After being in Arizona for a few years, my vision provider was not working for me. I checked for network providers in the area and opted for Dr Cline, who was located in Sears at the Metro Mall. The mall was closing do eventually Dr Cline ended up in with Eyeglass World. From day one, the service was great and still is. Dr Cline now works part time, but it is business as usual as service is still incredibly good. From 2008 until now, I have stayed with this office since then. I actually don't write a lot of reviews for businesses that aren't restaurants but I couldn't help myself with this store. I came to get a new exam for glasses and contacts and then bought a couple pairs of glasses afterwards. From the initial interaction with the receptionist, to the visit with the doctor and then following with the interactions with the store employees... Wow. I'm blown away by how the vibes were in here. Everyone who works here is soaring with happiness. It was hard not to notice how incredibly pleasant they all were, to each other, and to their customers. You can tell that these people really love what they're doing and to come to work everyday. I went to the eyeglass world by the Arrowhead mall, the dr gave me an exam for glasses and contacts, which I told him I only needed contacts, as i have glasses already. But he did one anyway, ok was 129,00 either way, so what the heck. But come to find out when I went to order contacts from online there was NO prescription for contacts that I could use only glasses and an"I&R for the order on contacts!! They could have explained that it takes awhile to get your contact prescription, that I just don't get it there. I am hoping that I can get a refund, So mad, and a total waste of time and money!! I bought my glasses at vision works but they refused to adjust my glasses, insisting I needed an appt. due to the pandemic....Utterly ludicrous! I'm exhausted after work and I just needed an adjustment! So I drove down street to Eyeglass World on Bell Rd. Nichole Tucker, the general manager was refreshingly kind and immediately adjusted my glasses. It was such a good experience, I decided to make an appt for a dreaded, overdue exam, prescription and new glasses. I saw optometrist Meghan Lambert who was detailed and didn't make me feel rushed through my exam. She offered real solutions to deal with my dry and itchy eyes with specific drops and Bruder heated eye mask. Its really helped! I really liked her a lot! She was very knowledgeable. Then I had Nichole patiently help me decide on a new pair of glasses. She focused on the bridge of my nose to ensure a perfect fit and had great taste in style. I felt confident she guided me to glasses that fit my face. Most of all, she was professional, patient and fun to talk to. Hands down I highly recommend this location! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I broke my frames on the Memorial Day Weekend and couldn't figure out my insurance so I wanted to refit my existing lenses into a new frame until I could get a new exam since no one had an open appointment with an optometrist on the holiday weekend. The staff agreed to try, and they were very diligent in their attempt to help me. Sadly, my lenses were such that they didn't fit into any of the frames they had in stock. But they recommended a company that might be able to fix my frames next week. Frankly, everyone I worked with was helpful and did their best to try to help me. I located Eyeglass World since I just had cataract surgery in both eyes and needed new glasses. I was on a budget and was looking for a good deal as well as stylish eyewear. A commercial for Eyeglass World on television caught my eye. I decided to just drop by and look at the two pair for $89 frames and see if they had any I liked. It turns out this was a very smart decision on my part. I met Joanna on my first visit and she was wonderful to work with. She was friendly, knowledgeable and helped me select two pairs I really loved. All in all, I got the frames I wanted for an affordable price and had a great experience in the process!!! My husband plans to go there for his Stetson frames and they had over 12 different styles for him to choose from. Terrible experience - Dr. Kline was great! But, I'll never buy glasses from this place again! Glasses kept cracking - (4) times I had to replace them. I paid a premium for top of the line glasses! I'm retired and only use my glasses for reading & driving! Never abused them or dropped them! All I can say is buyer be where! As for me - I'll go elsewhere! While living in Escondido had a horrific experience and left an honest and not complimentary review. The Manager at this Eyeglass World contacted me noticing I was now living here in Peoria and invited me to bring my glasses in and see their Optician. Although reluctant I agreed and I couldn't be more happy with this experience. The Dr was fabulous, professional and thorough but the Office Manager Samantha sealed the deal. Been going to optometrists for 21 years and Dr Cline has been by far my favorite Dr. Very personable and welcoming, a jokester, in the times that we're in seems like nobody can take a joke. Front staff was welcoming, taking Covid precautions. No pressure on choosing glasses which almost every other optometrist office would try to push new frames for me to purchase. Was in and out with in an hour. Will definitely be my go to location moving forward. read more

