The technician was so good and patient with my 7 year old. The doctor was thorough (Dr. H) and kind.

Last year and this year they had to redo my glasses three times. The prescription was not correct and they had to send them back to the lab. It took approximately 2 1/2 to 3 months to get my glasses from the date of my original eye exam last year and this year. The front desk staff is very nice until you question them or question something they're saying and they get very defensive. Also, you have to continually call or text to check the status of your glasses and on multiple occasions they had them in their office when I reached out to check the status yet they hadn't called me. I will probably never return to Vision wellness again. read more

This place is a perfect location to serve the community of Verrado and it is a beautiful office. I came for an emergency, I had something in my eye and they took care of me immediately. All they asked for was my insurance card and took me back to see the dr. They have made a customer for life. I can't say enough about how nice and helpful they are! read more

I really wanted this place to work out because it's so close to where I live but they are seriously lacking costumer service. I originally brought my daughter in for her exam and I noticed that the person helping us stopped being helpful when I told her that I was only interested in glasses that my insurance covers 100%. I decided to give them another shot for my own eye exam because the optometrist was nice and professional. The younger receptionist greeted me but the other lady only said "oh that's her". I was initially told my appointment was at 10:30 but I guess they wanted me there at 10:20 for paper work. I showed up at 10:29 and the older lady was so rude and acted like it was such an inconvenience. She asked me to start filling out paperwork but she wasn't sure that the doctor would see me anymore. I decided to leave... I'll give my business to someone who actually wants it. read more

We just moved to Litchfield Park and a friend of mine recommended Vision Wellness in Verrado. I must say, this one of the best experiences I've had getting my eyes checked. Very profession, friendly and efficient staff. Dr explained what he would be doing thru the exam, and then carefully reviewing his findings. Many times vision centers try to sell you expensive frames, but this group actually did the opposite, and helped me save money! What a concept. They lost my family of four as patient. Dr. Lee is great but his staff is horrible! The girl in the front doing scheduling sucks. She was very snippy no customer service. And would not schedule my family of four for the same day. When in the past they would schedule my family of four on the same day. Supposedly they" updated their policy" to not schedule more than two family members on the same day! So inconvenient for working parents to have to take two separate days off work! Have been coming here for several years and the customer service only gets worse. They have been rude to me on several occasions and I've noticed that they're rude to each other. There's clearly issues amongst the staff. The last straw was when my husband went to his appt. accompanied by my daughter. The staff member called for my husband in a low voice while he was trying on glasses which is located on the other side of the office. My daughter was closer to her and heard what she thought was her dads name but wasn't sure. The lady called his name again and started wailing her hands up in the air in an annoyed way and started looking at other staff members pointing to her ear as if "where the hell is he." My daughter called for her dad and that's when the lady realized they had come in together. Called to speak to the manager as soon as my daughter told me what happened, I called them right away to cancel the order for both glasses he ordered. I called to speak to the manager regarding the customer service and she couldn't care less, she never apologized for the rude customer service or a "thank you for letting me know" all she said was, "ok, I'll talk to her." I have been customer of Vision Wellness for several years. But recently due to my work schedule I went to other store and did my eye exam. But then I became indecisive leaving the store without purchase as I have strong prescription for reading and for distance and wanting to make sure that the glasses fit me perfect. Then I called Vision Wellness explained my situation and asked them to email me my old prescription so I can compare the two. While my analysis and paralysis is driving me crazy :) I appreciate the genuine kindness of Vision Wellness staff trying to help me. Make me want to take little time off from my work to bring my business to them! read more

Don't come here and waste your time and money! Worst customer service. It would take you almost an hour to get entertained. I had to call them and asked if they got my glasses already since it has been 3 weeks already after I had my eye checked up. Sure enough, they had it already. So when I got to their facility to try my glasses, the other eye was not in a correct prescription! They made it stronger! Can they not check the glasses first and see to it that they were right prescriptions? So, I had to wait for 1-2weeks! The receptionist that answers the phone calls aren't nice! I chose Vision Wellness in Verrado because of the location and that it is a smaller business, not part of a large chain. I had to return for a repeat eye exam because the first time was completed incorrectly. The office may have state of the art equipment that is somewhat impressive, but their customer service is disorganized and unprofessional. Most of the lobby staff was not helpful, and I had to ask for assistance more than once because many of the frames were not marked correctly, was not offered to make sure my glasses fit properly, and eye glass case poorly made. I was made to feel like I was a great inconvenience. I had to wait for more than an hour for an appointment time previously changed by the office (which I had to arrange with my work). I did not receive any apology for this inconvenience from any of the staff members including the eye doctor. Instead I was given 3 different excuses for this the time delay (ER emergency, no rooms available, and doctor is very busy). I will not be returning to this facility. read more

They staff is friendly and helpful and the doctor was very informative as to what options I had. I recently went to this location to get a new eye exam and some sunglasses. I also brought a recently purchased frame that I liked with an old prescription and simply wanted to replace the lenses. The eye exam went good and now it was time to pick out some sunglasses. When I first met with the associate who helps with the picking out of your frames( a tall blonde haired woman ) we started picking out new frames. I asked her if my old frames I brought in cold be used instead and she checked them then said yes. I stopped looking at regular frames and went on to pick out my sunglasses. The sales associate told me about this "great promotion" that was going on where you bought one pair of frames and received the second pair and half off. This deal really didn't work for me since I was providing my old frames but she kept pushing that it was such a great deal I should take advantage of it. After about the fourth time of mentioning it i said ok but never picked out my frames because I assumed my older frames were going to count as my first pair. I have double coverage insurance between myself and my wife ( who works for a hospital so her insurance plan has amazing coverage) so I have never paid more than 100.00 for my new frames. My bill came to almost 400.00 and I was confused but figured it was the cost of the special treatment for my lenses and the high end sunglasses frames I picked out. When I went to pick up my glasses I was handed the sunglasses I remembered picking out but then was handed a pair of regular frames I don't remember picking out because I was expecting new lenses in the frames I left with the associate. I told them these were not my frames and was told they would check into it. I got a call from the associate who helped me and she actually tried to convince me that I took my frames home and must be confused. I know I did not but also knew that arguing this point was moot. Knowing that I was basically talked in circles into taking this promotion for the frames is what bothers me the most. I went in for one thing and ended up with something I really didn't have to pay for at that time. And on top of it all my old frames were gone. I don't expect anything from this because I did get new glasses and sunglasses but I didn't have to pay out of pocket close to 400.00 if the associate would have just honored my request for new lenses in MY frames. My fault for being talked into it but it was like a pressure sale and thats what my problem is. read more
