We ordered a variety of different donuts and all of them were stale and tasted like grease. The cashier was in a horrible mood. He seemed annoyed that we were even there ordering. At least if the food is this rancid, hire people who are nice to customers. The coffee tasted like what I imagine watered down sugary urine to taste like. Brought home two dozen (1/2&1/2 glazed and chocolate iced) and they were so dense and flavorless that 4 kids (3 to 9 yrs old) didn't finish a single doughnut. Love the coffee, don't' love the donuts! Sadly the doughnuts are just not good and I think the problem is simple, they aren't fresh! I go by probably 3 days a week to grab a coffee but every time (literally for a month straight) that I purchased a dozen doughnuts they were kind of hard, had that weird 'stickiness', and the flavor was just bland. I would love for the doughnuts to be better so I hope it's something they fix cause the coffee is always really good! This location is owned by a really nice family. I love coming here! The workers are very friendly and will help you decide on coffee options. I am a huge pjs coffee fan, but their coffee really put a mark in my book! Didn't realize they were more then just donuts. Three strikes you're out! I will never waste my time and energy on this hard to get into location again! On this visit, I placed order and then when I got to the window, I had to repeat the whole order. Then I was told they no longer make one of my items. I ordered a medium black coffee and was given a small and didn't feel like waiting on having it made right but once I got home it had more than tablespoon of coffee grinds. Oh yum! The sandwiches were made in such a hurry that the Texas toast wasn't even toasted. I tried calling to but no one could answer the phones. Used to LOVE this place but the last few weeks have been disappointing. The cold brews are so good but I have had to ask for my drink to be fixed every visit and the staff has been rude. Who doesn't like Dunkin Donuts? I was really happy to see them come into Covington as I haven't lived in a town or city that had one since I was a kid. I've had good experiences here. I usually get here at times when nobody is in the drive thru so I get in and out pretty quickly. Donuts are of course always great. I haven't tried any of their breakfast sandwiches or anything they offer besides donuts. I couldn't imagine going here and not getting donuts. lol 5 Stars. On a side note. I've been eating donuts from Dunkin Donuts for over 30 years and have never received a hot donut, never expected one, and never heard of them offering or advertising hot donuts. I had a chocolate doughnut with sprinkles, nastiest doughnut ever and I am not picky about doughnuts. It tasted like they had previously made strawberry icing and then used the same spoon to mix the chocolate icing. I also ordered a french vanilla iced coffee. By the time I had tasted the coffee I was too far to turn back around and ask for a new one. It all I could taste was straight sugar, no coffee taste at all. And the chocolate covered donuts, the chocolate is not hardened so that then they go in the bag, the chocolate just goes everywhere almost like thick syrup.
