So I get there give them my card and they say oh it's only for the exam they don't take it to pay for the glasses. And the exam has to reach a certain amount before they'll do it. What's the point? So I canceled the appointment and I went to a different company. If you plan on using care credit to pay for your exam and glasses, don't go here.

From the initial interaction with the receptionist, to the visit with the doctor and then following with the interactions with the store employees... Wow. I'm blown away by how the vibes were in here. Everyone who works here is soaring with happiness. It was hard not to notice how incredibly pleasant they all were, to each other, and to their customers. You can tell that these people really love what they're doing and to come to work everyday. Last year during my eye exam I mentioned to her that I couldn't see well with my right eye and her response was, "that's the best I can do." I then realized that I needed to see a different doctor. The prescription on my right eye changed a whole point. I am only writing this because I don't want this to happen to anyone else. I trusted her and thought that she was doing her job right and that I had some other eye problem. He helped me pick out who I would contact. The front office staff was very professional and efficient. They had a wonderful assortment of designer eyewear and less costly eyewear as well. Luke explained the costs to us and even assisted us in picking out the perfect frame for our face shape. He explained all the charges and I was happy to hear that we had excellent insurance so we did not have to pay quite as much as I was expecting to pay. I learned more about eyewear today than I have ever known! I felt well informed when I left the store and felt confident that we had made the right choices. I loved the Finding Nemo touches throughout the shop They had frames I haven't seen at other optical stores, from fun and colorful to classic and timeless. I loved so many pairs that choosing was genuinely hard. I ultimately went with a pair of Maui Jims and couldn't be happier. The owners were incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and welcoming, making the entire experience relaxed and enjoyable. So it is difficult for optometrists to assess me because I often cant see differences in lenses. They were so patient with me as they worked on my prescription. I got my glasses from a different office and could not see well with my new lenses and they analyzed my new lenses and gave me feedback to give to the glasses store on how to help my lenses work better. The day I went I not only had exceptional service from everyone from the desk to the exam to the ordering, and as usual, Dr. Nguyen-Vu. It was extra fun since it was Ugly Holiday Sweater Day so everyone was extra fun and upbeat yet as professional as ever. I really appreciated how much help I received to get the most of my insurance benefits such as adding in anti-reflective and blue light protection. The reason I can't give 5 stars is that during the course of the year I had trouble reaching them by phone, and the first order I placed took close to 6 weeks to get since it was on back order and I think I should have been contacted and asked if I wanted to wait that long or pick another frame that was in stock. That's not a problem with this particular office but one that Nationwide as a company should be dealing with re: their supply chain and also ensuring phone inquiries can be handled better.
