mocha, pain au chocolat, and a chicken salad sandwich. The bread on the sandwich was so good, and the pain au chocolat was delicious, as was the mocha. The service was quick. The place itself is small but cute. Don't be turned off by the worn down benches - this food is worth buying! read more

My only regret is that I just learned about this place. My wife and I went to a king-cake tasting recently and both his French-style galette king cake and the one stuffed with guava and cream cheese were 6-star delicious! We are going this week for lunch and also picking up dessert for grandkids from there. The owner's story is very inspirational and if you taste his food, you'll be hooked. read more

I could kick Myself for not finding this place earlier. We moved here about 6 months ago, live less than a mile from here, hubby just found. Very happy we found them but also concerned about the weight gain that's gonna happen. Lol read more

This shop is the definition of a hole in the wall, but has the best pastries in Covington! Everything is fresh. New baked goods come out every few minutes. You can even smell the fresh baked bread from outside the store! The croissants and orange muffins are my personal favorite. Despite it's unassuming exterior, there is a fair amount of seating. I definitely recommend this place, you won't be disappointed! read more

The almond croissants are to die for...but I've never gotten anything I didn't like The ambiance is pretty chill and welcoming This is our go-to bakery read more

Their bread is sooo good, but the pastry and croissants make it hard to decide what to get. Their baker is really talented. My favorite bread is the pain de campagne, and my wife loves the challah. They have a person at the counter who is helpful, and there's usually a line of one or two people waiting to be served. The ambience is ok, but who cares. When the baker is this good it doesn't matter. read more

One of the best bakeries on planet Earth. I just wish I could get my croissant on Saturday, but I respect the Sabbath too!

Make a beeline for the croissants and baguettes. Best we have had outside of France! Carrot cake was good too.

If you want real pastries this is where you go. Cappuccino is good too. Highly recommend.

I think the pastries would have been good but was so distracted by the unkempt clerk at the counter and the grubby nature of the place, that I really couldn't enjoy it. I asked for my Florentine quiche to be heated and it was only marginally warm--the center was cold. We were so very disappointed! read more

This place is friggin delicious! Got a few different pastries and 2 quiches. I'm a sucker for a good cheese Danish. The cheese and berry Danish did not disappoint! I will go back for more later this week since I have limited time in the area. read more

Wow! Delicious! Checked out this place for the first time just looking for a light lunch. The grilled eggplant sandwich was amazing and tasty, even the arugula side salad was delicious! Best bakery on the North Shore hands down. Everything is delicious and high quality. You definitely eat with your eyes first.

Love this place! I come in at least once a week to grab a chocolate croissant and a cold brew. The service is always quick and nice. I love the vibe of the shop, it's warm and welcoming. Everything we have had from here is Amazing! great family owned business. Support your community.

This bakery is a treat! We found it based on some comments online. We often get the breakfast sandwich. It's eggs over easy (but we order over medium) on a croissant with cheddar cheese and a homemade sausage patty. Talk about good! The croissants are light and flaky. Their scones melt in your mouth. They offer a variety of pastries and tarts as well. They also serve a variety of sandwiches and salads. read more

This place is amazing ! I have tried everything on their menu and all the pastries and I take home bread at least once a week. Carlos is a master at his trade, when most people are sleeping this man is hard at work at 3am marking the best baked bread and pastries on the north shore, cudos to him! Mango mouse cake, guava cream cheese, orange and blueberry muffins, chocolate croissants, lemon tart, morning buns, meat pies, great coffee and affordable breakfast and lunch sandwiches. If you haven't been here yet don't wait any longer, you will thank me! read more

Best place to get croissants in Covington! Great lunch specials, with tasty sandwiches/salads/soup/coffee. I love their chocolate croissants and orange cranberry muffins. He also supplies some other local restaurants with his wonderful breads! Love his multigrain bread, challah bread and olive bread and they will even slice it for you. We have also used them for our thanksgiving dinner supplies last year and this year, he seriously makes the best dinner rolls! We also ordered pies for thanksgiving that were good too! One of my favorite places to get lunch! I love it when he has the grilled cheese and butternut squash soup, it is divine read more
