I have eaten here about a million times. The salads are so yummy. My favorite is ordering a salad, with chicken salad on top (no dressing bc it doesn't need it). I'm also guilty of buying the bulk containers for dinner spreads bc theirs is much tastier than mine. There's nearly always a line at lunch time (it moves somewhat quickly), but I sometimes cheat the system and just order in the app then show up to pickup my order. And... if you haven't seen the rewards program and eat here frequently, you're missing out on lots of free goodies and discounts. Plus, this location has a little heartwarming boost ... did you know that Kickin Kay Lynne, Nutty Nana, and Classic Carol are the owners of the East Cobb location?!

If you are looking for a place to get a good, quick lunch, then this is the place. I had a short period of time for lunch, and they served my food within minutes. After you order at the counter, someone brings the food to your table. It appeared as though the entire staff was female. Everybody was super friendly. People smiled at me and made eye contact as they passed by me. A few of them spoke to me. I ordered the Sassy Scotty chicken salad on a croissant. For my side, I selected a cup of their potato soup. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. This may be one of the first times I've eaten chicken salad, and I was very impressed with the flavor profile of the Sassy Scotty chicken salad. I'll definitely return sometime soon.

Traditional Classic Carol Chicken Salad with Pasta Salad

I wanted to love it...I really did, but the food wasn't what it was cracked up to be. The cashier suggested a few flavors to try based off what I like. I ended up getting the traditional Classic Carol. For me, it was a bit unseasoned. Nothing in the sandwich had flavor, and I could taste mainly the mayo. Yuck! The meal came with a side, and I chose pasta salad. The pasta salad was extremely good!! They even put a cute little cookie on the plate which was very tasty. The customer service here was impeccable, and parking was pretty easy even during the busiest time of the day.

I almost felt like this was a place for ladies who lunch. I am okay with that, but it was a VERY limited menu though broad in flavors. ..... Chicken salad in about 8 or 12 flavors. The chicken salads are all VERY finely chopped, and heavy on the mayonnaise. I prefer my salad to be chunky and certainly with less mayo. Prices were fair. To go plates were ready in about 2 minutes.....fast.

Yummy chicken salad sandwich.

Very clean and friendly service. Second time going and the chicken salads are delicious. Good price and love the sides l.

I had the pleasure of experiencing this establishment during my first Yelp event last year. I'm a huge chicken salad fan and I have to say, I wish I had tried this place sooner! I was a little hesitant to check them out based on some of the reviews but then I got an email from the OTP coordinator Kelli saying this event might be something I would enjoy. I decided to check it out and I'm so glad I did. We got to try a variety of the menu and everything was outstanding. I'm not even sure I could pick a favorite chicken salad but I was definitely fond of the buffalo style and the lemon. Their pimento cheese was good, but honestly, I'm partial to my husband's. The broccoli salad was something I wouldn't normally go for, but I enjoyed this as well. The cookies they serve up are quite addictive as well! All in all, this place has something for everyone and I look forward to checking them out again for lunch. They would also make a great catering option if you are looking for some simple dishes to wow people at home!

Chicken Salad Chick is awesome! My favorite was the sassy Scotty with bacon in the chicken salad. Their lemonade and sweet tea is awesome! The employees are very friendly. The floor is very clean. Overall, this is an amazing place to eat!

It was very expensive for two simple sandwiches that were extremely dry. First and last visit.

Good food. Good choices. Priced a little high but that's normal given the cost of food. Service is always fast and good.

RC had approached her with a flier at a gas station, informing her that his restaurant had just opened up. Anyway, I'm ordering my meal, the same meal I always get each time I go. Fried fish (whiting), collards and the baked beans (unmatched). And he goes, "What would you like to drink?".... I'm like, "What do you have?" (Assuming the usual. Sweet tea. Lemonade... I was probably gonna go with sweet tea. ) He lists sweet tea of course, and then hes like, "Kool-Aid, coke, sprite" - IM LIKE WAIT. DID YOU SAID KOOL-AID?......... He's like, "Yeah??..." Im like, "what flavor???.... "Purple?...." I had never heard of that at a restaurant, and quiet frankly, that's all I needed to know. At this point, I literally go nowhere else for soul food. Also, RC is amazing. Really good guy, and his team offer the best service as well. A job well done, always.

My recommendation would be the baked chicken, cabbage, yams, and sweet potato pie. The ice tea is a must have. Kool aid and coke products are also available. The parking lot is large. So parking won't be a problem. But the inside is small so you will probably want to take the food to go. The menu changes from the week to the weekend with Sunday being soul food day. I will be back to try jerk turkey and meatloaf. Maybe next Sunday.

