She is very interested in any questions you have and in solving any eye problems you are having. She is friendly and patient. She tested my eyes thoroughly. Then we discussed glasses options and made a selection. When I got my glasses they were the best I have had in years. There was a slight problem with glancing to the left. After a few days I called Dr. Kwok and told her about it. She knew exactly what to do and fixed the problem. Now my glasses are perfect!

From day one, the service was great and still is. Dr Cline now works part time, but it is business as usual as service is still incredibly good. Called to inquire…read moreabout co-pay while debating between visiting them and visiting Costco and wanted to confirm that it would in fact just be a better idea to establish as a patient at a doctors office but clarified that we needed a contact lens fitting. Came in and verified insurance, had exam, and all of a sudden, as we're ready to leave, they asked for almost $400 more than what I was told on the phone as my co-pay PLUS an additional $45 for a "contact lense training" for a new wearer. Mind you, ALL of what they did, the exam, eyeglass script, and lense fitting (with new contact lenses wearer), would have been $120 each at Costco WITHOUT insurance. They literally LIED to me to guilt me to pay SOMETHING saying they could lose their license if I did not pay for service rendered or if they gave a discount. Not to mention, they were running late and the entire visit lasted longer than a typical Costco visit. What a waste of time and now I have to keep my fingers crossed that I can take my vision benefits to Costco in order to get a contact lens fitting without having to pay twice. Better frame selection at Costco and Eyeglass world as well as other shops.

When they arrived my regular lense glasses were fine. My sunglasses were a disaster. A small sliver of the lens just above the bifocal was accurate. The entire top half of the lens was out of focus. The bifocal was so low I had to tilt my head back to even use them. That was two weeks ago. It is June 2, 2025 as of this writing. I called AECC this morning for the status of my reconfigured sunglasses. The CSR could not even tell me if or when they'd be shipped! This is by far the worst new glasses purchase I've ever had. Who knows when I'll have my new sunglasses...properly made? I really loved the staff & the opthalmologist. This review pains me.

Afterward, I received TWO voicemails from the store saying his contacts were ready for pickup and telling me to come in at my earliest convenience. I drove roughly an hour round trip specifically because of those messages. When I arrived, Haylee refused to give me the contacts because my son supposedly needed another insertion appointment. I showed Haylee the voicemail transcription on my phone and had her read it herself. It clearly said the contacts were ready for pickup and told me to come in at my earliest convenience. Instead of acknowledging their miscommunication, the situation became argumentative. I asked for a refund. I paid approximately $400 in CASH, but they refused to return my cash and said I would have to wait up to 20 business days for a corporate check. I still agreed to make another appointment for my son. About an hour before that appointment, store manager John Martinez called and told me he wanted me to apologize to Haylee before they would continue with the appointment. I refused. I don't believe I owe an apology for being frustrated after their own voicemail caused me to make an unnecessary trip. John then hung up on me. Now my 14-year-old son has no contacts, I'm out approximately $400, and I have to spend another $400 somewhere else while waiting up to 20 business days for my refund. This has put me in a financial difficulty that could have easily been avoided. Mistakes happen.
