I can't say enough about their donuts and other pastries they are truly amazing! The drive thru is a little slow but well worth the wait. However, the food is another story. I've only eaten there once and that was enough. The hamburger was subpar I'm not even sure that it was real beef. read more

The location is great, but the atagf and food are not good especially late night ... We used the drive-thru and placed an order for a bacon cheese burger and the country fried steak with biscuit and gravy. The burger was overcooked and dry! The biscuit and gravy? - well, when they run out of biscuits they just give you toast - which creates a soggy mess and does not taste good! Once we noticed the issue, I tried to call and no one ever answers the phone. So, we wasted $23 ... will not be back! read more

Hot donuts and butter burgers are awesome, great place, if it's busy you have to wait. So worth it.

The absolute best donuts I've ever eaten. Cooked perfectly and the glaze was perfect.

Best donuts in the greater New Orleans area. Service is always good and the diner is a typical style diner restaurant.

Got glazed donuts & hot chocolate. They were fried a bit harder than my liking, but that's just personal preference. The staff were sweet & helpful! Probably would go back & try something different. read more

This place is sinful. The glaze donuts are to die for. I can typically pick up a half dozen and chew through them instantly as I drive home. My other guilty pleasure are their BLT sandwiches. The staff is always friendly. Providing service with a smile. A must stop if you are the area. Grab a half dozen glaze and lose yourself in the box. read more

Super slow. It's been 25 minutes since I ordered my food and I'm still sitting here writing a review waiting. Asked us to pull up to a parking spot to wait. Terrible service for a shot in the dark bar food. I won't be coming back. read more

Never got anything I didn't like from here. The donuts are always fresh! The butter burgers remind me of Crystals but BETTEE!!!

Don't you just love a true welcome when you visit a place of business?? I know I do. Welp! That is exactly what I received when I dropped in on this diner. Although it was extremely busy with people, they were very welcoming. I grabbed a apple fritter and chose the donut holes for my picky eater! I explained that I needed them to be free from particles from other neighboring pastries because he would probably turn his donut holes down. They understood. I was told to say no more. The experience was quick and effortless. My son enjoyed his treat. We plan to return soon and enjoy some of those hot biscuits! Thumbs Up!! read more

It's been a great experience, but I just went when they just opened for the day... totally different experience. Burnt food. They told us they'd be opening later than expected ( which drove away most of the waiting customers ). But as soon as those customers left, they opened 3 minutes later. I don't care so much about that as I do that what they served me was burnt, and they joked about it. Their morning crew is kinda shit...lol. Update: I'm got an undercooked hashbrown patty. I wouldn't normally mind, but it's verrrry much undercooked. I still give you guys 4 stars, but the service today was so, so bad. Maybe it's the cook, idk. But you've always given me the best before now! read more

I have an issue everytime I come here. Why do I keep coming? Because I'm a Doordash driver. These people are extremely rude and act as if they are there against their will or something. You are at work. At least pretend to care. read more

Great butter burgers and donuts. Just like I remembered as a kid. The service was quick and easy as well.

Upon them first opening up again everything was delicious great service fast easy got my order read it back to me no issues etc but as of lately mind you( I work at the Walgreens next to them so they're an ideal location for lunch or early breakfast) however the past 4 or 5 visits have been very inconvenient to say the least I don't know if they hired new people or whatever the case but the order is always wrong missing something or made extra complicated ordered from Uber eats a bacon egg and cheese bagel and the bagel was missing bacon how does that happen it's a three ingredient sandwich .... Another instance this morning I went to get croissant sandwiches they read back the croissant sandwiches to me at the ordering window and then when I got to the window she said it was for 3 biscuit sandwiches which I corrected and said no I was three croissants and she went back spoke to them and came to me then said they've already been made I said the person on the speaker at the menu read my order back and said croissants (mind you the woman in the window didn't have a head set so she wasn't the person who messed the order up and I was like im sorry I hate to waste the food that's just not what I ordered) the woman at the window was very nice following that interaction and said it's fine I understand you're spending your money and want it made the right way it isn't that big of a deal but it's just inconvenient every time I'm coming have to correct my order or spend extra time fixing my order at the window especially if it's while I'm on my lunch break because I don't necessarily have the time to correct any order mistakes at that time I know they're trying and I believe it's just because they've hired new people because the first bunch they had when first opening again was Johnny on the spot every time I would come it was right and consistently delicious but the new hires attention to detail is lacking very much so i think better communication and attention to detail would make a major difference I hope the next few visits are better so I can change this to a higher rating I love supporting local restaurants and businesses when they first opened I stood in the long 25-30 plus person line just to try them out because being from California and moving out here everybody ranted and raved about butter krisp s mini burgers and donuts and they did not disappoint which was why I kept coming back but after the last few visits though I may have to reconsider read more

I arrived in Covington late last night. I was happy to find this 24/7 diner. The girls working late last night were great and fun to talk with. I had the sliders and Cajun fries. Hair in the food. Disgusting. Door dasher delivered our meal that a friend ordered. Had to throw everything away. Will never order again.

Best Doughnuts on the Northshore but the place is a little run down and the drive through is a tight fit if you have a larger car. The doughnuts come out pretty fast but everything else's takes at least 15-30 min which if your sitting inside isn't a big deal, if your sitting in a car with a toddler is a bad idea (which we learned the hard way). read more

Best donuts around! So much better than any other donut shop - than any I've ever been to anywhere in the US! Do yourself a favor and try a dozen hot glazed - you won't be sorry! Only complaint is hat I wish they would come to the 21st century and get a credit card reader that doesn't require a person to sign for it but rather input their PIN, or better yet, not have to do either (like at other businesses with drive-thrus. It's a pain to have to sign in the drive-thru. Donuts are heavenly though!! And it's open 24 hours - which very few businesses are in Covington read more

4/14/2018 - Believe it or not... my daughter requested this as her Senior prom dinner spot. I know, but that really happened. And I can't really blame her... it's open 24 hrs and the food is really good greasy diner fare... with great doughnuts on top of it! Surprisingly, prom dresses and tuxedoes abounded as we were not the only ones with this idea... the parking lot was full and we were forced to park next door at McDs (closed already at that point.) Three of us had breakfast plates and I had the swiss mushroom burger again... add bacon. The only complaint was that I didn't get the bacon. Still everyone was satisfied and I forgive the error as the diner was in standing-room-only mode! 5/12/2016 Stopped in for dinner with the family. We had a mix of breakfast and burgers. I added bacon to my Swiss and Mushroom burger and my son had the spicy chicken sandwhich. The two girls had a Grand Slam plate and the little one settled for a jalapeño chilli cheese fry. Everything was good and the food came out surprisingly fast. The diner had a nice 50s feel inside with great music playing. It's a local favorite and definitely worth a visit! Previously...The sign says this is a diner, but it really is a donut shop on steroids! They have burgers, barbecue beef, along with some of the best donuts in the area. They even have hot tamales! Whether you are looking to come inside and sit down in a booth for a dining experience or pick up something good to-go from the drive-thru, this place won't disappoint. read more

The donuts are delicious, amazing selection, but I can't bring myself to go in anymore. They're very nice people, and the service is great, but the amount of flies in the donut case are ridiculous, and that's all I can focus on when I'm trying to pick out my donuts. As a food service worker myself, I know that fly infestations are very difficult to get rid of, particularly in a bakery. But it is your responsibility to figure out where they are coming from, and to get rid of them. read more
