    3 Deep-Fried OREOS

For a late night spot in Woodstock, I'm entertained! Lol We came to Fat Shack around 1 am and tried to keep it light, lol. The Fiancé ordered the Philly Cheesesteak, I ordered fries & fried oreos. At first glance, the philly looked disappointing, but the flavor was there & the bread was fresh, but not greasy like the philly's I'm used to and love! The fries were good, hot and fresh (always a plus). The fried oreos were good, but the dough was a bit thicker and on the pale side, but still good nonetheless! I would revisit Fat Shack! Especially since the only good things open late around here are literally just waffle house lol!

Great 1st experience here at Fat Shack. Ordered just the chicken fingers and fries to try it out with a side of honey mustard and buffalo ranch. The sauces were delicious. Everything was made fresh by the staff member working today and it was all very tasty. She was incredibly friendly and was taking orders + making the food. Everything was made quickly and efficiently. Would definitely be back to try more off the menu.

I actually downloaded Yelp to make a review on this place. I don't know what they're expecting but, I'm surprised they're still in business. I decided to get their most popular sandwich, the cow and it was by far the most soggy, inedible, sloppy bs I've ever seen. I am by far no means a picky eater. This is just non- subjectively gross.

So my hopes weren't too high based on previous reviews but decided to give them a try as I was craving a Philly and the mentions about their Phillies were pretty good. Needless to say, I was not impressed with what I ordered. The philly did not have much meat in it and the taste wasn't there. The cheese fries came as a glob I guess from the cheese not being melty and warm/hot. Not really sure if I would give them another try.

20 mins from Pine Mountain is this super cool eatery called Fat Shack. It's been on shark tank and they make 8" sandwich's with odd combinations. I got the "Fat Doobie" and it had mozzarella sticks, french fries, and chicken tenders all in one! Lol it was actually a lot better tasting than what I originally thought it would. I also got the fired cheesecake bites with strawberry sauce and it was amazing! The service was friendly and fast. Although its 35/40 mins from us with no traffic I'll definitely be back to try more of they famous sandwiches (:

This is becoming a staple in my weekly routine. I'm from Chicago and this reminds me of a mom and pop place from back home. I wish they could do a Chicago dog or Italian beef . Great food all around .

It's small and cozy in that quiet, unassuming way that feels both nostalgic and transportive, like stepping into a hidden corner of a Parisian street. It's also refreshingly not about aesthetics or trendiness, it's about quality, craftsmanship, and doing things exceptionally well. Everything tastes unmistakably fresh. The pastries are delicate and buttery, the croissants perfectly flaky and golden, and the quiche is rich, savory, and deeply satisfying. You can tell there's real intention and care behind everything. They also carry imported French juices and specialty grocery items, which adds an extra layer of authenticity and charm. But the real standout for me was the cappuccino. I don't say this lightly. It was the best cappuccino I've ever had...luxuriously creamy, velvety, and perfectly balanced with a deep, comforting richness. One tip: get there early. The most coveted items disappear quickly, and once they're gone, they're gone. A truly delightful, understated gem. Wear: Linen pants and a striped cotton shirt Listen to: Où est ma tête? The place was hopping with both dine-in and take-out orders, but there was an employee hustling to clean the tables on this Friday about 1PM. I managed to find a clean table and filled my cup while waiting (they have a Pepsi fountain machine). To sample a couple of different sandwiches I got a small Chicken Chipotle Crunch and small Grilled Italian with a side of fries. I should have gone with mini as small is quite generous and filling (see pictures). I liked the fried onions in the Chicken Chipoltle Crunch and most of the favor came from the sauce. The tomatoes on both sandwiches were a bit too pale and tasted watery. The Grilled Italian was definitely the more flavorful of the two with great seasoning on the meats. The bread was nice and soft. The side of fries were of the coated variety and were fresh, hot, and crisp with the breading having a great seasoning. All the hard surfaces and glass windows made for quite the echo chamber, and even with half the tables occupied the noise level was quite considerable. There is a variety of seating with bar, booth, and table (different sizes).

It wasn't very clean and barely any customers inside - mostly online orders Took about 20 mins for 3 sandwiches & large Philly cheesesteak fries The fries was such a tiny portion for the price, like half the box was filled & the meat was tough & dry The pastrami sandwich was really good though. The wagyu cheese steak was meh in my opinion, meat didn't really taste like wagyu But 3 sandwiches & fries $60ish seemed like a lot for the quality / quantity There's plenty of parking in the shared lot
