This was my first time at this location, and I went specifically for their fall menu. I found myself torn between the Apple Pie Pancakes and the Maple Peanut Butter Bacon Waffles, so our server made the decision for me--and they chose the latter. They forgot the bacon at first, but the moment I mentioned it, they immediately fixed it. And once it came, it was absolutely delicious--sweet-savory in perfect harmony. To celebrate finally finding my way to this café, I treated myself to two drinks. The first was the Maker's Mark Pumpkin Pie Cold Brew, which really delivered on flavor. It features pumpkin-spiced cold brew, graham cracker milk, cream topping, and is garnished with caramel, graham crumbs, and cinnamon. The mix of warm pumpkin spice and crisp cold brew, with the creamy graham milk and a touch of crunch--every sip felt seasonal and satisfying. The second drink was the Pumpkin Brunch Old Fashioned, which I thought was okay, but not great. It's composed of Maker's Mark bourbon, Mr. Black Coffee Liqueur, pumpkin puree, bitters, a coffee ice cube, cinnamon stick, and orange peel. The bourbon was a bit too dominant-- it overpowered the pumpkin puree, and I couldn't really pick up the coffee from the coffee ice cube. Not something I'd order again, but it wasn't terrible. I also sampled the Cookie Dough Pancakes (not a fall special, but on the menu), and those were excellent too--rich, comforting, and indulgent without being over the top. All together, everything came out to less than $70 (including tip). For a fall-menu brunch with two specialty drinks, that felt like solid value. I was told the café had just come off a huge rush, which might explain some imperfections. One thing I noticed, though, was that despite many employees walking around, there was trash on the floor in spots. It would've been nice to see more active floor maintenance to match how well they handled everything else. Still: this is one of the best Broken Egg locations I've visited. We come here quite often... at one point almost 1 time a week... less now. My son loves the Cinnamon Roll French toast. It is super good but beware these are not for the sweet restricted... they are loaded with calories and have a sweetness that is purely addicting! Diabetic comma anyone? The flavor is amazing! But wow they rot your teeth as you eat them they are so powerfully sweet! I had the hash brown eggs Benedict this time. They really need to understand poaching an egg is a true art. The yolk should run when cut open not just sit there. However even though they were slightly over cooked (I have had them worse) the dish was good! The hollandaise was spot on, the flavors were tantalizing and it was a hearty meal. Our service has been hit or miss here but this time our server was fantastic! On time, got everything right, checked up on us just the right amount, and even informed us with their pos system was down and how long it would be to get our check. It was refreshing! Will not return. Waited 35 mins for our food in a place that was not that busy. Watched employees in a room in the back that looked like their break room But was really just part of the restaurant that they had closed off so they could talk and check phones and literally ignore customers! Nice waitress but it doesn't take over 30 mins to cook eggs? Who manages this place? 6.00 for potatoes that barely have enough for one person? The atmosphere was very depressing! I was just there for a pick-up order that very late (35 minutes after my pick-up time; over an hour from when I places the order) and THE ORDER WAS STILL WRONG/MISSING MULTIPLE ITEMS AND THE PREPARATION WAS NOT AS REQUEST.. would never order from this place for take out and definitely wouldn't take my family to eat here. I have been driving out of my way to come here for years. After today's experience, it was my last. I ordered a traditional breakfast with egg whites. Upon taking the first bite, I knew something was not right with the eggs. When the precious server came over to check on us, I said I wasn't gonna eat them. They were terrible tasting. Then (already knowing the answer). I asked her if these were out of a milk-like carton egg. She did say they were. Then she kindly offered me "real" eggs if I wanted them. Maybe I'm dense but I feel I have a lot of common sense that when you go to a restaurant for breakfast, they have real eggs. Eggs is even in the title of the restaurant. Of course I want real eggs. It's a bad practice. I declined the offer for real eggs as the fake eggs had already made me sick to my stomach. After an overnight train trip, we stopped in here for coffee. I didn't eat much, but others in our group have been here before and ordered breakfast. They also ordered beignet to share. This version reminds me of little powdered sugar covered, deep fried donut holes. This days order of biscuits and gravy was a bit stingy with the gravy according to my companion who frequents this business. We made a joke about how maybe they are running low. Those pancakes are lite and fluffy. I can definitely recommend the coffee here. Our waitress stopped by to refill our cups during our visit. Very smooth, full bodied coffee. Our waitress was very pleasant and checked in on our table from time to time. We paid at the cashier on the way out. They share parking with other businesses so you may have to walk a bit. I will be honest and admit I didn't really enjoy my food. I'm a temperature person and if it's not steaming hot then I'm won't indulge ! Also , my breakfast beignets were delivered burnt and the powdered sugar was an attempt to cover up the mistake ! It was quite offensive but the server made sure to bring out another ! My shrimp and grits were not flavorful and the shrimp are very small ! I expect plump and juicy shrimp if I'm purchasing a meal from a restaurant! On initial entry the decor was very nice and inviting with cute handmade, branded mugs on sale to catch your eye. Outside of that, it was just another normal brunch place with a few 'southern' inspired takes on everyday breakfast items. We arrived a little before the lunch rush on a Sunday so we expected service to be a little slower. We waited for almost ten minutes before initially being greeted after our arrival. Our quoted wait time was 10-15 minutes. At the 25 minute mark and no text, we decided to come back in after waiting outside and were immediately sat.. From our initial arrival until we received our food was around an hour. Our waitress was Dom who was extremely nice and apologetic throughout our dining experience. We ordered two cold brew coffees and waters. The coffees were good but I feel they would've been better had we not waited 10+ minutes. They were partially melted by the time they arrived to us. I had the hashbrown Benedict. Subbed the poached eggs for fried over-medium ones. They came out over easy with the egg whites still runny but I was so hungry at this point I just ate around the yolk (undercooked eggs make my stomach upset). The potatoes had a really nice seasoning, but the ham hashbrown patties themselves were mushy. Overall the dish was okay, but not worth the wait IMO. My partner had scrambled eggs with his order and they came out over cooked and dry. As if they sat in the window for a while before being served. We ordered a 1/2 serving of the biscuit beignets (4 pcs- I ate one before snapping a photo) as an appetizer but they didn't make it to the table unit we were almost finished with our main dishes. Dom offered and brought us some fresh fruit and apologized for the wait which we really appreciated. The beignets had a really nice texture and a delicious orange marmalade sauce. Because they're biscuit based they are a bit thicker than a normal beignets, but we didn't mind. Hands down the best part of our experience outside of our waitress. Overall, it was an okay experience. We probably won't be back anytime soon. Extra note- be sure to double check the 'suggested tips'. They do round the total to the nearest dollar amount if you pay cash (which I personally prefer) but even still, the suggested amounts were higher than the true percentages if you do the math yourself. read more

