I came here one Saturday after work and I was feeling very hungry so I decided to come to this place. After being on my feet all day and didn't eat much all day, I was very ravenous. When I step through the door and sat down at a booth close to the window, I was warmly greeted by the waitress by the name of Jennifer. She quickly took my order and my food was brought to me hot and fresh. This is one of the best Waffle Houses in the CSRA. Awesome service and excellent people who make you feel right at home.

Had the worst experience at WH....ordered my usual, all star breakfast....once the waitress decides to serve me....apparently they had just had a rush and homegirl was spent....she sat there on her phone a few minutes before getting up to serve (left this outta my formal complaint with WH)....anyways, i place my order...all star with eggs over easy...SAUSAGE....hash browns... rasin toast and a light waffle...ok...so, i am patiently waiting...get my food back and the hashbrowns are "warmish"....with BACON....i say to self, ok...no big deal.. I'll eat around the bacon and let the young lady know the order is wrong towards the end of my meal...she had already seated another table and their orders were wrong too at this time and they were making a big deal out of it...new cook/manager so they were being tested...i said to self, be the better person , Sam...and just be a good Christian and offer advice towards end of meal...at this point, i have already checked outta eating anything else and was just sitting..observing and tcb on phone...at about this time, my spidey senses [no pun intended] tells me to turn around and check window...why did i do that???!!!! Low and behold, at the bottom on the window sill, there's a BLACK WIDOW just camped out in her web!! I'm like "Lord!!!" If i had backed up against the window, like i sometimes do, my butt would have been bitten....at this time, i just took various pics for my FORMAL complaint with corporate and paid the bill...gave the young lady waitress a good tip (bill 8 bucks and gave her a 20 and kept it moving)...and notified the manager of the spider...the manager/cook went over to booth what bug spray (assuming) and then had booth cleaned....needless to say that this site is off the list....sent email and pics to corporate...will give them a day or 2 to respond....

The usual...what can I say?!? Waffle House has been consistent no matter the location. The cook and waitress were on point! We'll be back. I hope to see more keto aka carbless options on the menu!

Yummy coffee and tea!!

The food was AMAZING. The only thing I didnt like was the servers attitude towards us. We were very nice and polite to her. It just seem like once a certain type of skin color came in she would be happy and cheerful towards them....but gave my husband and I attitude. NOT RIGHT!!!

Cool!

Brunch is serious business in Augusta and after one visit to The Brunch House of Augusta I…read morecompletely understand why this place stays packed. While in town for the weekend my husband and I wanted brunch somewhere unique to Augusta instead of another chain restaurant, and after scrolling Yelp and seeing all the glowing reviews we decided to give this Black owned, family operated spot a try. I noticed online that you can make a reservation for a $20 fee that gets deducted from your check. At first I was a little surprised, but after seeing how busy this place is, it makes total sense. We decided to roll the dice without a reservation anyway. When we arrived on a Saturday morning there were already several people waiting outside. There isn't really an indoor waiting area, so the hospitable hostess took my name and phone number and kindly asked us to wait outside. Later I noticed the sign explaining the process. She quoted us a 40-minute wait, but thankfully we were seated in about half that time. Inside, the restaurant is quaint and cozy with a classic diner feel complete with counter seating and booths. The ambiance is casual and welcoming. If you have a larger party, there are a couple of outdoor tables that appear to accommodate around six people, but personally I think this spot is best enjoyed with a smaller group. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and kept everything moving smoothly despite the busy brunch crowd. My husband ordered the chicken and waffles while I went with the Garden City breakfast bowl loaded with veggies and home fries plus a salmon croquette on the side. Every single thing tasted homemade and full of flavor. This is what Southern comfort food is supposed to taste like. My husband said the chicken was seasoned well and fried perfectly, and the waffle paired with it beautifully. My breakfast bowl reminded me of the kind of breakfast my grandma used to make, comforting, flavorful, and cooked with care. Portion sizes were just right,  enough to leave satisfied without feeling miserable afterward. Prices were also very reasonable for the quality of food and service we received. Stellar customer service, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere. If I ever find myself back in Augusta, this will absolutely be one of my repeat stops.

