I've been a customer at this place for the last 10 years. I love the employees. Super friendly and kindly. Recently I called for my annual eye exam. Every time someone from a call center not in AZ would answer. I'd ask do you know if this is the location right by Safeway. And she started reciting address. I stopped her and said I already know the address just wanted to double check that they were next to Safeway. Call center gal was very rude she told me I have to finish reading you the entire Address. Then I asked how many locations are there on west side. She began reciting off every address of a nation wide on her screen. I kindly said I just need to know if it's near Safeway. Reply well I've given you every address for nationwide. Did you have any other questions. Felt like I was being pranked by someone. lol. Go back to having local store people answer phones please. read more

Sales people and most of the staff can be condescending and try to upsell you without disclosure and hope you don't notice I guess. I will not be going back. They did fix the problem however. I'll either go to another location or a different eyeglass business next time. read more

I had an eye exam here recently. The front desk receptionist wasn't very welcoming no greeting, just asked for my insurance and ID. Thankfully, the lady who did my pre-exam was so kind and friendly, and the doctor was excellent. He was knowledgeable, caring, and got my vision exactly where it needed to be. Overall, the exam itself was great, but the front desk experience could definitely improve. Customer service matters, and a simple hello goes a long way. I'd still recommend this place because the doctor and exam staff were amazing just don't let the front desk experience discourage you. read more

I had an appointment today, Saturday September 13th. The receptionist and the person who helped me ( Genevieve and Evelyn) were unbelievably rude and completely disrespectful. From the moment I walked in, their attitude was dismissive and unprofessional, like I was an inconvenience for even being there. Not only was I treated poorly, but she also witnessed the receptionist speaking with an attitude toward another customer. It's extremely concerning that someone with such behavior is working in customer service, especially in such a personal and intimate setting. Comments like, "I'm ready to clock the f*** out," followed by giggling after being asked a simple question, are completely unacceptable. No one should have to deal with that kind of treatment when they're simply trying to receive help. Especially while in pain with blurring vision. This reflects terribly on the office. I would appreciate the opportunity to have a conversation with the office manager or HR regarding this matter. read more

My boyfriend had gone to this location a few years back and had a horrible experience. I decided to give them another chance today, wrong decision. I experienced the Worst customer service, the staff was extremely rude and unprofessional. First I was given false information over the phone, when I mentioned it after making the drive to The store, they became hostile and were unapologetic. The worst! Goodyear Nationwide is so bad I don't even know where to start. The staff is so rude, incompetent, and the customer service is nonexistent. After filling out a bunch of irrelevant paperwork that has nothing to do with vision and eye care, I had my exam and then waited 3 weeks to get my glasses. Once the glasses were in, I tried them on and knew right away that the prescription was way off. I could see better with my cheap drug store cheaters than the $250 glasses they expected me to buy. They offered no explanation as to what went wrong with the prescription and only said I would need another eye exam. I felt committed at this point and scheduled another eye exam. When I showed up for my next appointment, they didn't have me on the schedule and wanted me to reschedule again. Do they think their customers have nothing better to do with their time... like work? They couldn't care less and did absolutely nothing to rectify the problem - not even one apology. They just stood there with a smug look on their face as if I was the problem. I got a refund and then got the hell out of there. Don't even bother with this place! Take my advice - it will save you time, money, hassle and a huge headache. read more

I've been coming here for years my daughter is 17 so you can imagine the years I've been coming there's always a problem here there's always new doctors new workers my shock was When Doctors Andre Juanez O.D was being rude through the phone was not letting anyone talk he was interrupting wasn't very kind . I Wanted to know why it's taking so long for my kids glasses it's been three weeks and there location close for a week They didn't email or call to let anyone know. . I have to change locations because I feel awkward coming into this location. Disrespected no one deserves to be treated in that way. read more

Horrible! My 10 year old came in for an eye exam back in January (Goodyear AZ location) Her glasses were ordered & I was told they'd be in around 3 weeks. Finally got them around week 4. After a week of the glasses making her eyes crossed, they finally got me in to find out the Dr neglected to add the prisms on the lenses needed to prevent this (his own admittance of his error). 5 weeks later, we finally get the updated lenses - but wait - there's no prescription in the lenses! (How in the works does this happen??). Again, glasses are reordered (the lady at the desk tells me Sarah, the manager, is in touch with the district to work on a refund for me due to the errors). 4 weeks after this, the final pair arrives. So after 4 months of her initial scan, we FINALLY get the right prescription. I have left 4-5 voicemails for Sarah to call me back and has not contacted me (nor any compensation). THIS PLACE IS RIDICULOUS & front desk is rude! read more

I will be honest - left this location because a few years back because the old doc was a little rude. My fam has now been loyal customer since Doc Juarez been there. He listens, advises and makes honest recommendations. He is young but very knowledgeable and talks to you in a way yiu understand. I have observed then work with others with no insurance and wow they really care and help them. His staff is pretty chill, miss my girl Nikki, but Shelby takes care of us too. read more

Initial new patient appointment went well. The doctor was had good bedside manner. He did say the prescription he was prescribing for me they had trials in stock which was great. Then I met with one of the tech to go over insurance and to order my boxes of contacts and to receive my trial pair. This is when it all went down hill. She stated they did not have them in stock and would have to order them and it would take about 3 business days to come in. That was fine. A week went by and I hadn't heard anything from them. I called and was told yes your boxes you paid for are in but your trials are not here yet. Keep in mind it's the same prescription I've had for years nothing has changed. They would not release the boxes I paid for because they for some reason require you to wear the trials then you have to come back within 5 days just to tell them the work. Stupid ! Oh and if you do t come back with In 5 days then you are charged a $50 fitting fee ! WTH ??? So if they didn't work why did you place the order for the ones I paid for ??? My trials finally came in 2 weeks later went to pick them up as I walked in at 5 pm they close at 7 the dr literally looked at me and walked away. I wanted to put them on and say they worked and get my boxes. The front desk tech proceeded to say I'm sorry the dr isn't here right now your going to have to come back ! She also told me make sure you have a pair in the box to put on for the doctor. Now I was pissed ! I just wanted the contacts I paid for and to be done with them. Now I work full time and couldn't schedule till Saturday. I get a confirmation VM stating check in time is at 7:30 for an 8 o'clock appointment which I thought was weird. Sure enough I was here today at 7:30 and the freakin doors were locked ! They finally open at 7:45 and the first thing she asks me is if I have the contacts in. I told her no I was told to bring them in the box. She says no you need to be wearing them at least 30 min before the doctor can see you ! Are you freaking kidding me !!!! This place is HORRIBLE! The staff is rude. They all need customer service training! I will never come back here again or recommend them to anyone! If I could put ZERO STARS I would. read more
