I have scoliosis, and she took such thoughtful and individualized care of my spine. She seemed to instinctively know exactly where my body needed attention, and I walked out feeling relief that I haven't experienced in a long time. Can I just start by saying this is one of the coziest places and the perfect spot for a day of self-care! I specifically planned my visit around the Salt Cave, and this was actually my third visit, so I already knew what to expect: 45 minutes of complete quiet, relaxation, and just being able to unplug. One thing I really love is that when you book a reservation, the experience is private. The reservation is just for you, but if you'd like to bring guests, you can add them for a reduced fee. The Salt Cave can accommodate up to four guests, and the chairs fully recline, making it easy to settle in and really immerse yourself in the experience. After my time in the Salt Cave, I wanted to explore more of the facility, especially since they had added the Fire & Ice experience since my last visit. The young lady working that day was incredibly helpful. She gave us a tour of the entire place and explained everything so thoroughly. You could genuinely tell that she loved her job and was happy to share the experience with us. There is so much this place has to offer, from the Salt Cave and float pods to the float cabin and the Fire & Ice plunge. There really is something for everyone, whether you're looking for relaxation, recovery, or simply some time to yourself. They also offer memberships at a reasonable price if you want to make self-care a more regular part of your routine. The person working here the night we stopped in was so sweet and helpful. Customer service was great. The facility is nice. We stopped in specifically to use the salt room rather than the float chambers because winter is hard and my little one has been fighting off the after effects of a nasty bout of pneumonia for a while. I was willing to try anything to help her get rid of her cough. Maybe it is purely coincidence, or maybe this is legit, but she didn't cough once while we were in the salt cave and her cough cleared up and hasn't come back since we went in February. I liked this place because of how peaceful it was to sit in a nice, glowy room and chill out in a reclining chair with a blanket for an hour-ish, but I love that it really seemed to help my little one breathe better. I'm sold. It's also pretty cool that the first person essentially rents the room for $20, then you can bring up to 3 other people and they are only $10 each. Discounted rate so the room doesn't just sit empty with you, nice! I do wish they had a more accessible entrance though, wooden stairs only, so they do not appear to be walker or wheelchair or even stroller accessible. read more

Yes, it's ok to be salty! I loved coming here to the salt cave the first time! I loved it even more the second time!! Yes, I will be purchasing a membership package to this spa!! Lori, a wonderfully helpful person, showed us all around the spa on our second visit. I've been to the salt caves in Williamsburg, which I also love, yet this one is not only closer and less expensive, but it is more intimate. The chairs are even more comfortable, 4 cozy recliners, perfect for friends sharing a pampering experience! They give you headphones which play relaxing music as you breathe in the refreshing salty air. Or, as Lori mentioned, feel free to bring a book or listen to your own music with air pods! We took a tour of the sauna, the ice bath, the floating pods, plus they offer massages, infrared beds, vibroacoustic beds and more! Plants are everywhere, adding to the restful atmosphere, and there is a comfy sitting area as well. There is a small gift shop with jewelry, rocks and gems, and other small trinkets. This is a place where it's easy to get hooked on, a habit well worth having, good for your mental, physical and emotional health! You deserve it, stay salty!! read more

Amazing staff! very friendly! If you've been feeling stressed or overwhelmed, float therapy is honestly such a good way to fully relax your body and mind. This was my first time trying it and I had a great experience. If you're a little unsure, they make it super comfortable--you can lock the doors for full privacy, and there's also a door that leads straight to the bathroom. This location has a very clean and healthy vibe with nice people and a variety of health living options. I have enjoyed time in the salt cave which really clears up my sinuses and lungs and helps me relax, and the red light therapy bed which has so many health benefits. Do some research on it. Was a true experience. Started with the Salt Cave, thought I'd get bored and wasn't sure what to expect. It was very relaxing and time flew by - truly felt like I was breathing so much better! Then I did the floating - and that was really nice. Again, wasn't sure what to expect and I worried about being in such a small container - but I was able to do the larger unit in the Midlo location. Now that I've done that, I do think I could do the pod without any issues. Super relaxing - felt great! I'm sure I will be back! read more

Great experience to relax and unwind....Salt Cave! With all the pollen and etc.....this was need to clear my lungs and airways.... to recharge and relax my entire body! Covid precautions followed, friendly staff, chairs are Massage chairs, they provide clean sock for the Cave. I recommend bringing sleep mask.....I could have used a true nap. The float pod and room are absolutely incredible. Once you learn how to relax in the water you truly feel weightless and like you're floating in space. I sleep like a rock after doing an evening float. It also relaxes my muscles and reduces my aches. It's nice to have the shower and lovely products to rinse off before/after the float. This is a long overdue review of the Midlothian float lounge. I've been there maybe six or seven times and each time is extremely relaxing and it accomplish everything that I go there for upon entering your always greeted by very nice and professional people at the front desk. I love the fact that each and every time I went, they kind of treat it like it's my first time, and they love to explain everything about the business. I've only done the float tank and the sauna, and both of them are excellent. The float tank is by far one of the greatest things that I've added into my lifestyle. The rooms are always clean. You shower right in the room with your pod so privacy is there. The pod is clean, and very easy to get in and just lay down and relax I highly recommend and I've personally told a lot of my friends to try it read more

I bought a salt float and a salt block sit in area on Groupon. We used the salt block sit in area but noticed nothing. (at all) In this case, don't believe the hype. However the company redeemed my float even though I never used it,, talked to Groupon and they gave me a week extension, (instead of my 3 months left) however during Covid who wants to float in someone else's water? Seriously will not be back to try anything else at with this company. read more