Lots of close-up free parking. And ahhh...the food: My strategy at all-you-can-eat buffets is this: for the first plate, I just take one bite-sized serving of each item that looks good. Then for the second plate, I go back and get more of my favorites, the items that tasted the best. Then the third plate I try the items I didn't try, the things that maybe didn't "look good" or whatever. Cornbread: savory, southern style (not the sweet yankee corn cake you get at other places) Collard Greens: seasoned southern style, from fresh, not canned. Beef tips: tender chunks in gravy, with white rice or mashed potatoes, your choice. Baked chicken: tender, juicy, with carrots and onions. BBQ chicken: on the bone, tender, juicy, a little bit spicy. Cabbage: lightly seasoned, tender Salad: iceberg or romaine lettuce, sweet beets, olives, croutons, tomatoes, grated cheese, and lots of other choices. Spaghetti: good, but not as good as Frankie's (Amazing Italian Restaurant across the street) Sweet Potato: candied, with cinnamon. Side dish or dessert. Peach cobbler: yummy! The crust was soooo good. Sweet tea: included in price. I get half sweet, half unsweet, no ice. And the server mixed it perfectly. I'll post a photo of their weekly menu. There are daily staples for every day, then weekly specials. The restroom was clean.

Not fresh at first, but decent if you push for it…read more I was pretty disappointed with how long the chicken and chicken livers had clearly been sitting out. When I arrived, I grabbed a piece of chicken and it was already cold, so I decided to wait for them to bring out a fresh batch. Same thing with the chicken livers: cold and not refreshed the entire time we were eating. Near the end of the meal, I finally asked if they were planning to put out fresh chicken. I explained that I tried it when I got there (about 30 minutes earlier) and it was cold, and nothing had been replaced. The staff member said she could start working on some, so I waited. About 12 to 15 minutes later, they did bring out fresh chicken and fresh chicken livers, and honestly, when it's fresh it's actually pretty good. The mashed potatoes were another issue. They had a thick, crusty layer on top, and it looked like they dumped the old, dried-out potatoes from the previous pan over the fresh batch. I had to scrape off the crusty topping just to get to the fresh potatoes underneath. Overall, the food itself isn't terrible. The bigger problem is the way it's being handled. It felt like they were more focused on cutting costs and stretching old food than keeping the buffet fresh and consistent. My advice: if something you want looks like it's been sitting out too long, say something early before you sit down. If you wait, you may never see fresh food brought out.

I decided to have a tapas-style dinner with food from The Works and just had to grab some chicken from Delilah's. The menu is plentiful without being overwhelming, except when it comes to picking a favorite between the flavorful options. I knew that I didn't want or need a full meal and opted for their 3 whole wing option that came paired with cornbread. The young man who took my order was so polite and patient, as there were a few folks in line and waiting for previously placed orders. He let me know that my order would be ready in about 15 minutes so I took the time to continue my food-finding journey around the market. When I returned later, I had lost track of time and figured I'd just poke my head around their stall to see if my chicken was ready. It wasn't at that moment but I took some time to observe the process. There was only one guy in the open kitchen and prep area creating all of the meals and he was on the move. If I could add smells to my review, this one would smell like fried chicken and cornbread. It was all so fresh! When my order was ready, I only made one other stop before heading to my car to go home to my family... but not before I tested those whole wings from Delilah's. When I say that they were fresh out of the grease? Babehhh. It's like he just threw them right into the basket only seconds before. It was sooo crunchy, so juicy, just a fantastic wing. The hot sauce was a nice pairing but some spice in the breading/meat would have taken it over the top but this chicken was delicious. No notes.

It cured our souls. We asked the generous, wonderful lady at the counter about the story of Delilah's: was she a real person, who is she, etc. her answers made us fall in love even more... this is a genuine, family-owned and operated enterprise! We love, love, loved our food and I can't wait to go back and soport again!!! You gotta try it.

Upon entering the store, I was disappointed that you can't see the food. It's not like a cafeteria with the food warming up front. Decided on the baked chicken plate that comes with rice and two sides. Added a drink - the mango lemonade. All for about $18 plus tax. They only have banana pudding for dessert. Was looking forward to peach cobbler or cakes even. Service counter was pleasant and worked quickly as more customers arrived. The restaurant is a takeout but they have a grass wall for photo opportunities on the Gram. The food: The chicken quarter was seasoned well and tasty. The rice was a bit under cooked and tough. The green beans were done with lots of garlic and sautéed. I liked it but I could see how my son didn't. The macaroni and cheese was underwhelming. There was no seasoning or flavor. It tasted smoky and a bit chalky. The mango lemonade was a hit. Overall, I'd try other plates like the salmon and the Soul Roll. Glad to have some other comfort food options in Cobb as well.
