I am new to Richmond. My coworker told me about this place. I had trouble with my neck. It was tight/stiff. I could not turn and touch my chin to shoulder easily. After my 45 minutes with MeMe I'm back to normal and my back arms and shoulders feel revived Queen THANK YOU!

I treated myself to the float spa and I would highly recommend it! At first I was nervous about the fact I wouldn't float but the staff assured me I would. I chose the tub vs. the pod as I've gotten a little claustrophobic in my older years. The room was clean and they have products available to shower and wash your hair before you get in. The room itself appeared to be very clean. Once you step inside the tub, you can leave the door open if you feel too closed in and you can turn on/off the meditating music they have playing but I highly suggest you close the door and let the water and music take you away. The water was slightly warm and once I got in and situated I let my mind go I floated very easily and forgot all my troubles. I hated when my time was up because I could've floated longer. Awesome experience!

This was my first time floating. I had been wanting to try, so bae got me a gift card. Wasn't sure what to expect, so I did some basic online research to be somewhat prepared. Preston worked at the front desk and was so freaking nice!!! The vibe is very earthy, hippie and organicy. Preston floats once a week and really gave good advice for me to prepare. The first time they have you do a float room. I LOVED IT!! You don't need to know how to swim. You just float baby. I did an hour and floated up out the room feeling a cross between pure euphoria and other worldly. I'm definitely going back and trying the pod next time!! Go. If only once. Try it. It's an experience worth having!!!

This place is fabulous!! I heard about it through my massage therapist who is also a Master Herbalist and makes a lot of the soaks abs teas for vitality. My friend and I decided to book a float session. I have done it before but it was her first time. I like how they have 2 options, a pod and a room. My friend thought she may not be able to be completely closed off so I told her she could pick which one she wanted to use. The first time the employee gave us an awesome run through and they really have thought of everything. Ear plugs, ointment if you have any open cuts, a comb, shower, facial products, you name it. My friend actually chose the pod so I got the room. I LOVED IT!! I will say I still need to work on being able to clear my mind to truly enjoy everything. I think I get about half of the time to really relax. The rest of the time I'm playing in the salt lol. Check it out!! They also do massages and a sauna and various other aervice Update 2/20 So I removed a star. When I got there I had to wait for 15 mins for someone to show up to the front. And when I was finished I had to wait for 15 mins after my float for someone to come so I could make sure everything was good. They have a camera in the main area so i thought someone would notice me but nope. Only complaint so far.

Best birthday gift I have ever gotten. Literally I was so excited to receive this gift and we made it a full-on girl's day. The service was impeccable. There was a slight miscommunication when my friend made the reservation but the servers we're so accommodating. basically the pod was being cleaned and so the two of us couldn't take our floats at the same time. But they allowed us to hang out in the sauna until the pod in the room was ready. They made sure we were comfortable and had tea and water. They were so apologetic about the mix-up. I took the pod which was a big step for me because I thought it would be claustrophobic; it was amazing. I felt like I was floating in space and it was easily controllable from the inside of the pod. My friend loved the room float she said that it was completely relaxing. The employees went through a brief rundown of what was going to happen and was very good about explaining what to do and what we should expect. It's basically addressed your comforter level I were bathing suit and my friend for her birthday suit. The towels were phenomenal. And the even had face wash, lotion, combs, ear swabs and a blow dryer available for after our float. Tips: bring a plastic bag to put your bathing suit in afterwards. Arrival little early so you can hang out in the sauna. Don't eat anything heavy or drink any caffeine before your quote. And do your research because I would have definitely added some lavender senses to my float if I knew. Definitely going back! I know what I'm getting all of my girlfriends for gifts in the future. Because of the mix-up with the reservation they were even nice enough to give us a discount in a little bit extra time. My friend even bought some of their special Epsom salts to take home because they were so nice to us. Definitely definitely recommend!

I broke my shoulder into 5 pieces on Jan 16. It has been suggested this might help with my pain management. Is the float warm? Should I wait to start until I am more healed according to the orthopedic doctor? I am currently healed to 3 pieces.

