After an unsuccessful search, said she would look at the cameras and personally call me about. Upon leaving & asking for my name & phone number, she also asked me if I was a part of any city-organization - I am, but I didn't want that to dictate any treatment. Unfortunately, I did not hear back AT ALL. After a few days I went back and spoke with an employee who said she didn't know the resolution to it. I left my number again & the employee suggested that I should at least of some small compensation for situation/grievance. I agreed and left my number for the third time... metal bottles don't go missing behind a desk... I even spoke with the gym employees and when I asked about the water bottle, one of them started looking around and couldn't even look at me in the face... This was a month ago and I didn't want to leave a bad review... but now it's safe to assume: 1. an employee STOLE the expensive water bottle (that's gross) 2. The manager didn't value me as a customer + didn't follow-up like they promised or even at my request. (And potentially covering up a thief hence why there was no further communication). I never once asked for my money back, I actually wasn't able to ask for anything because she wouldn't even allow me to speak after I said I wasn't any one of those 3 people. I was just going to simply give the business owner my opinion on the way she dealt with the matter because I personally feel you need to confront the owner with the problem before writing a poor review. She hung up on me and therefore I feel writing a review is my only way to let her know that it was very unprofessional to deal with a client in such a manner. First, she could have sent a simple email confirmation with rules, restrictions and proof of purchase. Secondly, listening to a customer before one gets defensive would be some wise business advice. I wasn't even upset and just wanted an explanation but she wouldn't even know that because she instantly assumed I was angry and started ranting before I could even talk. I wasn't asking for any money back, I actually wasn't asking for anything other than to be heard. I wanted to let her know of my disappointment that I hadn't received an email confirmation or certificate with proof of purchase. I simply trusted her by relying on my credit card statement as proof of purchase and I took her word on the fact that she would have it on file when I called.
