11/15/2025 came here for dinner w friends The inside is very spacious and has a cozy vibe. all the staff were friendly and welcoming. ordered spring roll (friend), fresh rolls, Ginger aromatic chicken, and chocolate mousse. Fresh rolls and spring rolls were both amazing (2 for $7.25/ 4 for $11.25/ 8 for $19.25) Fresh rolls came with peanut and fish dipping sauce. A little sad that a lot of the fresh roll was bean sprouts and not noodles. Feels a little cheap. Spring rolls containing veggies inside was fantastic. Piping hot right out of the fryer. I could not get enough of it. Definitely worth the try for first-time visitors. I tried the ginger aromatic chicken this time $16.75, which came with rice and a very very small bowl of veggies that I think lack sauce. The Chicken on the other side was very flavorful, slightly dry. Lastly, the dessert was a surprisingly good finish to the meal. Always great to dine here.

We've been going to Khanh's Garden (original and current location) for years. They have there own parking lot, so parking is ok. The interior is simple decor with modern furnishings. The service is nice and friendly. Our usual entrees are the following...AND we've tried a lot of different dishes! *Egg Rolls / Cha Giò: Pork filled fried rolls served with fresh lettuce (for outside wrapping) and Khanh's seasoning sauce (4/5). *Fresh Rolls / Gỏi Cuốn: Steamed lean pork, shrimp, and fresh vegetables wrapped in rice paper served with dipping sauce & crushed roasted peanuts (4/5). *Beef Noodle Soup / Phở Bò: Beef and rice noodles in a savory beef broth (brisket available upon request) served with fresh garnish (3/5). *BBQ Pork Noodles / Bún Thịt Heo Nướng: Grilled marinated pork slices atop vermicelli noodles, garnished with fresh herbs, chopped scallions, and served with crisp lettuce (4/5). *Grilled Shrimp & BBQ Pork Noodles / Bún Tôm Thịt: Rice vermicelli noodles topped with grilled shrimp and BBQ pork, typically includes a blend of herbs, cucumber, pickled carrots, and a garnish of peanuts, served with a side of fish sauce (4/5). *Vietnamese Special Rice / Cơm Tay Cầm: A combination of fragrant, ginger infused rice cooked together with Chinese sausage, mushrooms, and grilled chicken served with a green salad (4/5). This is my wife's favorite dish here. *Lemongrass Aromatic Chicken / Cơm Gà Sả Ớt: White chicken meat caramelized in lemongrass seasoning served with steamed rice and a green salad (3.5/5). *BBQ Chicken: Grilled marinated boneless chicken thigh served with steamed rice and a green salad (4/5). This is my brother's go-to dish and my first introduction to Khanh's. *BBQ Beef / Cơm Bò Nướng Sả: Grilled lemongrass beef rolls filled with onions topped with crushed peanuts and served with steamed rice and a green salad (4/5). *Grilled Beef Ribs With Gourmet Sauce (Korean BBQ Style) (4/5). My mom's favorite. Though, this has gotten so pricey for the portion size. *Shaken Beef: Marinated cubes of fillet mignon pan seared with a perfectly browned outer crust and tender juicy bite served with your choice of steamed rice or french roll (4/5). One of our favorite dishes. Not to say that it is the best. We were introduced to this dish for the first time here. I can't help but get either their Vietnamese Ice Coffee or the Che desserts whenever I dine in.

came here a while back with super high expectations upon seeing social media review. we ordered the plate (forgot name) that has both pork n shrimp n can make a spring roll yourself and that was pretty good but pretty pricey for what they were. we also ordered beef pho n it was a subpar. mostly non asians here in the restaurant. service was pretty good and friendly tho. may try again.

