Eggs up is a new, and welcome, addition to the Augusta breakfast scene. I took my mom here recently and we both had a very pleasant meal. Several things stood out to me. First, we were the only people there and it wasn't crazy early. So, I feel like the secret isn't out yet and they are still looking to get some traction. Second, it is a beautiful spot. Pristinely clean and brand spanking new. Third, the service was fantastically friendly and prompt. I really liked the pay at the table option. It made it much easier to settle up and head out. I will absolutely be returning the next time I need a solid breakfast. It is well worth a visit in my opinion.

I've gone a few times and each time I've gotten exceptional service and the food was amazing! The food is seasoned perfectly and the size portions I have no complaints. I'm always taking food home. It's an upbeat place but stop quaint enough.

I just want to say this personally from my experience. You may want to go on another day , but never Sunday. Sundays is one of the most busiest days and if you choose to go here you have to get here early. A specific you want to get a good seat. I came here after church and it was very busy inside. So I decided to eat outside instead, which wasn't that bad concerning. It wasn't even that hot. But. I have to say it took longer for me to get my food than I thought. I waited about thirty 52 forty five minutes for my food but it was worth the review. I highly recommend this restaurant, but if you intend to come here, get here early.Otherwise you will be waiting a long time to eat.

Good thing we were dressed for outside because it's an icebox in this place. We were greeted and sat right by the door at 12:30. About twenty minutes in, they sat a table of eight right next to us, might as well have been with us. I believe our servers names was Bethany but don't quote me , she was nice enough but the wait once we ordered was ridiculous. We got our food around 1:30. I ordered the shrimp and grits, hollandaise on the side. I think the andouille was a lil spicy but they could've been more sauteed. The shrimp was teeny tiny and the grits could've been cremier. My grandma had pancakes bacon and eggs, we actually switched eggs because her scramble was too runny. I enjoyed the meal but feel it could've been better. I didn't really check the rest of the menu out but I don't feel like I'll go back.

Service and atmosphere were excellent. My sons enjoyed their plates (omelette and BLT) . Sausage were cold and weird mushy inside my wife did not eat them. Food was cold. My plate would have been better if it was warm or hot. I would try one more time before I go more and never again.

Great Brunch spot! I have no bad thing to say about my experience. The staff were super friendly and food tasted great. Food was well seasoned and many choices. Quaint little spot. Don't expect huge restaurant. It is small. So not too large of a party. As for food, the cronuts are amazing!! They are the best and a must try. This is my new breakfast spot. They have healthier options but I'm not a health nut so I can't comment on those options. I wasn't looking at them. lol. However, if you just want a good breakfast (or lunch) it is a must try. Just not on the day I'm going (LOL)

This place is probably going to become one of my favorite brunch spots! I loved the atmosphere, and the service was super friendly. Most importantly, the coffee was pretty good, and they have a wide variety of options from Southern style dishes to classic breakfasts. The shrimp and grits portion was huge, and it was delicious, especially with the poached egg on top. The only downside was the scrambled eggs. They were a bit overcooked. But I'll definitely try them again next time. Overall, I was very satisfied with everything!

CRABACADO! YUM!

Happy to see Eggs up Grill come our way! Nice clean atmosphere and ambiance. Despite visiting on a busy Saturday morning, we were able to snag 1st come 1st serve seating at the bar! We were greeted with great service from B! Food took a little longer than expected but B kept the coffee hot and the food was worth the wait! I had the crabacado and it was full of deliciousness! Crabcakes, eggs and Avocado how can you go wrong? Hubs had the shrimp & grits, so i had to try some! 10 out of 10 recommended! We'll be back soon!

Hair in food. Slow service. Bland flavors. Wanted it to be great but with the prices it's just not worth it.

Best breakfast in Evan's my favorite dish is the chorizo egg bowl. Try it with half grits and home fries. The best breakfast in town.

We all stayed in the hotel, and she made it possible for us to rent a room to gather in during the day and evening. Such a wonderful person. Mr. Harvey checked us in and out and he was so informative and helpful. Boy, he sure can multitask - running two computers at once! Then there was Ms. Nikki and Ms. Kayla for breakfast. Such good customer service puts a smile on everyone's face. And those grits! What can I say? They speak for themselves. Then for dinner we split up with a table of twelve and a table of eleven. Mr. Steven the restaurant manager made the reservation go so well with such a large group. And there was even another event going on. Talk about being on point. Ms. LaShun was our waitress. And it was a joy. She was like a whirlwind serving many tables at once but always making sure our drinks and needs were met. The beds are so comfortable you can't help get a good night's sleep, and the hotel is so unique with its history displaced in different areas. Another thing I noticed is that they are very good on the upkeep of the hotel. I would also like to thank the housekeepers that keep the rooms clean. We didn't need service during our stay, but I wanted to mention how clean our room (#334) was when we arrived. Thank you very much for a job well done. We plan on coming back in June and can't wait.

