    Avocado Cheese Rangoon (5)
    Jenny T.

3.5 stars but rounded up because I would go back. My friend and I came here for dinner on a Sunday evening. It was pretty quiet, so we were seated upon arrival. Food: I started with the avocado cheese wontons as I was surprised they weren't crab rangoons. They were pretty good. I would order them again. I ordered the vegetarian pho, and it was as I expected it. Service: Service was ultimately okay. Our server didn't check up on us during our meal at all. My vegetarian pho came out later than my friends regular pho as well. TL;DR - not bad food, a little slow service

WOw this is Definitely a Pho-Fect place to eat variety of Vietnamese Dishes including our favorite pho noodles soup right here in the Campbell by Santa Clara Area. Our first time here and we absolutely loving this vibrant elegant and beautiful atmospheres! Interior is simple and lovely!! Fast quick and friendly services! Loving the bright full bar drinks station, Lovely spacious Indoor and outdoor seatings area, delicious boba drinks, and the delightful cocktails too!!! We had a wonderful afternoon lounging and eating our food and drinks!!!! I will absolutely be coming back with my friends!!!!!! February01, 2026

I love coming here on my days off to fill up on this pho and I always get an extra serving of egg noodles. I don't know if it's authentic pho, but I really like it; I'm literally obsessed with this soup. It's a nice spot, and there's parking nearby. I love sitting outside because the internet doesn't work inside. Or does it? I didn't ask. The staff here are very polite and friendly. I recommend it if you like rich, hearty soups with plenty of meat.

One of my local favorites! I really love their flavors and the depth of the broth in their pho, i think the one that made my best friend get is like a dry rub noodle dish but then there's like a side of broth but we like to mix it together . The rice dishes are nice as well. We got a side of fries and coconut juice and that was delicious as well. Service is excellent and Ambience is perfect and cozy and to be honest there's not too many amazing pho places on this side of San Jose so it's great to have one near me.

One of my favorite Vietnamese spots in the Campbell area. San Jose is not too far from Campbell but if I'm feeling under the weather and not up to taking a drive, I make a stop at VPho I usually opt for the Vermicelli Bowl or the Bun Bo Hue (Spicy Beef and Pork Noodle Soup). The Bun Bo Hue is rich and fatty with a nice mild spice. If you aren't familiar with the flavor, it can be quite pungent but I generally enjoy the complexity of flavor of BBH compared to Pho. My partner usually goes for the Beef Pho. When you're under the weather, pho feels like a miracle cure. If you like chicken pho but prefer the darker meat cuts of chicken, check out their Free Range Chicken Pho. It's reminiscent of the chicken you would often find when eating a Vietnamese style chicken salad (Goi Ga).

Late night pho spot in Campbell?!? That's an automatic 3/5 minimum. Anything extra is just a bonus. Very surprised and excited that there's a pho restaurant that opens all the way til 10:30pm. I honestly didn't even care if it was good the day I walked in. Sometimes you just need a late night bowl on a cold day after a long day of work. The interior is deceivingly huge. The main dining room has super tall ceilings and they have booths quite literally everywhere. Tables are kind of high though. There's a more intimate dining room closer to the entrance by the bar. Service is nice. They're quick to order and come by a few times. It does feel kind of spooky because it's so empty and there wasn't music playing. The Safeway gas station lights also don't help the plaza look that inviting. Very convenient location though with plenty of parking. Ordered the house combination pho with fresh noodles which was a dollar ($1) upgrade. That stacked with the automatic 4% surcharge for credit cards brings the bowl up to $17.46 before tax. Really not a terrible price for this side of town. The noodles were great, meats were tasty, soup was lacking in depth. Not very beefy and didn't come out piping hot. It was still very enjoyable and I did finish. Overall, I can't quite push this to a 4/5 as there are better options in the area during the day time. It's right at a 3.5/5 for me (7/10). I would return and explore the rest of the menu when I'm lazy to drive across town. Great for the area. Food is a very respectable 3/5, half point bump for late hours every day. 11pm-3pm, 5pm-10:30pm at the time of this review. Hoping to update the review soon!

Couple thoughts: Ambience is amazing, usually pho places don't have the best seating arrangements and are cramped and crowded wjth hardly any seats. Vpho is very modern. Food was tasty and flavorful. Ordered the House Pho as well as the veggie broth. Your standard pho, thought they were a tad short on the meat. The table was a bit unstable, which was annoying but we dealt with it. The service here is not very fast. There was only 1-2 people on the clock and the restaurant was less than 20% full and it took a really long time to get the bill as well as utensils/ other items we wanted. Wish they had more staff.

After a long day of shopping, we decided to stop by here to order some food to go. We were greeted right away by a friendly waiter upon entering the restaurant. They have an extensive menu and they serve liquor as well. We ordered the grilled pork and egg rice plate, grilled chicken banh mi, and grilled pork banh mi. We waited for about 15 to 20 minutes for our order. The grilled pork was tender and juicy. The egg was cooked sunny side up. The bread for the banh mi sandwiches were very crispy and crunchy. The grilled chicken and pork were flavorful. The jalapeños added an extra kick to it. The prices are fairly reasonable and they were generous with the portions. We'll be back to try their pho and garlic noodles.

