Everyone was so nice and friendly from the phone call, to the checkin, eye tests before the doctor, the eye exam with the doctor, checkout and even adjusting my glasses. Dr. Rivera was knowledgeable and so nice about explaining the blood vessels in my eyes and checking the mole on my eyeball. The staff was so courteous and friendly. I had a wonderful experience and was very pleased. Highly recommend them for your eye exams.

I stopped her and said I already know the address just wanted to double check that they were next to Safeway. Call center gal was very rude she told me I have to finish reading you the entire Address. Then I asked how many locations are there on west side. She began reciting off every address of a nation wide on her screen. I kindly said I just need to know if it's near Safeway. Reply well I've given you every address for nationwide. Did you have any other questions. Felt like I was being pranked by someone. lol. Go back to having local store people answer phones please.

About 2 months ago, I took out my contacts, put them into the cleaning solution, and reached for my…read moreglasses, which weren't where they were supposed to be. I subsequently walked around the house, barely able to see, trying to figure out where I had left them, wandering from room to room, closely looking at every table and countertop. "NO MORE", I said. I wanted options to be less reliant on glasses and contacts, on which I've been dependent for over 40 years. I made an appointment with Dr. Hwang, and from the moment I walked into the office, I knew I was good hands. Everybody was friendly, professional, and personable. I can actually list names of his staff with whom I interacted; they are all so easy to deal with and talk to! Dr. Hwang came into the exam room and we discussed my options, which included LASIK and IOLs (intraocular lenses). He is crazy smart and not only completely answered all my questions, I could actually understand everything he said; he's got a really good talent for making the complicated things easy. I couldn't have asked for a better specialist to help guide me through the process. After careful thought and weighing the pros and cons he laid out, I decided to have refractive lens exchange (RLE) which basically is cataract surgery but without my having cataracts. I chose a newer, extended range lens similar to a multi-focal that promises good near vision as well as distance. He performed the surgery a month ago. The surgery staff were just as amazing as his office staff; they work together like a well-oiled machine. Everyone was friendly, respectful, professional, and overall blew me away with how little it felt like actual surgery. The experience was painless, not even uncomfortable. It was quick. It was easy. That night I woke up and glanced at my alarm clock, and realized I could see it from lying down; no more reaching out to pull it closer! I went back to work two days after the surgery, seeing near, seeing far, seeing the computer screen, all without needing to reach for my glasses. It's amazing! The most impressive thing of all is I will never get cataracts and my vision won't significantly change as I get older. I want to give a big shoutout to Dr. Hwang, his staff, and the surgery center for taking such fantastic care of me. Thank you!

First, the doctor was great, but the staff needs work. Showed up for my eye exam and presented my…read moreinsurance card. She asked if I had proof of eye coverage. I said I had it on my ins. She wanted and asked for written proof or she had to charge me. I paid the fee and went home, verified I had coverage, and called back. I was told I already paid and that was that. I called my provider who called them to tell them I was covered and to bill them. When I called back, I was told I would not get a refund unless they were paid in 3-4 weeks. I was telling this to the place I went to get my glasses from who verified my coverage from the card, and they thought it was crazy. Our consensus was incompetent or lazy; I am going with both.

I got amn awesome deal on my Rx sun glasses, and then a few weeks later caught another amazing deal for glasses. The HD you can get for your glasses is amazing, everything you see is crisp! Surprisingly, received a call from Kim at the store. Again, I expressed my disappointment regarding my experience. Kim asked me to give her a week to talk to her people and she would get back to me. She called me tonight and I will say that Kim went above and beyond what was expected. The assistant that completed all of my tests was very helpful. She was patient and thorough with explaining everything. The doctor, Beth, was very informative and helpful. I can tell she is passionate about her profession. I asked about bringing my children in and they gave me everything I needed to do so. They even made my appointment for me for a specialist I have to see. Everyone was super friendly and knowledgeable. I didn't have to get frames, but they also have a large selection of frames and contact lenses. It's like a one stop shop for your eyeballs.