I went in to get a pair of glasses and wanted to use my insurance. We are retired military. The assistant manager was the one that we dealt with. He ASSUMED that I was under tricare insurance. He then called tricare. I tried to show him the name of my insurance company on my phone. He snapped at me and said that he didn't need to see that. I told him again that I didn't have tricare (pretty sure that I know my insurance as I pay the bill) and he would not even answer me. I then told him to forget it and left. I then went to lenscrafters and told them the same thing that I told the assistant manager at eyeglass world. Lenscrafters then looked up my insurance (WHICH WAS NOT TRICARE) and then I was able to get my glasses. Maybe your assistant manager needs a hearing test because he sure didn't listen to me or maybe he needs some additional customer service training because at this point he doesn't need a job that deals with the public. read more

From beginning to end my experience was great! Being able to book an appointment the same day from my phone was wonderful. Because I am a busy mom, getting new glasses is not the most fun thing to do but they made the experience great. my appointment was at 3:15 and I was done and had my new glasses in hand by 4:30. I chose this store because the contact/glasses exam is one of the cheapest around at $89. My daughter, J, was looking for cost effective options to renew her contact prescription. I assumed that with discount pricing you would get discount service as well. I was definitely wrong! First the door dings when you walk in alerting them to customers. One lady in front was helping someone but directed us to the back area for the exam. Meanwhile, I saw a girl hustling down the hall toward us. She was rushing in order to greet us and walk us back personally. That's someone that takes customer service seriously. We were acknowledged immediately by a young lady behind a desk (I missed her name!)and given a short form to fill out. There was no harassment about choosing not to have J's eyes dilated; we get pressured at most places to get it done. Also of note is that I heard the lady in front of us ask the pre-exam/paperwork person if they had a pamphlet on macular degeneration that wasn't in Spanish. The young lady told the customer she would check and let her know. The customer went into the exam room and I figured that would be the end of it. But the employee actually went looking and asking if they had any pamphlets! Then the doctor got involved and went looking. He finally said he must have more at home and would bring them in. The point is that the employee did what she said she would and everyone made the effort to get the customer what she asked for. We were told we could look around at the glasses while we waited for Dr. Cline. The same girl that seated us (Dominique) came out on the floor to help. She asked if we were looking at upgrades-transitional, sunglasses, etc. but there was no pressure to buy. They have what would basically be considered BOGO -2 pairs for one price-if you buy just one pair it is still the same price as for two. She was very interactive with J, helping her choose frames and colors that would be flattering. When my daughter explained that she was looking for the lowest priced glasses right now, Dominique didn't try to upsell her and focused on the $78 glasses. It was our turn to see the doc so we left the sales floor and headed in. Dr. Cline is amazing. He is extremely personable and put J at ease immediately. He explains everything he is doing as he does it. He made a normally very dull exam seem like fun. He walked her out to put in the sample contacts with her updated prescription. He also wrote the prescription out for 2 different options so she could go with the most economical choice. We then met Crystal to pay for the exam and go over pricing on the glasses and contacts. Their pricing on contacts was very competitive but my daughter decided to wait to purchase. There was zero pressure or judgement coming from Crystal. She said just come back in when you want to order. She checked to make sure the prescription was stocked and it is. She made a copy of J's prescription for both contacts and glasses so that she can purchase elsewhere if she finds a better deal. Everyone at this store was just so amazingly friendly, interactive, and customer service oriented. It is the best experience we have ever had at an eye doctor and as a family of four eyes, we've had a lot. Crystal spoke very highly of the doctor and has been working with him for a number of years. I have a feeling that he sets the tone for how everyone is treated there. You can tell the employees seem happy to be there and go out of their way to make it a positive, upbeat environment to work and shop in. read more
