Fashion Square Mall 85251 location I purchased a Meta Ray-Ban frame and prescription lenses from LensCraft at Fashion Square Mall in Scottsdale, Arizona. I remain very disappointed with the service there. None of the customer service representatives seems knowledgeable about the products, and their behavior is unprofessional and disrespectful, especially when questioned about the misleading information provided. I spoke with a manager who outright accused me of lying. The staff at this location needs training, or the public should be aware of how they are treated. Honesty and promptness. If you say my glasses will be ready by 12:00 the next day make sure they are ready. I came in at 1:15 and they were not ready. Followed up, no response. Chat support now says they restarted the claim and I have to wait another 5 business days. It is Christmas Eve and I still have no glasses. I had a horrible experience with Len Crafter. I had the eye exam done at the store and ordered lenses for my Meta Frame, which I bought in. I was told Lens Crafter can do lens for my frame. A Lens Crafter doctor ordered my prescription; the same store did my lenses. My lenses were delayed initially 3 weeks. When I was called, it was being ready, but the person was not there to fit my lens. Then I was told that they have to reorder the lens as it's not the correct size, causing an additional 2 weeks of delay. After 2 weeks, I was called again, and when I picked up my progressive lenses, they were inverted, causing a headache. I had to bring it back to the store and they reordered, which took another 2 weeks. When the lens came back, the angle was an issue as I had to tilt my head to get things done. I told Lens Crafter that I am not happy with the progress, and they were causing constant messes with my progress. Just get me a single vision lens. They ordered and took another 2 weeks. When I picked up my glasses, it still had a different angle on the bottom. I was told to come again to see a doctor. I was told to pay another exam fee when I saw the doctor. This is ridiculous. I decided to walk out and will now pursue it legally with my lawyer. I want Lens Crafter to be aware of this and want to give it one last chance before I pursue it with my attorney. read more

My husband and I went into the LensCrafters store at Oakview Mall in Omaha, NE, on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at 6:15 pm CST, regarding a billing issue we had previously spoken about with our vision insurance and LensCrafters. We were told it was taken care of. When we went to the store we spoke with the only staff member that was working we explained the situation to him. He said that we would need to speak with his boss, to which we replied that we had already done that and she was less than helpful, stating that there was nothing she could do about it. The employee exploded stating that doesn't sound like her. He has worked with her for a long time and she would not say that. My husband stated that we would not talk to her because she was worthless the last time we spoke with her. I tried to speak to him about my conversations with our vision insurance and LensCrafters and he kept cutting me off. My husband got a little louder trying to get him to calm down, to which the employee responded that we needed to calm down or he was going to call security. We got up to leave because the conversation was not going anywhere. As we left the store I said that we did not get his name. We returned to the store to ask him for his name and he threw a card at my husband. I said "That was real professional" to which he replied that we need to leave or he is going to throw us in jail. The card he threw at my husband didn't have his name on it. I filled out the formal complaint with LensCrafters asking for the bill that started all of this to be written off, a written apology from the employee, and if he refused to do that I wanted him fired. The form stated that I would have a response and resolution within 5 days. I have called 3 times and they are still waiting on the store for a response. My husband is afraid that if we go back to the store we are going to get threatened with jail again. read more

Chad gives the BEST vision check - Rx for glasses! At Lenscrafter in West Towne Mall (Madison, WI), Chad took time to give my husband the best vision check for glasses that he's ever had. To give perspective, my husband has severe glaucoma and has received MULTIPLE vision checks over the last two decades. He recently had a corneal transplant and the ophthalmology clinic took about 3 minutes to check his vision and give a Rx for glasses - the problem is that the Rx isn't right. My husband's vision is still blurry. Chad took TIME to really figure out what my husband needed in order to see the best he possibly could. Don't sit near the door to get your eye exam.. sit closer to the front desk. The light coming through the window Will throw off your measurements while fitting your glasses. Walk outside to look around with the glasses you want ( especially sun glasses... clean place. Depending on the person that helps you sometimes it feels rushed to select a pair of glasses. Just be up front & honest. Take your time.. this is a huge investment. Use your vision insurance.. it saved me over $1200. There's no need to pick glasses the same day if you're not comfortable.. take your time and make the right choice for you... not the sales person. I found out there is no such thing as "scratch resistant glasses! I paid for scratch resistant once. Get the 1 yr protection plan for an additional $49.00... just do it.. trust me! read more

