I received a gift certificate for a massage and body scrub for Christmas. I love massages and know what a quality one feels like. I was a little hesitate and did not know what to expect because I have never heard of the business prior to receiving the gift certificate. I am not hesitant now. I am very impressed! My massage therapist was Ebony. She is friendly and truly understands the art of massage. Prior to the massage she did the body scrub. Then I left the massage room to shower off the scrub prior to massage. My skin has never felt so soft. It felt like butter. I am very tight in my neck and shoulders because I work at a computer all day and Ebony knew that without me telling her. She applied strong pressure and was able to quickly adjust pressure based upon how my body tensed if it was too much. I was sore after receiving the service and the next day. I am okay with that. The tension in my muscles felt released. I will be returning for monthly massage work. read more

Lindsay is the most amazing masseuse. It is refreshing to have an experience that exceeds expectation. She is a true example of strength not being defined by size. She is worth the wait! The experience is amazing from management and the entire team! Great job! read more

There is a reason this place has 5 stars and it's because it is freaking awesome. I love coming to smaller places to get a massage because I don't just feel like a number. My boyfriend treated me to a free signature massage for my birthday and Lindsey was my masseuse. She. Deserves. An. Award! Like..I honestly don't know where to begin. I get there, fill out paperwork and am whisked into a private room. Once in the room I'm given chai tea and dark chocolate. I was asked to pick out a fragrance for a small aromatherapy portion of the massage. (I picked Respiration because I have terrible sinuses.) I mean obviously you know what a massage is but Lindsey deserves diamonds, a house on a hill and a red guitar for the work she did today. I feel like a completely new person. I can do a backflip! That's how good I feel! She got out every kink, nook and cranny. She massaged that millennial stress right out of me!! Got damnit if I wasn't so poor I would come more often! Please go! Please request Lindsey! She will have you feeling like Beyoncé during a photo shoot when her favorite fan is blowing. Ok? Ok. read more

I would highly recommend Mirus Massage to anyone and everyone looking for a great massage. Even if you don't need one, you must make an appointment! Patrick is a phenomenal owner and treats each client like a family member. He makes the impossible possible. Ebony was my message therapist and I had a fantastic experience with her. She took the time and used her expertise to hone in on my trouble spots and gave me good advice on what to expect from future sessions and how to prevent my pain from returning. I will definitely be coming back, and regularly! You should too! read more

My boyfriend and I had a private couple's massage instruction with Patrick. I made the appointment as a Valentine's Day gift thinking it could be fun to learn some actual massage technique. We were both a little apprehensive about it since it's a lot easier to get excited about just going to get a couple's massage, rather than learning about them. Once we got there we were made to feel incredibly comfortable. The process was fun and an excellent learning experience. My boyfriend and I left the appointment excited to continue practicing all of the new techniques we learned. I look forward to going back in the future to check out an actual massage. read more

I can only add my accolades to what's already been said here. I've been getting massages from Patrick for at least 3 years now and each time is amazing. Amazing experience! Sometimes, we need a reminder it's okay to let go & feel good. Find a reason to go. Rachel or Patrick. Both have amazing energy and magic! I am very particular and discerning about energy, execution, quality, sanitation, esthetics, comfort, sense of security, knowledge and expertise. The service and the business are divine -- pure love!! Just go... And get the teas too. read more

I wasn't sure what to expect with my first ever massage, but Patrick is AMAZING. He really made my first experience perfect. You can really tell he takes pride in what he does! I can't recommend this place enough. read more

As a massage noob, my first appointment with Patrick I was a little apprehensive because I did not know what to expect. Fortunately, Patrick is very professional yet warm and friendly. He makes you feel relaxed and comfortable. He listened to all of my complaints from "this aching to that aching and sometime this feels weird when I do this...etc." (which I'm terrible at explaining) and in some magical way he took my babble and gave me exactly what I was looking for and more. I've seen Patrick again recently and had the Bliss Massage and I cannot even begin to explain how awesome it is. Definitely worth every penny, and even more. I highly suggest making an appointment with Patrick if you want an incredible massage with an experienced CMT in a clean, relaxing environment. BTW, buy the Bliss Tea, it's his own blend and you will not regret it, especially if you're a big tea drinker!!! read more

Wow. Booked a massage with Patrick and it really was one of the best massages I've had. He combined stretching with deep pressure, tension points and traditional massage. I am coming back from spending 4 months in Asia and had several Thai massages, and this was the best one since. Very professional, great warmed table, and friendly service. Highly recommend if your in the Carytown area. read more

I cannot recommend Patrick enough. He really took the time to find out what I was looking to get out of the experience, and made sure to deliver on that 100%. Since I suffer from sciatica and lower back pain, I've found the massages to be instrumental in helping me cope. Immediately following the session, I can feel such a big difference in the way my body feels, and the glow lasts for days! Patrick is incredibly professional, compassionate, kind, strong and provides the ultimate relaxing environment. Do yourself a favor and book a massage with him ASAP! read more

I've been going to Patrick for over 3 years now. Best decision of my life. Before I would go to the massage chains to get a massage and afterwards I never felt like it did my body any good. When I leave Patrick I can immediately feel a difference and a sense of relaxation. He genuinely cares about helping each and every person that walks in the door feel better. I work in the massage industry and I can tell you that it is rare to find that nowadays. He pours his heart and soul into his business and it shows. You will not find a better massage in all of Richmond! read more
