Even though this isn't a traditional sit-down restaurant with waiters, he was constantly checking in and making sure we were good! You order at the counter and then find a seat, which I honestly loved because everything was super quick!! One of my favorite things was how many options they had. There were SO many gluten-free and vegan options -- even a vegan egg, which I rarely see anywhere! The place itself was super cute and actually pretty big. We came with a group of 8 and found a table pretty easily, although it definitely started getting busy around 11 on a Sunday. The food was great!! I got the gluten-free pancake, and while the pancake itself was good, the yogurt on top made it SO much better. The Brussels sprouts were also amazing! I think all 8 of us were really happy with what we ordered, and we all agreed that this is one of those places where there really is something for everyone -- which is always such a win when you're eating with a bigger group!

They have fresh squeezed juice that is a must try when you go. I received great service from the employees at this location. The establishment is very clean and seems to pass majority, if not, all health and safety requirements. The restaurant is in a plaza, so, there is plenty of parking that is convenient for you. I believe the hours are only until 2pm, and, they tend to bring in a large crowd. Therefore, I advise planning on getting here no later than 12:30, so you have an ample amount of time to be seated and enjoy your food Speaking of food, I would say, for the most part, our dishes were delicious. As I said, the food is fresh so you walk away not feeling overstuffed if you wish to indulge in a lot of food (which I recommend ) The only feedback I have is the Carne Asada tacos lacked a little flavor. Not the entire taco as a whole, but the meat itself- I was able to tell when I tried this dish. I am, shower, very particular with my Carne Asada you have to put the perfect amount of seasoning and the right kind of seasoning along with cooking it a certain way to get a good asada. My favorite course, was the bacon, along with the farmhouse bowl. It was the perfect blend of meat, potato, herbs, & fresh eggs. I added arugula to throw on some extra veggies to my dish and it definitely enhanced it in the best way Overall, First Watch is a staple and I highly recommend you take a visit!

The Red Eyed Mule has been consistently recommended as a top-tier place to get a biscuit in the greater Atlanta area, so I figured I'd finally give it a go. I got the spicy chicken biscuit, along with another biscuit on the side with some cheesy scrambled eggs and a side of country sausage to build my own SEC biscuit. First of all, the biscuits are HUGE. They're the ultra-soft, buttery, pull-apart-but-not-in-a-flaky-way type biscuits, which I enjoy. The spicy fried chicken was good on its own, but nothing outstanding. The country sausage was good, too. Don't get me wrong--I liked everything I tried. That being said, I didn't find them to be anything that had a "wow" factor, so I am glad I ended up trying multiple items just in case I was underwhelmed. I overheard a local in line talking about their corned beef hash, which he said was not your typical dish straight out of a can and onto the flat top, which, for the record, I have no problem with. But man am I glad I gave it a go. The corned beef comes in large chunks of shredded pieces, clearly taken from a big corned beef brisket and then mixed in and cooked with small diced potatoes. This was my favorite dish, by far. I'd come back just for that. I also tried their cheese grits, which was better than usual at a diner style restaurant. The customer service was awesome, and I really enjoyed the atmosphere in general. Worth noting it backs up quickly. I got there at 9:02, 2 minutes after they opened, and there was already a line at the door. I'll be back with friends for a dish of corned beef hash and grits, and I'll probably get a biscuit on the side just to enjoy on its own or with butter and jam.
