Our server was a great girl. She knew we were gonna sit there for a while amd catch up. And she knew that we wouldn't really have a very big ticket. I knew it too, and i'm a big tipper. Absolutely horrible experience and food quality. Ordered online the night before for 9am pickup. Got there at 9:05 and two other gentlemen were waiting in front of me. The first guy was complaining he was waiting already 30 mins for his 830 pickup order. I was told my order just came thru because I chose 9. Uh, 9 is the pickup not when I expected them to get the order. 40 mins later I came back and nobody acknowledged me for 10 mins. I asked someone and they said it still wasn't ready. Then someone a minute later asked me what I was waiting on and it was indeed ready and the first person just didn't check because I saw it there the whole time in the back counter. Ordered the waffle sandwich and it had zero taste and 2 strips of bacon that were severely undercooked. My daughter got the Classic with home fries and they were soggy, and the toaste wasn't toasted at all. My wife got the creme brulee French toast and was telling me it tasted like lemon. We stopped by the new Eggs Up Grill in Evans and were pleasantly surprised! You can tell they're still getting into the swing of things, but they're already off to a solid start. The food was delicious and fresh, and the staff was friendly and upbeat even with how busy it was. We went on a weekend with a group of seven and ended up waiting about 30 minutes for a table, which honestly wasn't bad considering how packed the place was. Eggs up is a new, and welcome, addition to the Augusta breakfast scene. I took my mom here recently and we both had a very pleasant meal. Several things stood out to me. First, we were the only people there and it wasn't crazy early. So, I feel like the secret isn't out yet and they are still looking to get some traction. Second, it is a beautiful spot. Pristinely clean and brand spanking new. Third, the service was fantastically friendly and prompt. I really liked the pay at the table option. It made it much easier to settle up and head out. Sundays is one of the most busiest days and if you choose to go here you have to get here early. A specific you want to get a good seat. Good thing we were dressed for outside because it's an icebox in this place. We were greeted and sat right by the door at 12:30. About twenty minutes in, they sat a table of eight right next to us, might as well have been with us. I believe our servers names was Bethany but don't quote me , she was nice enough but the wait once we ordered was ridiculous. We got our food around 1:30. I ordered the shrimp and grits, hollandaise on the side. I think the andouille was a lil spicy but they could've been more sauteed. The shrimp was teeny tiny and the grits could've been cremier. My grandma had pancakes bacon and eggs, we actually switched eggs because her scramble was too runny. I enjoyed the meal but feel it could've been better. Walker is the BEST server and she takes care of you like you're a part of her family. She makes sure you're happy, and who does that anymore???? The food is great, and be sure and look at the specials/limited time items. You might see something that'll catch your eye and make you feel good on the inside. I'm glad they put up curtains, because the light was killing my eyes when I ate. This shows that they really listen to their customers and want them to be comfy. Great Brunch spot! I have no bad thing to say about my experience. The staff were super friendly and food tasted great. Food was well seasoned and many choices. Quaint little spot. Don't expect huge restaurant. It is small. So not too large of a party. As for food, the cronuts are amazing!! They are the best and a must try. This is my new breakfast spot. They have healthier options but I'm not a health nut so I can't comment on those options. I wasn't looking at them. lol. However, if you just want a good breakfast (or lunch) it is a must try. This place is probably going to become one of my favorite brunch spots! I loved the atmosphere, and the service was super friendly. Most importantly, the coffee was pretty good, and they have a wide variety of options from Southern style dishes to classic breakfasts. The shrimp and grits portion was huge, and it was delicious, especially with the poached egg on top. The only downside was the scrambled eggs. They were a bit overcooked. Have been there a couple more times and had their pancakes. They are good, especially the blueberry and the chocolate chip ones. And if you don't want the side of meat, you may have two eggs. They recognize the veterans by giving them a discount. The music is way too loud, you would think that you are in a bar. when eating, the music should be easy, listening music. I would like to rate this place a zero; however that's not an option. Terrible experience to the point where we didn't even get to try the food. Arrived and my party of four was told 15-20 minutes. Various parties of 2 came in and they were seated immediately. I don't understand why they didn't hold off on seating 2 table tops for 2 and put those together for us instead of prolonging our wait. So we get punished because we're not a party of two?? There was 1 man in a 4 table top and he sat there waiting for his party for the time we were waiting. Don't understand why they would seat a person when their entire party hasn't arrived. Various people we saw waiting on their food for a good 25 minutes. 31 minutes later we are finally sat. Right by the door which this place is so small with no waiting area it felt like I was sitting on top of the cash register. 12 minutes later we still did not have a waiter. At 10 minutes another waitress looks at us and asked if we're ok. We said no we have not had a server. She said sorry I'll see about Jenna she's your waitress. Well nothing, still sat there. In the meantime, a huge DoorDash order came out. This place can't even handle the in-house business but prioritizes a to go order? That's probably why no one was getting their food and sitting there forever. We had enough so we left. This restaurant is not organized enough to handle more than 10 customers. My partner and I have eaten at Eggs Up a few times since they opened. The service has always been good and the wait staff is attentive unless the place is really busy. Initially, the food was very good, but the quality was not up to the original standards for our two recent visits. The best way to describe it is a general lack of quality control in the kitchen. Pancakes described as light and fluffy were mashed flat. Scrambled eggs that obviously had started out as fried eggs that the line cook had tried to disguise. A vegetable omelette with the vegetables swimming in the grease they had been sautéed in. Serving poorly prepared food like this will kill a new restaurant. I strongly recommend getting someone in the kitchen that knows what they're doing before it causes you to lose customers. read more

They have different coffee drinks, so many different food options and the service is amazing. Our server Samaura was attentive and very helpful with deciding on food! I have been to this restaurant many times since it opened. My favorite dish is the crabocado. The problem with this dish though is there is no quality control. One time it comes out with three or four pieces of avocado, the next it comes out with a half an avocado and the last time it came out with one piece the size of half my pinky and very sloppily put together. I had decided to not write this review because it still did taste good. Then yesterday someone I know ate at your restaurant and ordered the strawberry and crème pancakes. They too were disappointed when it came out with four tiny pieces of strawberry on it. If an ingredient is in the name of the dish this shouldn't be happening. I really hope you will take this review and work on improving your kitchen. I've also found service to be slow and it's not because of the wait staff. They never seem to stop and have always been very attentive. This also, I assume, is a kitchen problem. read more