A nostalgic restaurant for many Vietnamese Americans, Khanh's Restaurant more recently opened up their new location in Campbell, replacing the well known location in Santa Clara/San Jose near Valley Fair. The vibes are just as similar as the previous one, with cozy chairs and tables and a room dedicated to larger parties. For our large group of friends, we ordered many dishes, including a soup dish that included tomatoes & pineapples, crispy chicken, spring rolls & egg rolls & shrimp chips, and a few desserts including a delicious but slightly too sweet chocolate mousse. The food came out in a timely manner even with our group, and they gave plenty of plates and utensils for the food we all shared. We stayed a bit past closing time, and they were quite accommodating of us and gave us gentle reminders. I like this new Khanh's location!

Mouthwatering scrumptious as hell amazing food!! I will always go here whenever I'm in the bay. Flavors are wonderful, ingredients are fresh, and it always hits the spot. Good spot for families to come! Would recommend!

Clean and simple Vietnamese restaurant. I was curious about this place and thought we'd give it a shot. Upon walking in, the restaurant is really big and spacious. Plenty of seats for large parties. There are definitely a lot of regulars here. The staff seem to know all the patrons and their regular orders. The staff are really friendly and attentive. We ordered a sampler of appetizers which were all delicious. The shaking beef which was tender and flavorful. And a crispy egg noodle dish. The plates are a more on the pricier side (considering it is in Campbell), but I am curious to try the other dishes! Overall, it's a on the "fancier" side of Vietnamese restaurants in comparison to a lot of the OG places in east/south San Jose. The flavors are a bit more mild in my opinion, but overall a solid place.

We were really impressed with this place. Vietnamese food is one of John's favorites and we happen to be driving by one day. The inside is very different from your typical Vietnamese restaurant. We loved it with the booths and diner/family style feel. The service was excellent--kind of upscale. The food was good. We'll definitely return and maybe come back to celebrate my birthday with the family.

Khanh Do Attitude Locally-owned mom-and-pop restaurant that's been serving authentic Vietnamese cuisine to the South Bay for nearly forty-five years (1981). They've moved around quite a bit over the years, with their last location being on Winchester Blvd across from The Row. This current location (±3yrs) is at the old Carrow's (RiP), and is well-suited for them and their clientele. The Good: *Private parking lot, as well as street parking available. *Great service and not at all like your typical ESSJ Viet restaurant, where they rush you thru and treat you like garbage. *Private party room available (min 25 max 40) *Nothing says class like smooth jazz in the background. :) *Booths!! I friggin love booths. :))) *Bottled beers (nothing fancy) and wine *Fresh Rolls (aka Gỏi Cuốn) were fresh and tasty, and I liked that they gave you options and price breaks on how many rolls you want (2,4, or 6). My only complaint was the dipping sauce wasn't the typical peanut sauce but soy sauce and a handful of peanuts thrown in. I mean it was fine once I added some Sriracha and hoisin to it, but still a bit odd. *Vietnamese Beef Stew (aka Bò Kho) was delicious and one of the best renditions I'd had in a while. The broth had a nice deep flavor and all the veggies and beef were cooked to perfection. My only complaint was I wish it had more beef, but that's always my complaint. *oink oink* :8) *Speaking of the Bò Kho, I got the more traditional baguette to go along with it and it was phenomenal. I'm not sure if they make it on house, but it was a very good baguette. I bet their bánh mìs are fantastic. *Carissa loved their Ginger Chicken (aka Gà Kho Gừng) as the chicken was cooked and seasoned nicely and the dish was filled with great ginger flavor. The Meh: *No outdoor dining The Ugly: *I saw a few reviews on here stating that the food isn't "authentic" (whatever that means) but that's pure horseshit. Combined, we've eaten at dozens of Vietnamese restaurants throughout the country, so while we might not be the arbiters of what's "authentic" and what's not, I think we know anglicized cuisine when we see it--and this ain't it. Sure, the clientele is a bit sus, but we're in Campbell for fuck's sake. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Conclusion: Good food, great service, and terrific ambiance.