I had a great experience with the food today at Another Broken Egg Cafe -- unfortunately, the service at checkout completely ruined it. My bill was $63.48. I paid with a $100 bill and was given back $36.00, short $0.52. When I asked for my full change, the server told me they don't give back coins. Excuse me? Since when is it acceptable for a business to keep customers' money because it's "only change"? I spoke with the kitchen manager, who said his name was Greg and claimed to be the GM, and he stated this was "store policy." That's incredibly disappointing and unacceptable. Keeping change from customers without consent is not a policy -- it's taking money that isn't yours. After insisting, the server went to her car to retrieve my $0.52 and finally gave it to me. The fact that I even had to ask -- and push -- to receive my correct change is ridiculous. Food was good, but this experience left a bad taste. Customers shouldn't have to fight to get money that belongs to them. I won't be returning. read more

We went to this place to have breakfast instead of having a burger at Bad Daddy's like we always do. Now we regret our choice. We should have followed our first mind. Just left this place and sadly the French toast was just toast. It appears that there was one egg used to create the illusion of French Toast. As you can see from the picture the toast on the far left doesn't have any eggs on it. This is how the French Toast tasted overall. The rest of the meal which was called Meyer's Lemon and Blueberry French Toast was lacking. Interestingly we couldn't taste the flavors from the Meyer's Lemon nor were we able to see any of the glaze. Well maybe that was the sliver that looks like butter spread as also shown in the picture. The eggs, bacon and the side of chicken sausage was lacking as well. If we're in the area again we're going back to our burger spot. read more

The Huevos Rancheros (actually more like chilaquiles but whatever) are good, eggs cooked nice over medium... but again, nothing amazing. Could definitely use some cumin, culantro, and queso fresco. The city grits are excellent. Whoever cooks the eggs did a bangin job! My biggest gripe was that it was almost $6 for what is advertised as "100% pure pressed apple juice" is Infact a $.30 childrens apple juice box that is 42% juice. Felt a lot like a bait and switch. This morning my wife and I ate at Another Broken Egg Café at 10800 Alpharetta Highway, Roswell Ga. We were pleased with the clean, refreshing décor and atmosphere as soon as we walked in. I had the immediate feeling of welcomeness by the staff. I noticed that patrons were comfortable working from their computers and tablets as they ate and sipped delicious coffee. If you've read any of my reviews, you will see that great coffee is one of the determining factors of our return. You would think that it couldn't get any better than having a nice place to eat and relax with someone or while just sitting at your computer, as I often do while writing. But it got better. Our server, "Dominique, or Dom", introduced herself with a friendly smile. Dom told us that since it was our first at the restaurant, she would bring some complimentary Biscuit Beignets. The biscuit beignets were so good! Smiles came across our faces right away as we savored this yummy desert. I ordered the Benedict Burger as my wife ordered the Sunrise Spinach Scramblers. Both of these were excellent choices. We shared a side of delicious pancakes also. Easily could've been a 5 star review, but for some reason the menu pricing didn't match what we were actually charged and we found the pricing to be high already so it was quite a shock to see it was even higher. I would highly recommend the omelettes or the broken egg biscuit sandwich. We don't live nearby so we aren't able to come here often, but the food is tasty. Our waitress was extremely friendly and attentive so service was definitely great. They serve brunch and breakfast food here. Anything from gourmet pancakes and waffles, to eggs cooked many ways, to biscuits and gravy, to sandwiches, quinoa bowls, and more.
