Don't you just love a true welcome when you visit a place of business?? I know I do. Welp! That is exactly what I received when I dropped in on this diner. Although it was extremely busy with people, they were very welcoming. I grabbed a apple fritter and chose the donut holes for my picky eater! Upon them first opening up again everything was delicious great service fast easy got my order read it back to me no issues etc but as of lately mind you( I work at the Walgreens next to them so they're an ideal location for lunch or early breakfast) however the past 4 or 5 visits have been very inconvenient to say the least I don't know if they hired new people or whatever the case but the order is always wrong missing something or made extra complicated ordered from Uber eats a bacon egg and cheese bagel and the bagel was missing bacon how does that happen it's a three ingredient sandwich .... Another instance this morning I went to get croissant sandwiches they read back the croissant sandwiches to me at the ordering window and then when I got to the window she said it was for 3 biscuit sandwiches which I corrected and said no I was three croissants and she went back spoke to them and came to me then said they've already been made I said the person on the speaker at the menu read my order back and said croissants (mind you the woman in the window didn't have a head set so she wasn't the person who messed the order up and I was like im sorry I hate to waste the food that's just not what I ordered) the woman at the window was very nice following that interaction and said it's fine I understand you're spending your money and want it made the right way it isn't that big of a deal but it's just inconvenient every time I'm coming have to correct my order or spend extra time fixing my order at the window especially if it's while I'm on my lunch break because I don't necessarily have the time to correct any order mistakes at that time I know they're trying and I believe it's just because they've hired new people because the first bunch they had when first opening again was Johnny on the spot every time I would come it was right and consistently delicious but the new hires attention to detail is lacking very much so i think better communication and attention to detail would make a major difference I hope the next few visits are better so I can change this to a higher rating I love supporting local restaurants and businesses when they first opened I stood in the long 25-30 plus person line just to try them out because being from California and moving out here everybody ranted and raved about butter krisp s mini burgers and donuts and they did not disappoint which was why I kept coming back but after the last few visits though I may have to reconsider read more