I order from Khanh's about 2 times a week I'm hooked! I always order the same thing (Ca Ri Ga). It's chicken breast in a curry liquid. I don't want to call it a stew because it isn't. It's like a broth almost and not super spicy just perfect! I get it with rice. My mom ordered the lemon grass chicken and loved it. I personally don't like lemon grass flavor so I didn't try it. Will be ordering again tomorrow! The interior is quite nice as well, spacious and clean.

Tried Khanh's for take out for the first time last night and it was delicious. The fresh rolls with pork and shrimp were the best I've tasted. So light and fresh. I was concerned because there was no peanut sauce, but the sauce they included was delicious. It was like a sweet soy sauce. Also ordered the shaken beef with rice. OMG. The beef was cooked perfectly. Flavorful and tasty. I can't wait to have it again. The final item was the won ton soup. It was good, but a little on the bland side. I added roasted garlic seasoning from my kitchen and it tasted much better. I highly recommend Khanh's. On an added note, I ordered my food through DoorDash and the dasher arrived on a bicycle! Khanh's is a couple miles away, but he got here fast and my food was hot.

    SaIgon Crepe - so delicious!

This place has an amazingly diverse wide-ranging menu. So my review is just for the superb Saigon Crepe which is one of the two specialties listed on their menu. It showed tremendous preparation skills with high quality ingredients, and all SO fresh and delicious. The ambience, a former Denny's but upgraded, is nice and the service super attentive and timely.

Came on a Sunday night with family (6 people). There was no wait, the restaurant was clean, tidy and the seats were comfortable. The person who took our orders was very friendly and sweet. The dishes themselves we all found them to be on the saltier side and the beef inside of the beef noodle soup was unfortunately really dry.

Other than the less than decent service, one of the drinks we ordered had boba in it but served with small paper straw that the boba couldn't go through. Maybe I'm being petty about this one but the drinks also just didn't hit? They seemed pre-batched and lacked good flavor. We ordered wings and nachos. Wings had a weird texture and the nachos were mid. Two happy hour appetizers and two drinks were $65. The crab was very fresh and each crostini had a large portion of crab on top. The Brussels sprouts were very crispy and very umami with the cheese and bacon combination mixed in. The empanada was honestly a showstopper. I don't know how to describe it other than you have to try it. Both pastas were good but I prefer the mushroom one over the short rib ragu. The halibut was also good, and the basil sauce made it even better. I was already super impressed with everything but I think the stars were the 2 desserts. The Dubai cheesecake was an Italian style cheesecake, so it was a lot lighter than I was expecting (which was welcomed) and captured the essence of Dubai chocolate without being too overwhelming. The Lira in Wonderland was also SO good. It had a crown of cotton candy and was a mix of biscoff cookies, dehydrated red velvet cake (don't knock it till you try it), butterscotch sauce, and strawberries. We dined at Lira on November 14th. The Service (or Lack Thereof): The Menu Shortage: We arrived for our 6:45 PM reservation only to be told by the manager that they didn't have enough menus. We were told they'd bring them "later." Ignored for 35+ Minutes: We sat with nothing but water for over half an hour. To make matters worse, a table of six was seated after us and received their full entrees while we were completely ignored. The Drink Mess: After 40 minutes, the server told me they were out of ingredients for my drink. When I picked a second option, she tried to insist I wanted a drink with celery (my most despised vegetable). We thankfully stopped her before it was made, but the incompetence was staggering. The Food Fiasco: An hour into our reservation, someone dropped off a scallop dish. A while later, a server asked if I'd "received the scallops yet," and I realized the plate I was eating wasn't even intended for our table. We were so starving that my husband and I just shared them. Once we finished, the server finally asked my husband if he "still wanted his meal or if he wanted to cancel it." I finally lost my cool - of course he still wanted his dinner! The Aftermath: My husband didn't realize that my friends had actually made a separate reservation to take me back to this same spot the following night for a second birthday celebration. After this performance, there was no way I was going to step foot in this building again or give them another cent of our money. I texted my friends from the table to cancel those reservations and book elsewhere. With service this disorganized and insulting, this restaurant won't be in business long. Super disappointing. Don't waste your special occasions here. *Edit - it looks like Lira has closed. With the service we experienced, I am not surprised in the slightest. I am hopeful that whichever future business occupies this space is more successful.

