Make this your last resort eye care location. Only visit them if you are desperate and cannot get an appointment elsewhere! Let me explain... I initially chose this location several years ago because it was open Sunday and it was close to my home at the time. I have since however had several issues. My contacts were ordered by a customer service rep and they order the same prescription in both eyes when it clearly said in my paperwork the prescription for each eye was different. They had to be reordered. Then I ordered contacts, waited 2 weeks for a call to pick them up. No call so when I called them they couldn't find them... they called me back the next day and said I could come put them up. When I arrived they handed me a sample "not for sale" pack as my paid for prescription... I realized it and then they placed an actual order... this final straw was when I had my eye exam and ordered contacts the same day. The tech verified 2x my mailing address. After 15 days I called to find out where my contacts weee and I was told they were returned undeliverable as addressed... when the customer service rep read off the address it was incorrect. Even though they had the right address on file it had been entered wrong which is why I never got them... she reordered them, I insisted they be sent to the store and someone call me when they come in... so now 14 days later nobody has called about my contacts so I call. They contacts are in the store but haven't been unpacked.You would think that since it's there fault I don't have contacts, they would make it a priority for me to get mine! Picked them up today and. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. They overbook in masses and don't have time for patients. Desk clerks argued with me about if I was 4 or 6 minutes late for my appointment. All about the volume for this location. Do yourself a favor and find a Dr. who cares about you. read more

Love my glasses, but the lady that helped me was very rude and impatient. I went for pick up and just needed to readjust it, and when I went back she didn't care to try to fix them she did them with her hands and looked away. I didn't want to deal with her so I let it be. But what a helpful experience I had. read more

Every time I try to do anything here, it is a giant hassle. They have problems figuring out my insurance EVERY TIME, with EVERY member of my family. I'm not sure why they can't put notes in their system somewhere that tells them what code to use. And now today they tell me they don't take my insurance AFTER I JUST USED IT LAST WEEK TO GET GLASSES. I also used the same insurance for my exam last year, but yet today they told me they've never taken vision coverage that runs through medical. It's beyond frustrating. So I came to this location because it's closer to me to be honest. But they were so nice and helpful. They made the appt process very easy and quick. The optometrist doctor was amazing he took his time to talk to my girls and make sure that the strength was good for them. I definitely recommend this location. For sure read more

Most horrible customer service experience I've ever had! Not only do they not care about their customers, they are also over charging for their services and their products! I also called prior to closing because they never gave me my contact lenses prescription which I needed to place my order for contacts through Walmart, they placed me on hold for 20 minutes then hung up! Gone to the goodyear locations for two years and the same rude lady with the glasses still works there. When we go pick up the glasses or contacts she makes you feel like your bothering her. We won't go back ! read more

Excellent service! Was able to get my daughter a same day appointment, they were excellent about working with her picking out frames. Not the easiest thing to do with the six-year-old, but couldn't have been happier with the service. Great people and very helpful. read more

This is the most amazing place ever for glasses! Cynthia is amazing! We found her at the arrowhead location and when she moved to Goodyear we drive all the way across town just to come to her location because of the service she provides! I am legally blind and my glasses have caused a lot of problems in the past. Many times they have not been correct. I have never once had any problems with Cynthia putting the order for my glasses in. She goes way above and beyond the Call of Duty when taking care of her customers. She's so personable and so easy to talk to. She listens to what my situation is and all the things I have going on with my eyes she picks out the perfect glasses that will accommodate my prescription. I have never once had any issues with glasses Since switching to Cynthia. In Scottsdale I see a specialist and today before I went to order my new glasses I told the doctor just how amazing Visionworks and Cynthia is. Bought my glasses here years ago before it was Visionworks. Even when they became Visionworks I was still able to come in for an adjustment of my glasses. Got a new pair Last April 2015, This young lady helped me (forgot her name but reminded me of Mindy Kaling), I really liked her. I'm not to picky with the kind of frames I wear, so she totally helped me picking what frames to get. She gave me good information on eyeglasses and sunglasses. I came at a good time too. I got my perspective glasses and sunglasses and they were ready in about a week. They even still had information from when I went there years ago. read more

The exam went smoothly, just as planned. The doctors and front end staff are professional and kind. But what I don't like is when they answer the phones, knowing they're busy, instead of taking down your number and offering to call you back, they make you wait 10-15 mins on the phone. Only to find out whether or not my glasses are in or not. Then when they answer the phone, they're very rude and short with you on the phone because of how busy they're. They don't even let you finish your sentence before they cut you off and tell you to hold. In my opinion, its rude and it doesn't take much for them to take your name and number down to call you when they do have time. I don't have all day to be on hold for 10-15 mins just to tell me that you dont offer a service or that my glasses are not in. I shouldn't have to call back, be short and rude just to tell them, "Hey I've been on hold for 10 mins and I just want to know whether my glasses are ready or not??!!!!" I shouldn't have to offer that. That should be their first action if they're busy, point, blank, PERIOD!!! nobody has time for that, especially when you're at work!!!! On top of that, they told me my glasses would be ready at 10 days the latest. I am now on the 12th day and have yet to receive a call or my glasses. NOT COOL! I did come in when I did because of the time, I NEED MY GLASSES! read more

The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because the girls on the doctor office side are awesome, otherwise it would be 1. The ladies on the glasses side are rude, they make you feel like you are bothering them just to get service and don't have any interest in helping accurately figure out the insurance coverage and out of pocket cost without committing fully to the selections. I want to know what it will cost before I decide exactly what I want. When my daughter broke her glasses, I called around to find somewhere that did same day glasses. I ended up here because I was told that as long as they have the lenses, she could get them that day and also my insurance provided good benefits here. Imagine my surprise and frustration when I was told it would be 7-10 days!!! And, yes they had the lenses, she pulled them and put them in the box with the frames!! I came in a couple days later for my contact exam. They don't stock enough sample lenses, so I had to return for the sample in 10 days!!!!! Then when I returned for my follow up, the dr insisted on me wearing them for a week before "approving" the prescription. I have worn contacts (and pretty much the same rx) for 25 years! So, begrudgingly I return a week later (yesterday). Now I have to wait ANOTHER 7-10 days for the contacts to come in. These are 2 week lenses, I have no others left now that this process began almost a month ago and my left contact has a chip on the edge. I do not have glasses that I can switch out to. When I voiced my concerns to the woman processing my rx and contact order, she said I would be fine as the order would be placed tomorrow and should arrive on about the 20th. Yeah, I'll be fine with my damaged contact for another 7-10 days...no worries. I don't understand how such a major provider can have such a long turnaround time on contact orders. I can order from 1-800 contacts or even WalMart and get them within 3-5 days. Super frustrating experience!! And, I won't even get started on how my daughter's glasses were out of pocket around $70 for both pairs but my son was around $70 for one pair. I initially only wanted one pair for him for money reasons but then when I questioned the cost she told me that she didn't know but the order was already processed so I couldn't make changes or add another pair at that point!
