    Shrimp fried rice
    Andrea C.

There was some shrimp that hadn't been deveined in my shrimp fried rice. Nasty! There was barely any shrimp anyways and some shrimp was cut into pieces instead of whole shrimp. The wings were cold and the shrimp fried rice was also cold. The only thing good was the fries. I had to add my own seasoning at home though since they were not seasoned

They recently raised their menu prices, due to current market conditions. Their website prices are inaccurate. I took photos attached to show the prices as of this week. IMHO, They are getting pretty expensive for what you receive.

    House lo mein...

House lo mein was pretty awful. Loaded with random veggies as filler with barely any noodle or protein. Also got 10 butter lemon pepper wings which were both small and tasted awful. This place was recommended by my coworkers. I'll figure out a way to get them back cause this had to be a practical joke.

Number of times I had to call to place an order.

I would give it 5 stars but they never answer the phone when you're trying to place an order. You have to beg them to answer the phone so you can buy food other than that the food is amazing.

Extra hot and lemon pepper wings

J Buffalo Wings was decent, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here. They have a wide variety of food on their menu, but since they're a wing place I was hesitant to try something else. Nonetheless, I tried the chicken lo mein. It was okay. The portion is a hefty size, but hardly had any chicken. The wings are small, but that allows them to get a little crunchier. The flavors are alright, nothing to brag about, but not bad.

Wide variety of wing flavors and plate sizes. The wings could use more sauce but overall I really liked J Buffalo.

As soon as we walked in, my daughter spotted an appetizer that a nearby table was enjoying, and she begged me to get the same thing. It seemed to be a tray of loaded fries. As I perused the menu, I decided that it must have been the pulled pork fries, so we started with that. Considering there were only two of us, we made a significant dent in this tray. It was delicious! On the bottom of the tray was a generous layer of beer cheese upon which the fries were laid and then topped with bbq pulled pork, a little bit of maybe sour cream or some other type of cream, and pico de gallo. The fries remained crispy throughout, and the whole thing had a great balance of flavor. 10/10 would recommend. Don't skip this app! The server was attentive, and when I was undecided, she suggested that I try the pulled pork grilled cheese. Since it was a lunch special, she told me I could get that in whole or half. I opted for half since we had such a big appetizer, and was glad to have that option. My daughter ordered the kids' mac and cheese with fries. The sandwich I ordered lived up to the hype. I really enjoyed it. I also tried my daughter's mac and cheese, which also seemed to have the beer cheese. It was probably the best kids' mac and cheese dish I've tried anywhere. Service was good, and the food was amazing, so we will likely be back soon. Great spot!

They have a really good in house chef that has a very good menu selection, from salads, sandwiches, wood fired pizza, mussels, and the wings are fantastic. TV situation - a feel of a sports bar yet also highly craft beer spot feeling, I like that you can catch a game on a really good sized TV here but still have a good solid chill vibe. Service - always on point, always have what I need there, friendly service as well. Pro Tip - make sure to check out the patio overlooking the lake, it's a beautiful spot to each outdoors!

They have live music performers from time to time, trivia nights, and just generally overall a great pub vibe. The Reuben is a classic that my partner and I love, Shepherd's pie, Scotch egg with the accompanying side salad, and the burgers. I haven't tried all of the entrees, but I'm slowly working through the menu. Their cocktails are also pretty yummy. I am personally not vegetarian, but one of my friends who is said their black bean burger was the best they've ever had. On my last visit I tried the fish and chips for the first time and being someone who for their entire life avoided seafood but is trying to expand their pallette, this surprised me. I would actually go back for more. The serving sizes are more than generous I think, and as as a person with an average, not two large appetite, I typically have leftovers for another meal which reheat pretty well. Overall, this is a regular location that we frequent since there's something for everybody and it's just nice enough to feel like a night out, but just relaxed enough to feel like there are no expectations.

Started with a black and tan and it was poured perfectly. We shared a hummus plate for an appetizer, and this was a very pleasant surprise. Everything was homemade and fresh. The hummus was probably the best we had ever had and the pickled veggies were outstanding! Had the Smashburger and fries. Burger was juicy and very tasty but the star of the show on this plate was definitely the fries: thick, hand-cut fries - what every restaurant should have instead of the frozen, bagged variety. Hats off to the chef for amazing food, the owner for capturing the essence of Ireland, and our server, Liam, for being an excellent host!

We started with the pimento cheese dip and were both surprised to find that it was served hot along with several pieces of soft, warm bread. It was SO good and a nice change from the way that most other restaurants serve their pimento cheese. Even hubby loved it and he is usually not a fan of cheese. For my main, I ordered the grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup. I am not exaggerating when I tell you that this is THE BEST MEAL I have had in a really long time. Total comfort food that hit all the right spots on this chilly afternoon. The cheese on the sandwich was just the right amount of ooey gooey and the tomato soup was perfection. I was tempted to lick the bowl when I got to the bottom, but that wouldn't be very dignified while dining out, so I did the next best thing by sopping up the residue with what was left of my sandwich. It was delicious and I will be back for more soon. Hubby ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and said it was the best chicken sandwich he has had. He is hard to please, so between the pimento and sandwich, 1920 achieved the improbable in impressing hubby. Service was impeccable. The main reason we had not come back in a while is because it is a small space and can feel pretty congested when it fills up, which is not the most comfortable. We don't like feeling crowded, but after today's visit, we decided that the limited space is a small price to pay for amazing food and service, so we will undoubtedly return soon. Perhaps we will try sitting outside instead when the weather cooperates. Big thanks to 1920 for starting our new year off on the right foot!

I got a drink at the bar and perused all the food stall options. Most of my coworkers were going for the tacos, but I couldn't get that delicious smell out of my mind, so I opted for the cheesesteak. Unfortunately, it was underwhelming. There was nobody at the counter when I approached, so I ordered at the electronic kiosk in front of it, which was fine with me as I don't mind using ordering kiosks, but it would have been nice to know someone was there. I received a text when my order was ready and went back to the counter to pick it up. Sadly, the food was just okay. I had ordered a cheesesteak combo with fries and a drink. The cheesesteak was decent but smaller than I expected for the price point and way too greasy. The flavor did not match the expectations that my nostrils had set, which was disappointing. The fries were not good, but I do tend to be picky about fries so might not be the best judge of that because I couldn't eat them but my coworkers seemed to like them. While it certainly could have been worse, I did not enjoy my food enough to order from this food stall again. If I return, I will likely hit up the tacos instead next time.
