Cool venue. Absolutely amazing artist. Not a ton of people but a small crowd can sometimes be the best. Shout out to Lostboycrow.

Went for a small concert here. We're only going to be like 17 people attending. It was cold and raining and they didn't open the door on time because the band was doing soundcheck(the band didn't care as I saw the soundcheck the night before in another city. There was only a small area were we could stay out of the rain. That's the bad. The good was it's a pretty intimate venue was some tables you can sit at or you can stand. The bar has a good selection of beer on draft as well as in can. There is liquor as well. The staff at the door and the bar were all very nice. The sound is great as well. It's a pretty cool place to catch a show

I absolutely LOVED this venue. First of all, the only concerts I've ever gone to in Atlanta have been at the Masquerade (upstairs Heaven stage while moshing/jumping w/ dozens of sweaty bodies that cause the floorboards to sink a few inches--yeah, I get a nostalgic feeling just thinking about it...good times, good times). As I continue the tradition of listening to artists the average person has never heard of, I've come to truly love the intimate setting of smaller venues. I came here to see an acoustic session with Aaron Gillespie (playing songs from the past 15 years from Underoath & The Almost), William Beckett (who played songs from his solo career and The Academy Is), and with a cover by Nathan Hussey (of All Get Out). With the crowd singing/screaming/shouting the lyrics of our childhood, everyone literally becomes family. It's an amazing thing. Surprisingly, the space and the bathrooms are super clean. That and cheap tickets along with AC that actually reaches me has now made Vinyl my new go-to concert site. As you can see from my photos, I was front and center. And as an added bonus, I was able to get Aaron's pick! The only lame feature is parking. Expect to pay (when there's a performance at the Center Stage Theater) upwards of $10-15 depending on the night. Carpool, and let your passengers help with the fee :)

Jessie and I at Vinyl... Good times.

I love smaller venues like Vinyl and went there for my second time yesterday. It is basically combined with The Loft (similar in size) and Center Stage (a bigger venue). Previously, I had seen both a Nirvana and Pearl Jam Cover Band. Aside from the fact they both rocked out and had the crowd's full attention, the sound seems just right. I mean, I am no professional sound engineer or anything, but it is not too loud nor too soft. Yesterday evening I went to see two bands: a Sting Cover band and an INXS cover. Again, they rocked. While enjoying a brewski at the bar (a 22 oz. Fat Tire to be exact), I spoke with a manager there... The reason for the abundance of cover bands is that they sell out. I gotta say, I personally really dig seeing cover bands too (I mean, that is unfortunately as close as I am going to encounter Kurt Cobain =( ya know). So, the bartenders are all guys. I am not single, but, for all you ladies, they are not too shabby looking. Their drinks are not outrageously expensive at $4-$6. Thank the lord my bank account did not have to endure a $12 drink like they sell at The Fox. Also, the venue is small so you can get up close and personal with the artisits after they finish. The venue is basically a bar with a stage. And that's that. Both times visiting the entrance fee was under $10. So, if you have a chance to look on the website regarding who will be coming in the near future, who knows, you may be able to catch some Beatles tunes or something!!! If I witnessed Nirvana than anything is feasible!

The stage is kinda small but that's not really an issue for the audience lol

This is a small, intimate venue. It's got a parking deck attached to it which is fantastic for when you're going to a concert. They have a slightly weird way of verifying tickets, but as long as you have your email confirmation, ID, and the card you paid with (which they may or may not check), you'll get through the line pretty quickly.

I'm SUPER in there like swimwear!!! That'll be my birthday present to myself!!!!

Stopped here for Elmine's show. I liked the venue. It was intimate and the bartenders did a great job of keeping up with the crowd.

Good amount of seating that gives off a family basement kind of vibe. I'll start with the con: the service here was subpar. We sat in the overflow area and there were tables all around us. The two servers that we saw in the area repeatedly NEVER came to our table to greet us or take our order. My boyfriend ended up having to walk himself to the bar to get a drink and order some food for us. Even once the food came I had to flag her down to get another drink. We were not hidden or hard to see, so that was very disappointing. The comedy show was really good. The comedians were fun and funny. Each one's personality was so different and big and we laughed the whole night. Although good service is huge to me, I'd come back and give it another try because overall I really enjoyed the scene.

The building retains a lot of the look and feel of an early-20th-century church with interesting architecture, stained glass, creaky wooden floors, and all. It has a lot of character, as they say. It also has a lot of bars, at least one on every floor (there are four floors). We attended Ali Wong Live here on Saturday, April 11, 2026. It was a great show and we enjoyed the venue. My wife bought tickets back in November. We sat on the lower level, fairly close to the stage, in Section 102, Row F, Seats 1-2. These seats plus "Premier Parking" in the 100 Luckie St garage (LAZ Parking) cost $380.09 after taxes and fees, via Ticketmaster. The 100 Luckie St garage is two blocks down the street from the Tabernacle. It's an old garage with tight turns and spaces. Before the show, I got a Hendrick's double-shot gin and tonic at the bar in the side room on the second level. It cost $33.45 after tip. A good drink, but expensive. Before this month, the last time I was here was Saturday, August 9, 2014 for a big Yelp event / Yelper party. As someone who has acted before, I can say the issues we experienced were more on the production company than the venue itself. The main problem? Smoke. So much smoke. If you're going to use a fog machine, you need to disclose it ahead of time, especially for children, people with respiratory issues, or anyone sensitive to it. On top of that, there was a child crying during the performance. Instead of quietly and discreetly taking them outside, staff tried to address it in the middle of the show, which was distracting for everyone. That said, I do want to thank the venue for working with us to get a refund. The space itself is nice, and I'm open to returning for other productions in the future. Just a heads-up--the seating is very intimate, so be prepared to be close to your neighbors.
