I was finally able to relax during the end (where she was only doing my arms and back).... It was $77.50 (including tax) which I paid at the beginning of the service. I was kinda skeptical because I've never paid upfront for a massage before but whatever... anyways, at the end, another women comes to bring me to the front room. She asks if I wanna leave a tip and I said... sure. I wrote $3 because I was genuinely in pain most of the service. She literally looked at me and goes "it's $10 MINIMUM for a hour" .. excuse me? When is a tip EVER mandatory? & after I write the $3, she grabbed the receipt for me and wouldn't even let me finish writing my total. I asked for it back because I didn't feel comfortable with how she treated me at that moment. I will not be returning. The entitlement is absolutely insane and unprofessional. Plus, the whole place reeks of FEET. I should've left after I noticed but always try to give a chance. Never again.

Once the massage started, I knew that it was going to be a painful massage. We paid for the deep tissue, so it was kind of too late. I did tell her to take it a bit easy. It felt good majority of the massage. But some areas, such as my back and thigh hurt. They provided us with a small bottle of water after their services. She has excellent technical skills (varies techniques, knows how to transition between "sections", etc.). She also has excellent instincts about pressure. She loosened my stiffness without pain to my muscles. Beyond that, though, the atmosphere was perfect. I *hate* being cold during a massage -- it defeats the purpose, in my mind. But she used heat throughout the massage, from the heated table, to heated towels and hot stones. The room was relaxing and dark, there was memory foam on the table (soooo comfy), and her personality was kind and professional. Massage itself was pretty good. For a regular massage, it would have been very nice. But for a Thai Massage.. it was subpar- I've had many, from all over, over the last 12 years and can say this was at the bottom, but again NOT A BAD MASSAGE. I just look for a certain technique and traditional style.. I also noted on the paper i wanted a back walk, and no hot stones. They used hot stones and i got no back walk.
