First of all I review'd #1858 , I'm gonna guess one year six months ago. I've eaten there three times in the past 10 days including my birthday November 9 brought back memories of the great times I had eating at waffle house. No I did not order a patty melt lol "All star special" two days in a row. When a patron asks the chef to throw the onions down first, they should put onions down and not look at you like you're crazy lol. Three different cooks. Hope they don't mind I'm gonna put just there first names. Yulia , Ashleyy and Matthew ! Trifecta ! I said extra onions & please Put the onions down first lol Don't forget Taylor, he cooks as well but seems to do it all well :) Waitress Stephanie ! Awesome! After asking what their favorite food was there cheesesteak melt bingo lol I didn't even know you get jalapeños grilled there :) Needless to say five stars, this is as good as it gets :) I will be a regular ! Oh first day health inspector , They passed, yes, that covers the food :) Second day jukebox maintenance so that covers the ambience :) I'm sure they had other waitresses, but I was lucky to get Stephanie for all three visits and of course that covers the great service :) They had other people working there. I know Lisa she was a great sport and a couple other people I did not know the names of. Let's be honest with ourselves for a minute; Waffle House is basically a McDonald's where you pay at the end of your meal instead of the beginning. I don't expect sit down restaurant service or exquisite food here. If I'm at Waffle House, I want greasy, cheap food and i expect to be harassed by the staff. Of course, on this occasion I was not harassed by any team members. Basically, once you abandon all expectations, this place is great! My boyfriend and I were taken care of by Jasmine; she was a nice staff member who was also super busy helping out the other diners (the place was packed). She wasn't able to be super prompt all the time, but she tried her best as the restaurant filled up. We ordered a breakfast platter with over easy eggs, toast, hash browns and sausage. I ordered an additional waffle. We got to watch the food being made right in front of us and within 5 minutes we had our food! Not loud like a jet engine or a car backfiring, more like a jet engine backfiring machine-gun style as children wail, their parents bicker, dishes break, and the wait staff riles up the kitchen crew. It's a relatively clean Waffle House, and it was pretty much empty when we went to eat on a Thursday evening. I've been to this location many times in the past and never had a problem with it. Of course, the location is small but that's typical of any Waffle House I've been to. The food is cheap and the service is fast. The staff is usually very friendly and helpful. My favorite thing to order is the All Star Special with the hash-browns, bacon, a chocolate chip waffle, and eggs over-easy. Worst Waffle House ever. I went here for breakfast when I was running some errands in Covington and should have gone somewhere else. Even the Waffle House on the other side of town would've probably been better. You know what you are getting when you go to Waffle House. It is not Brennan's but is a quick, cheap breakfast. However, this Waffle House is beyond the pale. The one star is for the nice young lady who got me a clean coffee cup after my actual server (who was borderline surly) gave me a filthy one. The coffee was pretty terrible and, from my vantage point on a stool, the cooking stations did not look appetizing. The kicker thought was my server. She absolutely made me feel unwelcome. read more

I don't know what kind of ax Fairy L has to grind, but what s/he is saying just isn't true. The place is clean, the service is great, and the food is great. I've been there at least once a month for about a year. Yes, families with kids are sometimes present. If you don't like children, go to Chez Connard and get over yourself. If you want your egg whites cooked through, the phrase is "over medium," not "over easy." But calling this WH dirty is just a lie. read more

The absolute worst Waffle House! Phone off the hook everytime you call to place a Togo order. When you show up and ask about the phone they tell you that oh someone must have left it off the hook and don't proceed to fix it. They literally gave four groups eating and they are not taking phone orders. Waitresses are rude. Once time I came and they locked the store for said it's going to take 30 minutes for food cause they are on a break! They truly need a corporate intervention! read more

We usually hit this Waffle House 2 or 3 times a month. We always have the same thing, me a Texas bacon cheesesteak melt with hash browns. Wife has chicken breast with hash browns. Always comes hot and cooked to order. They do tend to have a terrible waitress from time to time but at least the guys on the grill handle their business! read more

Dirty dirty store. Walked in today to an infestation of flies. I'm not talking about 3 or 4 flies. I'm talking about 30 plus flies crawling all over the patrons, tables, and food.
