I went in the get my prescription check and voiced my concerns because I have more floaters than before, my vision is STILL blurry WHILE wearing my glasses and I don't feel safe wearing them while driving at night because my vision is BLURRY and I feel as if the anti-glare doesn't work. The male I talked to on my second visit was arrogant. I found him uncaring, slightly rude/offensive. He is the main purpose for this review today. He made me extremely uncomfortable and did not listen to my concerns. When asked how often I wear my glasses, I said all the time except not when I drive at night. Before I could get into the reason he interrupted me and said "so you don't wear them all the time". No, because I feel unsafe because I cannot see in my glasses. "Well you really should be wearing them all the time." I would, however, I can't see when I wear my glasses. "You should get anti-glare if you are having trouble." I have it, but I think I'm still getting too much glare. "You have more floaters because your eyes are straining." Well isn't that funny, because I've been WEARING MY NEW GLASSES yet I'm STRAINING to SEE!! Ultimately being told that if I wear my glasses then maybe in a year, they can get my prescription right.....but for now he could decease my prescription but that's might not be any better because the lenses I said were better was pretty much the same prescription. (Which I NEVER said was sharp. I just said 2 was BETTER than 1) WORD CHOICE DOC. "Pretty much" isn't the same. "Might" isn't what I'm paying for. Listening is part of your job. You ruined my day and are potentially ruining my vision with your poor attitude. This is a job YOU chose and YOU should especially understand the importance and concern of eye care. I really wish I would have looked at the reviews before I went because I would have never went to a 2 star establishment. That was my mistake. My experience was so bad, I do not have confidence that the new lenses will be worth anything. Since I used my insurance, I will just have to pay out of pocket and get rechecked at a place I trust. Something that's not over a ZOOM CALL! So many people want to go into the medical field for job security and it's more than that. Stop quacking around. You may know more than me on the subject of eye care but one thing I will ALWAYS know better than ANYONE is that I can't see with my glasses on! I can tell my eyes have adjusted because I can see less without my glasses, but I STILL can't see with my glasses on! One month later! I just have a lot of doubt that me not wearing my glasses when I drive at night is the reason I'm struggling but I will wear my glasses CONSTANTLY for 2 more weeks (because that's how long it takes for eyes to adjust) before I get new lenses.

About as easy and simple as one could make it. Got in, exam went quick, picked out some glasses…read moreand paid. Price was reasonable and service was friendly.

Luckily for me, Dr. Kathy Vu has an opening and the rest is history. I have been seeing Dr. Vu since December 2017 and also discovered her husband too, which's since became my go to dentist. Both of them combined are a power couple. They have been nothing, but welcoming, honest, and accommodating. My husband and father in law even come here which is great to support small businesses. Dr. Vu is a great listener and very thorough. She really shows compassion and a connection with her patients. Carmen, the optician is also wonderful and very friendly. I can't recommend a better optometrist and optician around this area. When it comes to Dr. Ngo, he is very funny and great at his craft. He really goes the extra mile and is just a great person to be around. He definitely isn't burning at all. The whole staff is amazing and I can't say enough how lucky I when found them through Yelp. Sam, Melanie, Sol... all amazing! I have been to other offices before, but I look forward coming here every time I am due for an appointment. You won't be disappointed.

I called trying to get an appointment with the front desk and I noticed the receptionist seemed annoyed when I provided the proper spelling of my last name. I blew it off because we all have those days but when it came to scheduling an appointment, there was no help. She asked what's a good day and I said any Friday, her response was we're closed this Friday and stayed quiet. I asked again, is there another Friday that you have available? She said next Friday at 12pm which was perfect because it's my lunch hour. So we went with that date. I said, "ok. that works let me log it into my calendar (which took seconds)" and the call hung up. I thought the call dropped... So, I called back and was transferred back to her. That's when I asked, who I was speaking with and when she said Destiny, I was like oh my gosh, It's my girl! So, I felt comfortable saying "OMG Destiny, it's me. what's going on? Are you okay? what happened" She was still in this disconnected customer service script and responded with, "I'm fine. I hung up because I didn't hear anything." Take in mind, I informed her to hold on, and it took all but 3 seconds to type it into my calendar. When I informed her that I wanted to schedule my other 2 kids her response was, "well. I didn't hear anything" again her sass was on a whole other level. I informed her that I would call back later and that I didn't feel comfortable. Her response was again condescending, and I told her that her approach was making me sad and that I wanted to cancel. "She said okay thank you bye." - not a care in the world. For the $1500 that I usually spend every year. I'd rather take my business elsewhere. I'm really sad about this because my son and I loved our Dr but I'm not okay with getting talked down to like that. On the hunt for something new