First time. A very clean and modernish restaurant with cozy booths in there dining area. Ample parking as this restaurant is located in a small strip mall. Staff was friendly and attentive. The food was served not long after order placement. The pho oodles are tender, but not soggy, broth is perfectly balanced. Filet mignon is pillowy soft. Meet easily slides off the bone. Egg rolls were filled and full of flavor , of good size, hot to the bite, and the skin was delicately crispy. A great find for a yummy meal.

No big deal, as I wanted the bar anyway, but something others should keep in mind. The cocktail list is plentiful and intriguing. I tend to avoid tequila, so that eliminated a good chunk of the options. I went with Rose Colored Lenses, which was fantastic, and decently sized. Presentation was beautiful. My friend had All a Dream, also very good. The wine offerings are minimal, this is very much a cocktail or champagne type of place, with caviar being the primary food service. Speaking of service, the bartender was excellent, both in his mixology and demeanor. It took awhile to get the drinks, but I assume that was due to the complexity of the cocktails, paired with having just opened the doors a few min earlier. Two notes: 1. The barstools were a little too low, imo. I don't normally pay much attention to that detail, but these were uncomfortably low for me, even with my long torso, I was hyper aware of my posture. So maybe that's actually a good thing 2. Other patrons were rolling in shortly behind me, so there is probably an early crowd when they first open, then a late night group that appreciates the 2am closing time. Interior is beautiful, and you can use the steps up to the 2nd floor either from N Santa Cruz or the rear parking lot off W Main. More substantial food options are a mere few steps across the hall at Heritage.

While it did help with the steamy temps inside, wow did it ruin the night for those who sit close to the door! It was very cold and windy so maybe leaving it too open was an uninformed choice. The crab was very fresh and each crostini had a large portion of crab on top. The Brussels sprouts were very crispy and very umami with the cheese and bacon combination mixed in. The empanada was honestly a showstopper. I don't know how to describe it other than you have to try it. Both pastas were good but I prefer the mushroom one over the short rib ragu. The halibut was also good, and the basil sauce made it even better. I was already super impressed with everything but I think the stars were the 2 desserts. The Dubai cheesecake was an Italian style cheesecake, so it was a lot lighter than I was expecting (which was welcomed) and captured the essence of Dubai chocolate without being too overwhelming. The Lira in Wonderland was also SO good. It had a crown of cotton candy and was a mix of biscoff cookies, dehydrated red velvet cake (don't knock it till you try it), butterscotch sauce, and strawberries. We dined at Lira on November 14th. The Service (or Lack Thereof): The Menu Shortage: We arrived for our 6:45 PM reservation only to be told by the manager that they didn't have enough menus. We were told they'd bring them "later." Ignored for 35+ Minutes: We sat with nothing but water for over half an hour. To make matters worse, a table of six was seated after us and received their full entrees while we were completely ignored. The Drink Mess: After 40 minutes, the server told me they were out of ingredients for my drink. When I picked a second option, she tried to insist I wanted a drink with celery (my most despised vegetable). We thankfully stopped her before it was made, but the incompetence was staggering. The Food Fiasco: An hour into our reservation, someone dropped off a scallop dish. A while later, a server asked if I'd "received the scallops yet," and I realized the plate I was eating wasn't even intended for our table. We were so starving that my husband and I just shared them. Once we finished, the server finally asked my husband if he "still wanted his meal or if he wanted to cancel it." I finally lost my cool - of course he still wanted his dinner! The Aftermath: My husband didn't realize that my friends had actually made a separate reservation to take me back to this same spot the following night for a second birthday celebration. After this performance, there was no way I was going to step foot in this building again or give them another cent of our money. I texted my friends from the table to cancel those reservations and book elsewhere. With service this disorganized and insulting, this restaurant won't be in business long. Super disappointing. Don't waste your special occasions here. *Edit - it looks like Lira has closed. With the service we experienced, I am not surprised in the slightest. I am hopeful that whichever future business occupies this space is more successful.

The true highlight of the evening, however, was Chef Nicko. He also added the occasional history and inspiration behind a plate. Hearing the stories behind the food transformed an extraordinary menu into an unforgettable narrative experience. What made the night truly magical was how the food shifted the entire dynamic at the table. Our usual family dinner conversation completely dissolved, refocused entirely around each plate as it arrived. It felt like my family transformed instantly to a group of passionate foodies, analyzing textures, debating flavor profiles, and marveling at the presentation. With a meal this spectacular, it is nearly impossible to pick out a single "best" plate. Instead, if I were returning for a solo dinner and had to build my ultimate dream menu, here is exactly what I would order: To Start: the marinated olives, the pristine crudo, and the perfectly prepared octopus. The Main Event: A split pasta course of the rich tagliatelle and ravioli, followed by the filet mignon and the spectacular bone-in pork chop. The Finale: You cannot leave without ordering both the bright lemon pie and the classic, decadent tiramisu.