Food was well seasoned and portions were good for the cost. Started off with the Visalia Onion Dip and Bravas and Brussels. Then for main meals I got the daily special which was a Blackened Pork Chop over Mashed Potatoes with a side of Crispy Brussels Sprouts. My wife had the Prime Rib which was seasoned to perfection. Our kids had the Blackened Salmon and the other had the Chicken Caprese. Everything tasted great and we had wanted to go here and finally did and will most likely be back again for a different dish or two... and sorry I only got one pic of the drink we got, oops.

We were there on a 95 degree day. When we were seated our waitress brought us a carafe of water and 2 glasses. Room temperature water and no ice. I asked for ice and she brought us a cup of ice. Not really enough for 2 people and it melted down as soon as I poured water over it. I figured that the only way I would get ice was to order a drink, so I ordered ice tea. That usually comes with ice. Right?? Well our waitress said that she had to brew me a fresh cup of tea which when you pour that over ice the ice melts away and again I had a glass of room temperature tea. I couldn't get a cold drink here to save my life. And did I mention that it was 95 degrees out? My wife ordered a Rubin sandwich, not realizing that it was a spicy sandwich. One bite and she was done. She doesn't like spicy food so I traded her for my simple bacon egg sandwich on a bagel and I had her spicy Rubin. And it was spicy! They had a mustard that must've been made with jalapeño and if you like heat, you will like this. Plenty of parking. Full bar. Clean restroom. Very average.

The valet folks were friendly, everybody smiled, and for a moment I thought we might have stumbled onto one of those places where Southern hospitality still gets practiced instead of just printed on brochures. The inn itself has that old-school charm. The front porch alone looks like it has stories to tell, and most of them are probably better than the ones you'll hear at the average chain hotel breakfast buffet. The room was nice enough, though getting to it felt a little like a low-impact obstacle course. After stepping off the elevator, there were three steps to negotiate before reaching the room. No big deal. I shuffled the luggage and carried on. Then I discovered the room itself was split-level, complete with three more steps. That arrangement seemed perfectly reasonable until the 3 a.m. trip to the bathroom, when those same steps suddenly became an adventure sport. One suggestion: every room ought to have a proper nightstand and a place to charge the electronic gadgets that have become attached to modern Americans like an extra limb. We may not all travel with a typewriter anymore, but most of us carry enough electronics to launch a small satellite. Things got a little more interesting when hunger arrived. We tried to make restaurant reservations through the Resy link on the hotel's website. No luck. The restaurant wasn't listed. Fine. Technology fails. It happens. So I called the restaurant. No answer. Turns out the restaurant number appears to be the same as the front desk. I left a message and waited about 45 minutes for a callback. Never got one. Again, no big deal. DoorDash and an Indian restaurant came to the rescue. While pondering the mystery of the missing callback, I found myself staring out the window. That's when I noticed the paint splatters and streaks all over the glass. Now, I don't know who handles maintenance around there, but somebody needs to explain that painting a window and cleaning a window are two entirely different activities. And that's really the story of the Partridge Inn. Nice people. Pleasant room. Plenty of charm. But charm can only carry you so far when attention to detail keeps missing the bus. The little things matter because they add up. The unanswered phone, the broken reservation link, the paint on the windows, the awkward room layout--they're all small by themselves. Together, they're enough to make me appreciate the stay but probably not enough to make me come back for another one.

The place was a bright and welcoming environment and we're greeted and seated right away. We started off with some of their fresh juices. I highly recommend the Morning Meditation (that turmeric/ginger kick is great) and my buddy got the infamous Purple Haze. A buddy of mine talks highly about it. The butterfly pea flower tea makes the Purple Haze look awesome, and it's actually really refreshing. Let's talk about their chocolate chip pancake! They aren't joking when they say "enormous." It was the size of the plate and loaded with chips perfect for the table to pick at. Now, I love eggs, so I had to get their Elevated Egg Sandwich. This was a hit. The combination of Gruyère, smashed avocado, and that brioche bun makes it way better than your standard breakfast sandwich. My buddy got the Eggs Benedict with Bob's Red Mill Red Grits, the Benedict was cooked perfectly with a great hollandaise, but the real star for me was the side of grits. You can tell they use high-quality Bob's Red Mill it was so creamy and seasoned just right. Overall, the service was great, which is impressive because this place can get busy. It was the perfect environment to sit back, eat well, and enjoy some time with the guys.