I've been getting glasses there for around 8 years. I have some sunglasses that I got from them ~6 years ago that seem better than my current prescription just because the lenses are SO much better (and my eyes get worse every year). They have options for lenses my eye drs office has never heard of. I made the mistake of getting my recent glasses online to save money- the focal point is on the wrong place and it's just not worth it. They also have the most amazing selection of frames high quality frames you can't get anywhere else. They can replace lenses in my grandmothers designer vintage frames. Most importantly, they are the most helpful, competent, kind, and lovely people. My eye dr made a huge mistake while I'm in a giant, very stressful, crunch to move states for my dream job- Lynn has gone above and beyond to explain all the ins and outs of starting progressives vs computer glasses vs work glasses. I'm a welder/designer/artist so I also do lots of computer work and that means 4 pairs of glasses. (Which is a lot, and stressful, when you haven't been able to get a job for years and have all the costs associated with moving. Which they've been willing to work with me on. I was not expecting that.) She recommended a Dr to get into see quickly for a second opinion and also assured me that the lenses are all under warranty so even if I move and need to mail them back to fix it they will make sure I get the correct lenses that I like. I've had multiple non elective eye surgeries. My migraines go nuts if my prescription isn't right. Bad blue light protection makes me feel uncomfortable. (You can't tell there's blue light protection on these at ALL.) None of this worried them- it made them want to help me get into good lenses and take care of my eyes. You only get one pair of eyes. I don't think it's worth risking them for cheap online glasses. It's also not worth the risk of losing local shops like this one. We only get one world. I agree with what they told me - we should all be trying to be kind and take care of each other, right now. Really, I don't think I'll ever buy a pair of glasses from anywhere else, ever, because it's better for my eyes and it's better for PEOPLE. My family lives in Phoneix so I fully plan to fly back and get new lenses/frames when needed. I want a world with more people and businesses like Sassy Glasses. This is a very stressful time for me and they've done more than anyone to make it all feel doable and to go above and beyond on my very short time line. (When I'm sure I'm a huge pain to deal with because I'm so stressed, too.) I cannot overstate how thankful I am for them and for their excellent customer service, quality product and attention to detail. When I get my glasses back I'll post pictures.

Came in and verified insurance, had exam, and all of a sudden, as we're ready to leave, they asked for almost $400 more than what I was told on the phone as my co-pay PLUS an additional $45 for a "contact lense training" for a new wearer. Mind you, ALL of what they did, the exam, eyeglass script, and lense fitting (with new contact lenses wearer), would have been $120 each at Costco WITHOUT insurance. They literally LIED to me to guilt me to pay SOMETHING saying they could lose their license if I did not pay for service rendered or if they gave a discount. Not to mention, they were running late and the entire visit lasted longer than a typical Costco visit. What a waste of time and now I have to keep my fingers crossed that I can take my vision benefits to Costco in order to get a contact lens fitting without having to pay twice. I visited, rcvd my eye exam, & ordered new glasses on April 23, 2025 The time it took to receive my new lenses was longer than any vision outfit I've ever dealt with...over two weeks, & I'm 75 yrs old! When they arrived my regular lense glasses were fine. My sunglasses were a disaster. A small sliver of the lens just above the bifocal was accurate. The entire top half of the lens was out of focus. The bifocal was so low I had to tilt my head back to even use them. That was two weeks ago. It is June 2, 2025 as of this writing. I called AECC this morning for the status of my reconfigured sunglasses. The CSR could not even tell me if or when they'd be shipped! This is by far the worst new glasses purchase I've ever had. Who knows when I'll have my new sunglasses...properly made? I really loved the staff & the opthalmologist. This review pains me.