My mother and I were out here in Arizona visiting family and my mother glasses arm broke. She didn't have another pair but we couldn't fix it because the screw broke in half with part of it still inside the arm. Used Oceanside, CA LensCrafters to have an eye exam on 1/9/23. They changes my prescription from the prior exam I had with them. Using their prescription, I has lens put in a pair of frames at another optical lab, but the prescription was WRONG. I opened up 3 Customer Care Form Tickets which they closed without ever talking to me. They lied and said they left me a message, but no message or trace of their call on my cell. Now for 3 days I have been playing call and speak to the store Mgr, who is NEVER available. WORST customer service EVER, not to mention the double to triple price they charge for eyeglasses. RUN, RUN, RUN if you ever think of using this worthless company. read more

I went in with my script for new frames and lenses. The manager ended up helping when I picked them up. Something felt off when I put them on. The manager tried to make adjustments for me. It was obvious after two adjustments he became annoyed and told me to go home with them and come back if they still felt weird, that I needed time to get used to them. I went to target, walked around, felt dizzy. My eyes could not adjust, it felt like I was in a fish bowl. I went back to LensCrafters, he was immediately annoyed I was back, he adjusted them so they were not so tight behind my ears and sent me on my way. He adjusted them so much that they are constantly falling off of my face, giving me headaches, from what I thought was being too loose, but I stuck it out and told myself it was just me. I needed to get used to them. After all, the man in charge of running the store essentially told me it was me needing to adjust to the glasses, who am I to go and question him again. Glasses are not my day job. (apparently it shouldn't be his either) I dreaded the thought of going back to the store in Surprise and encountering the same manager again. So I've just felt with it as best I could. Although, it has not been easy. I only wear them when I absolutely have to. I just walk around half blind all the time to avoid the headache that comes with them. I recently went to a new eye doctor to check my vision and see if I needed my script updated. Imagine my surprise when the new office went to check my lenses and with confusion asked me if I had requested "prism lenses". I told them I didn't know what that meant, they explained it to me. (Your lens is cut a certain way to assist with double vision, something I have never had) Noting it was only done on one lens and my lenses had been cut incorrectly. Which explains everything I've been experiencing. Turns out Mr. Manager did not know what he was talking about and at the very least should have checked my lenses when I told him something felt wrong. I must say, I am more upset with myself than anyone. For not trusting my gut, for not standing up to the extremely rude and condescending manager, and for thinking something was wrong with me and not the glasses. I would recommend literally anywhere else for eyewear. read more

I ordered 2 sets of glasses from LensCrafters on Bell/I-60; a pair of sunglasses and a regular pair. The sunglasses are fine because I picked those out immediately without input from the sales tech. For the other pair, she kept shooting down every frame I liked and tried to put me into smaller and smaller frames until we were in the kids section. I finally got her turned back to the adult frames section, but still she kept on with the "those are too big" until I settled for a frame I ultimately don't like because I don't think they fit. Also, she slapped the scratch protection onto the bill without even asking me; it just appeared on my bill for BOTH pairs, so like an extra $70. I didn't care for that and I probably won't be back to LensCrafters because of that underhanded move. read more

Eye exam Dec 28,2022 was great Dr and staff were very nice and efficient. Eyes did not change so I didn't need new glasses but ordered a new Oakley set of sunglasses. Got them mid ish Jan 2023. On about early July 2023 noticed on left lens the sunglasses coating was coming off so took them into store and staff took pics and sent to district manager and today got a call and was told not a warranty issue just normal wear and tear. Never had sunglasses coating ever come off and was shocked with what I was told as I've always taken care of every pair of glasses and sunglasses I have owned as I always buy better quality/pricey glasses.