I'd used one of the four visits when the pandemic happened. So my first time back was in November 2020. At this visit, I was advised that the other two prepaid visits would expire if I didn't use them within two weeks and there was no way to extend the expiration. I would need to contact management with any further concerns. The location was nice, the float was great, and the relaxation room was relaxing, but I feel bamboozled for buying the 4 float package that 'never expires' only to be told they would expire. I absolutely do not recommend prepaying for visits without getting the details IN WRITING. IMHO, nice float location but the sales tactics were a little shady, though it could have been just one dishonest employee. Beware!

We stopped in specifically to use the salt room rather than the float chambers because winter is hard and my little one has been fighting off the after effects of a nasty bout of pneumonia for a while. I was willing to try anything to help her get rid of her cough. Maybe it is purely coincidence, or maybe this is legit, but she didn't cough once while we were in the salt cave and her cough cleared up and hasn't come back since we went in February. I liked this place because of how peaceful it was to sit in a nice, glowy room and chill out in a reclining chair with a blanket for an hour-ish, but I love that it really seemed to help my little one breathe better. I'm sold. It's also pretty cool that the first person essentially rents the room for $20, then you can bring up to 3 other people and they are only $10 each. Discounted rate so the room doesn't just sit empty with you, nice! I do wish they had a more accessible entrance though, wooden stairs only, so they do not appear to be walker or wheelchair or even stroller accessible.

I was skeptical but today i got out of my comfort zone and tried it. I am really glad i did. I went online and booked my appointment. You get a private room with a shower and towels and wash clothes, and theres a big pod with a light inside. You also can choose to listen to music while in the pod. Afterwards you can also use their blow dryer and etc to get yourself back together. It cost $59.99 for an hour, but they also have longer sessions and a sauna with red light therapy. The waiting area has alot of fun teas for purchase and the owner gives you a tea blend that relaxes you before your session. The tea was light and really did relax me!!! When i went in the room i was nervous, but the owner helped me understand how to get the best benefits from this. The first 20 minutes was me trying to get comfortable and figure it out. You cannot be tense for it to work. When i relaxed i drifted off to sleep and felt like i was floating on a cloud. It was a very unique and relaxing experience. The pod can be opened or closed and even though I'm claustrophobic i was ok with it. I will definitely be going back. The owner is very nice and informative. I think everyone should try this at least once. You leave feeling soooo calm and relaxed!! Theres alot of salt in the water so your body naturally floats. If you suffer from sleepless nights, back pain, neck, shoulder pain, or exhaustion this is the reset your body needs!! 5 stars!! Also theres an adorable dog that will brighten up your day. Booking my appointment was incredibly easy on their Facebook page. The prices seemed more than reasonable, so I went ahead and booked an open slot. When I arrived Beverly walked me through the whole process, answering any questions that I had and giving me a nice tea to help relax before the float. You'll have an option for music (I would go with Beverly's recommendation of 10 minutes at the beginning and 5 at the end). They have everything you need (towels, washcloths, etc) so the only thing you need to bring is maybe a pair of shower shoes. You'll take a shower in the room before getting into the tank. They'll encourage you to try a bunch of different positions and I would as well! Arms up, arms down, palms up, palms down, head float, no head float. I found that the head float, arms down palms up was the best position for me. I can't recommend this place enough, and will definitely be coming back.

I read the website to get an idea of what to expect prior to coming in and arrived a few minutes before my time. The gentleman that checked me in and gave me a tour made me feel quite uncomfortable. I purchased an hour float. I would not recommend this experience if you are prone to vertigo or nausea. I am not, but I felt very strange after floating. I had a dull headache and nausea for hours after. The room and shower were clean and you are advised to shower after floating. They offer toiletries, but they were not formulated for all hair/skin types and were practically empty. If you don't want to redress with salty skin, I'd advise you to bring your own toiletries. When I was checking out, there were several female employees lingering in the hallway staring at me. The same gentleman tried to upsell me on a massage to follow my float and to rebook. I declined both. I just felt very uncomfortable - physically and mentally. Not the right vibe for me. I'll stick with a professional spa or Fuller School for massages.