The service was absolutely top-notch, the food was excellent, and the ambiance was certainly very mellow. Our server, Cassandra, was very friendly and knowledgeable. She took the time to explain the menu and made some great recommendations. Their menu is a southern American fusion for sure, putting unique spins on classic dishes. Here's what we had: Drinks: -Bottle of: Vitiani rosso Appetizer: -Charcuterie board (a la carte): -Bresaola (pork) -The drunken goat (Spanish cheese) -The red dragon cheddar cheese -Bacon Jam Dinner: -Pork loin chop -Confit duck pot pie -Beet carpaccio Salad The charcuterie board was very unique and delicious. Afterwards, my lady, and I split the beet salad, her dad had the pork loin, and her mom had the pot pie. Everything was absolutely delicious. After we finished, I met the owners, and told them how much we truly enjoyed it all. They were very appreciative of my compliments. We would certainly stop by here again.

It's always nice to try different meals. I would describe their menu- Southern American fusion. They serve appetizers, charcuterie boards, salads, entrees and dessert. The bacon jam went well with it. Then our entrees came out. My fiancée and I split the beet salad. So good! My dad demolished his plate. He really enjoyed his pork loin with the veggies. My mom raves about the duck pot pie. She's been telling her friends and family all about it. She had extra and took it home. We had a great experience that my fiancée wanted to meet the owner. Sarah was very sweet and nice to talk to. Everyone had a great time and loved the food! I can say we are fans and definitely coming back. Thanks for making our dining experience wonderful. Lots of seating options and we opted for the comfy little couch and chair in the back corner, which was great to just have coffee, a quick sandwich, and chat. There were several holiday specialty flavors to choose from and I went with the gingerbread spiced chai latte, and it was really good. My friend got the Good Tidings (think all the Thanksgiving flavors in one sandwich) special and I had serious jealousy over her food because I just got a simple breakfast sandwich and made the mistake of opting for sourdough instead of the amazing ciabatta it was supposed to come on. Everyone working there was so chill, the place was clean and bright, and super cute. Couple really cool things about this place: Christmas spirit & hospitality. There was they were doing a Christmas card drive for seniors in memory care/assisted living and had an assortment of blank cards and a pen for you to fill out while you drink your coffee and leave right there for them to deliver. It was bold, curious, mysterious and honestly had me asking for the name of the coffee before I left! We had a server in training, so two servers! Both were outstanding! Quick to refill our drinks and remove plates that were empty. The food.....let me just say I not only spoke with management, I also was able to speak with the head chef to give my praise. I am not one to sing false praise, trust me. When I tell you I have never, ever, had a brunch as delicious as his!!! I am a French toast connoisseur, and his was a 12/10! There was not one bite of food that wasn't outstanding. I was truly impressed, with his creativity and his attention to detail because it shined like a diamond from the front of house all the way down to the sweet lady filling the cakes when I was taking my pictures for this review! "Let me get it all full and pretty now before you get those pictures!" I mean, if she wasn't just the sweetest thing, and took 100% pride in her work. Same with the gentleman working the omelet station. He came in the day before to prep the fish (which is a long day of work!) The love they put into each dish truly shines through effortlessly! With permission, personally, I would suggest they rename their Sunday Brunch to "Soul-filled Sunday Brunch" because #1 I left ready to go to sleep! #2 I had a religious experienced during that meal, in blessings and dining I have only ever had at Church Potlucks! #3 It elevated some fancy and some common foods to such heights, I was expect to be hearing gospel music while I ate! #4 Personally, I hope heaven's banquet table is much like today's-full of love, flavor and most importantly-community! It's been near a decade since I've seen that many smiling people all in one place! While I will have to limit how often I come for Brunch lest my clothes start shrinking! Edgar's by far, takes the trophy for elevated dining experiences in Augusta, Ga! Best of all, a percentage of all their sales goes back directly into Helms College (located in the same shopping center.) Bodega isn't going anywhere, I am. And as I begin the moving process I have created a mental list of places I will miss in the Augusta area. And trust me, I know all the places. Fancy, hole-in-the-wall, no online presence, hyper online presence. I know all about them. And Bodega has consistently been a go-to spot for me over the years. Typically it is a Sunday morning/early afternoon, with a cup of coffee, and about half the time a soft shelled crab sandwich. Every other time, I throw caution to the wind. Could be a biscuit. Could be a pulled pork sandwich or The Lox. Who knows. But here's what I do know. The service, ambiance, and quality of what I order is always always at a level of excellence. And where else can you interact with the furry team member (Ash) as part of the experience? Such a relaxing spot, with the ceiling fans cooling you off (and the table fans keeping flies at bay) and the fountain trickling in the background. Please, if you are in the area be sure to go by and make up for my absence!
