I recently checked out this gym, and while there were some positive aspects, there were definitely…read moreareas for improvement. Location & Amenities: The location is pretty convenient, situated in a shopping center with plenty of parking and good lighting. The building itself is clean and spacious with large windows offering nice views. Inside, you'll find the essentials: a restroom, Aquafina water (though I personally prefer spring water), reusable sweat towels, and fans. If you're lucky, you'll get a trainer who actually uses music during your sessions - a nice touch! Scheduling: Scheduling could be a lot more efficient. Right now, it involves a lot of back-and-forth texting to coordinate with a trainer. An app with a shared calendar showing available slots (Google Calendar is free and would work great!) could streamline this process a ton. Having an easier way to see and select available times would save both clients and trainers a lot of hassle. Equipment: As for equipment, there's a decent range of basics: TRX band, dumbbells, a bench, kettlebells, resistance bands, and a punching bag. The only machine is an eliptical. There aren't any larger weights, like barbells, which might be perfect if you want to focus on a minimalistic, at-home-style workout. However, if you're looking to learn how to use a fully equipped gym, this location may fall short. App Use: The gym uses an app called Trainerize, which is supposed to help track workouts and progress. It seems to have some great features, if your trainer enables/uses them, but you lose access when you stop paying for the training. Some trainers barely use it, others don't use it at all, and it gets frustrating when there's no consistency. One trainer created routines I could do on my own schedule (program), another trainer created a routine I could complete only once when they remembered to schedule it (workout of the day), and I had a final trainer who promised to upload my routine but never did. Not ideal when you're trying to stay on top of your fitness routine and your mental load is already overwhelming! Trainer Experience: Over six months, I went through three different trainers. One change was my choice; the other was due to a trainer leaving. While the trainers were generally professional, I felt like my personal goals were overlooked. I came in wanting to lose fat and address muscle imbalances (cross-syndrome) and posture issues. With cross syndrome, there are muscles underused muscles that need strengthening and overused muscles that need stretching to get things back in balance. I felt like we used whole body strengthening routines that weren't tailored to my specific needs. When transitioning between trainers, there seemed to be little to no communication or transfer of information. This meant I had to repeat my fitness background and goals, and even redo exercises at lower weights because my progress wasn't relayed. It'd be great if they offered a complimentary transition session whenever a trainer change happens to ensure a smooth handoff, proper transfer of knowledge/data, and avoid wasting time. On top of that, on multiple occasions, my last trainer actually had me sanitizing the equipment during our session. IMO, trainers should take care of this step so that the paid time is focused on training, not cleaning. IMHO, this gym could be a solid choice for beginners who need basic fitness guidance and are looking to develop an at-home routine. But if you're someone with more experience who is looking for a truly personalized training program and/or a program that makes full use of a gym's capabilities, you might want to look elsewhere.

The Well Personal Fitness is such a warm, welcoming environment. I started or restarted my fitness journey with The Well and never looked back. Nothing has ever been this successful for me. I have made remarkable changes by having a place I want to keep coming back to again and again. Thank you Aubrey and thank you KZ, best and most honest and thoughtful trainer ever!

Since most only read part of a long review I will stress that you need to ask for Mel. This would…read morebe a 5 star review if it were in Mel only. She was the voice of reason and listened to what the people in her chair wanted. I had a party of 5 for mani/pedi (3 adults/ 2 kids) and we arrived at 2:40p. To start, there was a lot of pressure when picking our colors to get powder or gel, even on the 9 and 11 year old. I wanted French tips but after realizing Vincent only wanted to yodel powder, I chose a neutral basic polish. Mel had to speak up and tell him we didn't want gel or powder. We were all seated in the pedi seat. Vincent worked on me, Mel on the 9 year old child pedi, and the son on the 13 year old. Later, Mel worked on the other adult pedi and the son on the 11 year old pedi. Vincent was fast. Too fast; I feel I didn't get the proper care and attention. Vincent was finished with my pedi before Mel finished the 9 year old child pedi. Worse he decided to attempt to recut my nail AFTER applying my dark red polish and accidentally cut my nail bed. It is now sensitive to touch and painful to walk with shoes on. Only after a loud "ouch" did he stop even though I tried to pull my foot back as soon as I felt him touch the skin. It was a truly stupid move, I mean who cuts a nail when you can't see what is below it? Additionally, he took 2 phone calls and appointments while doing my pedi and he still finished before the other 2 pedi that started at the she time (this is important later in the story) Moving to my mani, I started by clearly stating to leave them long and it was ok that 2 broken ones remain shorter. I have gorgeous, strong natural nails. Two were only broken because I work with horses and dump 50 lbs muck tubs daily. He starts cutting and I remind him to leave them long. Then I realized he was changing my pretty square nail into a point. I told him to leave them square. He then goes back over the points and cuts them to square. By this time, I can see my fingertips which I really don't like. He checks his works, picks up the clippers again and I threatened to take his clippers and throw them across the room if he cut more off. The rest of the mani was fine but the damage was done. My mani was complete before the 2nd adult and other child starts. In walks another appointment which he just made while doing my pedi. Instead of starting the other 2 in my party, he takes the new client. In hindsight, probably good for the others in my party. The other adult was alarmed that both my mani and pedi were complete and mostly dry before her toenail polish was applied. I moved back to the pedi chairs with the rest of my party. The 11 year old pedi finally started when 2 more appointments walk in for 4:30 appts (they close at 5pm). Remember, I was done, the 9 year old was done, the other adult was almost done with her pedi, the 13 year old was waiting to get her mani, and the 11 year old pedi was just starting. I am getting tired of writing so let's end by pointing out the other 3 customers who came in while we were there were all finished when we left at 5:45p. With only 3 workers, I feel attention should have been paid to my party to finish our agreed services before working on other appointments. Ask for Mel; they definitely need her in this salon. avoid Vincent if you like your natural long nails. Be prepared for a little bickering among the staff.

I usually see Natalie, but all of the ladies there are excellent and take their time. I recommend making an appointment because they are usually busy and have a hard time taking walk-ins without a long wait time, especially since they have changed their hours recently and are no longer open on Sundays.