It took awhile to get the drinks, but I assume that was due to the complexity of the cocktails, paired with having just opened the doors a few min earlier. Two notes: 1. The barstools were a little too low, imo. I don't normally pay much attention to that detail, but these were uncomfortably low for me, even with my long torso, I was hyper aware of my posture. So maybe that's actually a good thing 2. Other patrons were rolling in shortly behind me, so there is probably an early crowd when they first open, then a late night group that appreciates the 2am closing time. Interior is beautiful, and you can use the steps up to the 2nd floor either from N Santa Cruz or the rear parking lot off W Main. More substantial food options are a mere few steps across the hall at Heritage.

If you're new to Campbell and/or want to make new friends- this is the bar for you. The vibe is…read morealways super friendly and welcoming to ALL. It has become such a safe space for me that I'll show up alone sometimes (as a single, sober, semi-shy, female, that should say a lot). I don't drink and I've honestly never watched Star Wars but you'll find me frequenting this bar like it's nobody's business. The bartenders, staff, and owners are super friendly and kind, their Instagram is always up to date, and their bar is filled with amazing food and drinks (they even have a great non-alcoholic selection). Their schedule is packed with super popular events such as: - Karaoke on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays - Board Game Night on Tuesdays - Comedy Shows on Thursdays - Crafts on Wednesdays - Trivia on Mondays All of these events have the place packed with fellow nerds and friendly folk that will have no issue including you in anything they're doing. You'll find a variety of folk at this bar- across all ages, genders, and nerd-level. I personally have made a plethora of friends at this bar and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon :) Thanks for everything, guys!

I still stand strong that this isn't so much a Star Wars theme as much as pop culture. It's like a mini SD Comic-Con. Lots of pop culture as its theme. def heavy on Star Wars action figures and decorations though. Love the game room vibe too. As for the music. It's not any better and may have gotten worse. I think maybe instead of music they should just choose one of the many movies playing on the screens and pump that volume in. Oh they have Karaoke now too. Either way the place is fun and worth a visit. Who knows you might become one of the regulars and make some friends.

Finally stopped in after driving by this place for years. I had a coupon from a Willow Glen High…read morefundraiser, so it felt like the right time to check it off the list. I went on a Sunday afternoon post-church, and it was pretty slammed lots of kids and football fans. I actually had to ask someone to wipe down a table for us, so definitely a "help yourself" kind of vibe. My friend and I had a bit of a communication breakdown. I was thinking a light salad; he was thinking beer and pizza. Since they don't do wine by the glass, I ended up with a $17 mini bottle. It was okay, but $17 for a single-serve is a stretch, not exactly a wine lover's paradise. The food was a mixed bag. The pizza was definitely the star; you can tell it's made with love and not some big-box chain stuff. The salad was fresh, but the chicken was pretty bland. I didn't mind it, but my friend was not impressed. Between the wine and the lack of listening on his part, even with my coupon, the bill hit $71 for a pizza, a salad, and a tiny bottle of wine. I miss the days when a casual lunch didn't hurt the wallet so much! Still, the decor is cool and it's a solid spot for a group hangout.

I like that you don't feel like you're smashed right next to your neighbor. My friend got the hamburger for around $15. Loved it. I got the buffalo chicken sandwich. They got the order wrong. They were supposed to do a chicken breast, as opposed to the cut up strips, but it turned out to be OK because it was still pretty good quality. Just knocking off a star for that, otherwise overall a great deal, under $20 with tax and tip! The sandwiches are still a good portion size. Their pizzas have actually gone down in size though (and up in price)so just keep that in mind if you haven't been in a while. Overall, the best value for a pub in the Campbell area.
